DESCRIPTION

75Ω Leaky Feeder Cable

Leaky feeder coaxial cable designed to allow the controlled release of radio frequency (RF) signals along its length. This characteristic makes it ideal for providingconsistent wireless communication inconfined areassuch astunnels, mines, and large buildings where conventional antennas MAY NOT BE SUITABLE. The cable consists of an inner conductor, dielectric insulator, outer conductorwith periodicslots,perforations orstructured braidprofile,covered by an outer insulating jacket. These intentional gaps in the outer conductor enable the cable to "leak" RF signals, ensuring even signal strength distribution. Leaky feeder systems typically include amplifiers and repeaters to maintain signal quality over long distances.
