The 4th of July is typically the busiest day of the year for most animal shelters.
Fireworks and loud parties can scare and confuse pets. Be sure your animals are secured indoors and turn on some background music for them.
Double check that your pets’ ID tags are current and legible – if not come in during our open hours for a free replacement!
And for a FREE microchip too! Can’t be too safe, right?
Click here for current hours and information.

Meet Pliny, a 5-6 year old dog who's as smooth and delightful as the Russian River brew!
Pliny gets along great with other dogs, though we're still figuring out his stance on feline friends.
This charming fellow is on the hunt for a fur-ever home, and he promises to be as refreshing as your favorite pint.
If you're looking for a top-notch companion with a great temperament, come meet Pliny-he's the real deal!
Meet Munchkin, the adorable 4 to 5-year-old blend of Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound!
This little cutie came from a big adventure in a hoarding situation where she made friends with humans, doggies, and even kitties.
Sweet as a freshly baked pie and as gentle as a breeze, Munchkin is searching for a patient family to call her own, one filled with grown-ups or older kiddos who will adore her just as much as she'll adore them.
Meet Bear and Quasi, the guinea pig dynamic duo with a green obsession!
These BFFs have been roomies for three years, and they're lobbying for a lifetime lease on a cozy cage – in YOUR house! They're professional green squealers and as easy to handle as a TV remote (minus the drama)
Ready for a comedy show starring Bear and Quasi in your home?
