Reading a BIN Code M39029 machined contacts are tagged with a basic identification number (BIN) composed of three stripes. Each stripe indicates a number that ensures operators are using the correct contact during connector assembly. BIN codes can be stamped onto the shoulder or wire barrel (size 16 and larger). BIN codes should be read from left to right, starting from the wire barrel end.
