Why we haven’t changed our trousers for forty years.

The iconic Rohan Bags are the original multi-function outdoor trousers and the blueprint for all contemporary travel trousers.

Everything in our clothing range (and whatever they may say, all other outdoor brands) owes a little something to the ground-breaking inspiration behind Bags. When we launched 16

them nearly forty years ago, the outdoor trade said they would never sell. They were too light, had too many pockets and were too different. Now after we’ve sold over one million pairs we daren’t change even the smallest detail – it might end up in the second great trouser revolution.
