The City of Rohnert Park will again be hosting our annual National Night Out event. This year’s event takes place on Tuesday, August 6 from 4 to 7 p m at City Center Plaza (500 City Center Drive).
We invite you to join us at the event, where you can visit with our Public Safety Officers, Public Works team, and our Animal Shelter. You will also be able to tour emergency vehicles and talk with first responders from Sonoma State University Police, American Medical Response (AMR), California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the SAFE TEAM
Come hungry, as our public safety officers will be grilling up free hot dogs and serving ice cream and beverages
There will be fun for the entire family – the event will include children’s games, a jump house, a water balloon toss, and safety resources. Be sure to grab some swag from our generous local businesses who will be hosting booths.
There will also be many educational resources from our local partners, including Verity, California Parenting Institute, Home First, Senior Advocacy, the Rohnert Park Library, ADT Security, the Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and more.
You can also help us support our Special Olympics campaign with our “Cover the Cruiser” fundraiser where you can help us decorate a patrol car to benefit Special Olympics athlete programs.
National Night Out is held across the country each year on the first Tuesday of August. The event aims to build trust, relationships, and increase safety in communities We hope to see you there

Remember, this is the only time eligible candidates who wish to be on the ballot can receive nomination papers, solicit signatures, and file their nomination paperwork with the City Clerk.

The City of Rohnert Park Foundation is pleased to announce the adoption of its 2024/25 fiscal year budget. The annual budget was unanimously adopted at the June 25 Special Meeting of the Rohnert Park Foundation Board
The $326,500 budget expenditures for Fiscal Year 2024/25 include $300,000 for the Small Grants Program and $26,500 for concessions for the Performing Arts Center, professional services, taxes, and fees.
The primary source of the Foundation's approximate $1.5 million annual revenue includes approximately $1.4 million from the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria Other revenues totaling $77,000 include interest earnings. The City of Rohnert Park Foundation gratefully acknowledges the financial support provided to the Foundation and the Rohnert Park community by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. These contributions provide important investments in the community and mitigate the impact of the Tribe's entertainment facility.
The projected fiscal year-end fund balance is approximately $1.35 million. This balance remains available for future allocation toward additional programs and projects.

The Small Grants Program funds a diverse number of eligible non-profit projects that enhance and sustain the quality of life in the Rohnert Park community.
