Boots, Bandanas & Denim-on-Denim The weekend started with a nod to classic cowgirl style, think boots, bandanas and denim-on-denim, each friend perfectly styled to match the mountain setting. The bride treated her squad to cowboy-themed merch from The Ceremony Club and custom gifts from Party Lombardi, spoiling her friends with tumblers, hangover kits and other keepsakes they’d use all weekend long.
Saddle Up, Sisters! Decked out in their new Western gear, the group saddled up and hit the trails, ready for a ride full of Instagramworthy photo ops. Celebrating the club’s recent remodel, designer Enjoué Studio Events curated each detail to reflect the refined atmosphere of a country estate. Dark wood tones, marble floors and plaid accents harmonized with a deep, earthy palette; greens, rust, eggplant and amber, that smoothly transitions from summer into the first whispers of fall. The goal? To evoke a love story as enduring as the venue itself.
Elegant Beginnings at Arnie’s
The rehearsal dinner at Arnie’s embodied a warm, welcoming evening in a sophisticated, yet intimate setting. Guests were greeted by lush arrangements of variegated philodendron, geranium leaves and dahlias by Amy Lauren Floral Design, infusing a fresh, organic feel into the rich interior. Under soft, ambient lighting, the evening unfolded with a thoughtfully curated menu by Cherry Hills Country Club, echoing the elevated, yet grounded vibe of the event. It was the perfect prelude to the wedding weekend, fostering conversation, laughter and a true sense of occasion.

As night fell, guests were welcomed into a reception space brimming with autumn’s warm hues and vintageinspired elegance. The tables, draped in beautiful linens, were topped with centerpiece arrangements of dahlias, ranunculus and crabapple branches creating a lush, inviting tablescape. Each place setting was thoughtfully composed, embodying the sophistication of Cherry Hills with crystal glassware and tableware from the Enjoué Collection. Guests enjoyed a multi-course dinner crafted by the talented culinary team, followed by a showstopping dark chocolate wedding cake with vanilla buttercream, its layers covered with delicate, pearlized fondant by the venue’s pastry chefs. This evening of exquisite dining, music and candlelight was the perfect crescendo to a day filled with elegance, love and legacy.

The Club at SpurWing set the scene for a wedding weekend, planned by Felicity Events, inspired by legendary tennis couples, chic sport fashion and a color palette that’s as vibrant as the summer sun on the court. To start the weekend, the bride and groom served style with every swing, taking to the tennis courts in iconic Sergio Tacchini whites, followed by a round of golf where the bride rocked a blush pink golf dress by Hedge New York. And when it came time to walk down the aisle? The ceremony took place on one of the scenic golf holes, where guests were treated to panoramic views and a stylish lounge setup, creating a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Following the “I do’s,” the reception embraced bold, playful vibes, with pops of US Open blue, lime green and peachy pinks. Soft, meadow-inspired linens from BBJ La Tavola added a touch of natural charm, while signature drinks kept the tennis theme alive. The fiery dragon fruit Mockarita, dubbed the “John Mock Enroe,” captured the spirit of the legendary player, while the refreshing “Agassi Mojito” and sophisticated “Martini Navratilova” paid homage to tennis icons.

Arielle and Kathryn met while working together, often staying late at the office, where they eventually realized they were flirting rather than just being friendly coworkers. Five years later, Kathryn planned a surprise proposal for Arielle during a vacation in Turks & Caicos. “The ruse was that we had tickets to watch the sunset on the beach with a free bottle of champagne,” Arielle shared. “Once I realized we’d prepaid for something, there was no way I was going to be late or miss the event!” Kathryn had arranged for rose petals to line their path, and as they walked, Arielle noticed a photographer peeking out from behind a bush, making the moment feel both surreal and unforgettable. The surprises continued with a private dinner on the beach, celebrating their engagement in a magical setting. A few months later, Arielle returned the gesture, surprising Kathryn at home with a ring of her own.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES “Don’t get lost in the stress of wedding planning! Do the first dance lessons - it may seem silly in the moment but once you’re doing it, it is worth it! And take a beat the night of your wedding once you’re heading to bed to write down the highs from the day. We’ve also read our vows to each other a few times since we got married which is always a sweet moment!”

The couple always envisioned a destination wedding, knowing that friends and family were scattered across the country and would need to travel regardless of the location. “We really resonated with the idea of a southwestern-inspired wedding. They call it The Land of Enchantment for a reason, and it certainly lives up to its motto!” After a trip to Santa Fe, they fell in love with Bishop’s Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection, a venue that exuded the cozy, magical and naturally stunning vibe they wanted for their day. Inspired by the colors of a “southwest sunset,” the couple chose warm terracotta tones, romantic lighting and an intimate guest list of 60. Arielle rocked the edgy “Bella” dress by Katherine Tash, a high-neck silk gown with a dramatic cowl back. Customized with help from her Texas-based tailor, the look was complete with a Sara Gabriel veil, Reformation shoes and the Staud Mini Moon Bag in blue, doubling as her “something blue.” When the evening cooled, she added a unique seashell-fringe blazer for a final touch. Kathryn’s look was equally distinctive: a two-piece set from French label By Romance, blending a silk organza blouse with fitted tuxedo-style pants for a stylish, edgy look. Paired with Laurence Dacade shoes and Chan Luu jewelry, Kathryn’s ensemble was a bold expression of her personality. “We felt the most beautiful we’ve ever felt on that day while feeling like ‘us’ at the same time,” the brides shared.

VENDORS THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND Alicia Lucia Photography and their entire team! It feels like we’ve known them forever. From the first day of meeting when they sent us a sweet gift box of local treasures, to their great communication leading up to the wedding and their general presence on the day of our wedding, it was like they were supposed to be there all along. They made us feel calm and at ease, gorgeous and in love. We added on a videographer pretty last minute and they didn’t blink an eye and made it happen; we were so happy with this decision. Our photos and video were all returned to us while we were still on our honeymoon which was wildly fast, the best way to enjoy and relive the moment, and we are pretty obsessed with all of it. Even after our wedding, they continue to check in and engage with us in all the ways. Friends for life! We also wanted to work with Darling Details Vintage Decor Rental Co, her Instagram is perfectly cozy and aesthetic and it felt like the vibe we wanted to achieve, and she sure delivered. We asked to have pieces for the entire weekend, and she came on Friday and back up on our wedding day to restyle and place the pieces as they took place in different areas of the hotel. The lounge coziness was a guest favorite and really rounded out the scene after dinner.
wedding exit We had a surprise getaway. Kathryn surprised me with a getaway golf cart at the end of the night. We’d never really planned a getaway moment apart from a golf cart pickup and lift back to our room. Kathryn’s sister sneakily decorated the cart with handmade cans and lights and an LED ‘Just Married’ sign and as the night wrapped up, I was escorted to the cart and was so touched and surprised to see it all decked out. Driving away in the golf cart with the cans rattling and our friends and family cheering and waving behind us was one of the best moments, and even today I cry while writing this.

Meghan and Roman met during their freshman year of college when they would often frequent the dorm’s elevator together. Roman lovingly called her the “cute elevator girl” until he finally asked her to grab coffee, a moment that led to over six years together before he proposed. In December 2022, during a walk at Mayfield Park in Austin, Texas, Roman casually pointed out plant species until he spun around and popped the question in an intimate moment that felt so authentically “them.” The celebration continued with family at a favorite brewery, followed by a Charley Crockett concert to cap off their perfect day.

When it came to their wedding, Santa Fe was the natural choice. The couple had shared numerous family trips to the area and decided to make it home in 2023. They wanted their 185 guests to experience Santa Fe’s enchanting summer magic and the calm beauty that had become so meaningful to them. Meghan envisioned an “elevated garden party” with vibrant tablescapes featuring shades of pink, yellow and orange, complemented by whimsical floral arrangements from Mini Falls Farm. Meghan wore a stunning Galia Lahav gown, with hand-stitched floral embellishments, while Roman looked sharp in a 1940s-inspired suit by Bert & Jess Clothiers. During the ceremony, the couple saved a front-row seat for Meghan’s late father, with Meghan’s veil gently waving in his direction. The day was a blend of profound emotion and celebration, with Meghan reflecting, “The day looked nothing like what we thought it would, but it was still the most magical, mystical day of our lives. A day full of joy amongst the sorrow.”

Like many modern couples, Eunice and Jeffrey both swiped right on Tinder, he was her first match, and they were each other’s first dates from the app. Their first date at Grandma’s House in Denver, Colorado, ended with them talking until the bar closed, marking the start of their love story. After four years together, in a twist of events, Eunice decided to propose to Jeffrey. Inspired by New Girl, she tricked him into thinking they were helping film a music video. Instead, they watched a video she had made of their favorite moments over the past six years. When the video ended, she proposed and their friends and family emerged from the back of the theater to celebrate the moment. Eunice and Jeffrey planned a design-forward wedding with a desert garden party vibe for 45 friends and family at El Rey Court. Their ceremony took place at Pecos State Park, where they felt the presence of their late grandparents as birds sang throughout their vows, Jeffrey’s grandma’s name was Birdie! Before dinner, Eunice changed into her mother’s traditional Korean wedding hanbok, honoring her heritage and mom in an unforgettable way. At the reception, guests were greeted with a heartfelt surprise. Eunice shares, “We spent the entire year before our wedding taking Polaroids of our guests, at their wedding, graduation, birth of their first child, etc. and used these photos as their name cards, along with a handwritten letter letting each person know why they meant so much to us.”

kira & traeton Kira and Traeton met during their freshman year of college in Iowa, where they quickly became friends. After a few years of friendship, Traeton took a job in Missouri and, just before moving, “so conveniently,” as Kira jokes, asked her to be his girlfriend. The couple managed long-distance for several years before settling in Missouri. In September of 2021, Traeton surprised Kira with flowers and a note suggesting they take a spontaneous trip, letting her choose the destination. Kira picked the Florida Keys and before she knew it, they had flights and a hotel booked. Two weeks later, Traeton proposed on a beautiful beach in Islamorada.

My hair and makeup girls were the ultimate hype women, they followed me around all day doing touch ups and making sure I felt my best. Our florals team was fantastic and so talented!

The couple chose to say “I do” at Copper Rose Ranch in Livingston, without ever having seen it in person, “Within seconds of driving through the front gate, we knew we made the right decision,” Kira shared. The venue provided the perfect backdrop for their French countryside-inspired wedding, which included just 42 of their closest family and friends. Kira stunned in a custom Netta BenShabu gown, and Traeton looked sharp in a classic suit from Men’s Wearhouse, which, in true groom fashion, was picked out in about 20 minutes! One of the most unique touches of the day was their cowboy hat bar, where guests could select and customize their own hats, a fun and personalized keepsake that sparked high energy and gave everyone a lasting party favor. Their two golden retrievers, Nelli and Maizi, also had their moment in the spotlight, walking down the aisle alongside Kira.

High school sweethearts, Emma and Ryan, met during their senior year. Their first date, a triple date, took place in the heart of Victoria, where they spent the day exploring the inner harbor, enjoying dinner and bonding over shared music. Seven years later, during a trip to Paris, France, Ryan surprised Emma with a proposal under the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower. She, of course, said “Yes!” When it came time to choose a wedding venue, Emma knew her childhood home was the perfect location. “My dad worked so many hours making sure the property was in perfect shape for the big day, and I can’t thank him enough,” Emma shared.

When we first met, I gave her my inspiration but I also told her she could have freedom in picking the flowers. When I came to the house on the day of the wedding, I was absolutely speechless. Everything was so much more beautiful than I ever could have imagined and I am so thankful I had her as a vendor. It was truly everything and more. Our photographer, Annika Marie Brown was truly such an angel and I was so happy she could capture our day. She is the kindest, sweetest human on the planet. She was there for us for anything we needed every step of the way. Our videographers, Paper Heart Films, Bryan and Chelsea were an absolute dream. So kind, sweet and helpful and they truly went above and beyond for us! And, of course, my coordinator, Grace with The Good Party. Words cannot express how thankful I am that we had her expertise and help. I knew from day one that it was a non-negotiable to have a coordinator to assist me in the planning process. I needed someone with the expertise to know if I was missing things as well as plan out the timeline and all of that. I was confident enough to do all the decor and design, but everything else I really needed an expert. Grace went above and beyond before and on the day. From our coffee shop meetings, late night emails and then all her hard work on the day, our wedding would not have gone the way it did without her.
With the help of wedding planner Grace of The Good Party, Emma and Ryan curated an intimate wedding that embodied a romantic Italian garden party aesthetic. Surrounded by 75 of their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony framed by vibrant floral arrangements featuring lush garden roses, peonies and dahlias. Along the aisle, delicate blooms added a soft, whimsical touch. “The highlight was finally being pronounced as Mr. and Mrs. Warner. After eight years of dating, it was such a surreal moment to finally be married,” Emma shared. Emma wore a stunning Truvelle gown with detachable sleeves, embodying both classic and romantic elements. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to an al fresco reception under a clear tent featuring an abundance of flowers and pink bows. As the night unfolded, the party truly came alive on the dance floor. “It was packed all night, and we had an absolute blast dancing the night away,” Emma recalled. With the help of DJ Beauty and the Beat, the atmosphere was electric, and the couple’s vision of a fun, lively celebration was brought to life.

Connor, standing tall at 6’4”, quickly caught her attention, not just for his height, but for commenting on a picture of her beloved cat, Finnegan. As for the proposal, it took place in the most quintessential New York City, New York, setting, the rooftop of their apartment, overlooking the Midtown skyline. With the help of Ashley’s natural curiosity and a surprise video Connor compiled, showcasing their most cherished moments, the night ended with “Yes!,” although Ashley admits she’s still unsure whether it was “Connor’s beautiful profession of love, or the Sake from dinner” that sealed the deal. Either way, it was perfect, sweatpants and all. The wedding day was a reflection of Ashley and Connor’s playful, unique style, blending an Alice in Wonderland-inspired garden party with a ‘70s house party vibe. With Taylor Swift songs sprinkled throughout and macarons aplenty, the event was full of intentional details, like a vintage living room setup with old home movies playing. Chloe and Will first crossed paths at a college party during their time at the University of Southern California, but it wasn’t until a year later that they began dating. After eight years together, Will planned the perfect surprise proposal in one of their favorite places, the mountains. During a summer trip to Vail, Colorado, he convinced Chloe to ride up the gondola to take in the view. With a distant storm rolling in and the picturesque scenery surrounding them, Will got down on one knee to ask Chloe to be his wife and captured the entire moment on video. Despite being nearly impossible to surprise, Chloe was completely caught off guard, making it a memory they’ll treasure forever. “As mountain destinations have been a constant presence throughout our childhood and as a couple, it only felt right to have them be a part of our wedding weekend as well,” Chloe shared, making Park City a natural selection for their “I do’s.” The wedding weekend kicked off with a warm and intimate family dinner at Firewood, where Chloe set the tone for a chic gathering in a soft blue set from SIMKHAI. The following evening, the festivities continued with a lively welcome party at Riverhorse on Main. Chloe stunned in a crisp white strapless dress by A.L.C. with statement heels from Mach & Mach. Guests mingled in one of Park City’s most iconic spots, eagerly anticipating the wedding day to follow.

Chloe’s longsleeved Danielle Frankel gown brought timeless elegance, paired with pearl jewelry, while Will looked sharp in a tailored Canali suit. As the reception began, Chloe made a stylish outfit change into a playful feathered minidress by David Koma, ready to dance the night away. Underneath the stars, tables were dressed in soft linens and adorned with colorful, whimsical arrangements. With the live band setting the perfect tone, guests danced beneath hanging blooms and twinkling lights, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and unforgettable.

While Annie and Michael met in law school at Pepperdine University, Michael decided to move after his first year. The two remained close friends, and after Annie graduated and passed the bar, Michael asked her out, marking the beginning of their forever. Three years into their relationship, Michael knew it was time to ask Annie to be his wife. He shared, “At the end of the exhilarating Nora Mexican 1000, an off-road adventure spanning the Baja Peninsula, I had something even more important waiting at the finish line. Carolina and Joe’s love story began with a swipe to the right on Bumble in 2017. They were each other’s first dates on the app, and the spark was immediate, with shared ties to Jesuit universities, Carolina at Boston College and Joe at Georgetown. What started with mutual connections turned into so much more. After five years together, Joe proposed during a ski trip to Deer Valley, Utah, a place that held special meaning as it was where he first introduced Carolina to skiing. On a clear day, with panoramic views of the mountain range and Jupiter Bowl, Joe got down on one knee to ask Carolina to spend the rest of her life with him, surprising her with a moment she never saw coming. They continued the celebration with their loved ones on a trip to Lake Tahoe, California. Jackson Hole, with its vast landscapes and Western charm, was the perfect place to bring together Carolina’s Cuban ranching heritage and Joe’s deep connection to the area. “A significant part of my family were Cuban ranchers before immigrating to the U.S., and I knew I wanted to pay homage to that heritage,” Carolina shared. With its breathtaking views of the Teton Mountains, Snake River Ranch offered the perfect backdrop for their intimate celebration of just 12 guests. The Western charm of the weekend carried through every detail, including a VIP rodeo experience that added a fun twist to the festivities. The reception, held at Joe’s family home, was filled with personal touches; from the couple’s first dance to “That’s Amore” to an array of non-traditional desserts, including cookie skillets, tiramisu and fruit tarts. Second-look After the reception, I traded in my wedding shoe’s for a pair of cowboy boots and a classic cowboy hat. I’d originally planned to wear a modified version of my mother’s wedding dress and head to the local cowboy bar with family. However, given that we opted to extend our celebration at home and the fact that I wanted to spend more time in my wedding dress, I decided not to change. However, I’m planning to wear my mother’s gown for a special celebration of marriage in a few months.

She not only brought my vision to life but exceeded my expectations. As someone who’s grandmother is in the beauty industry, I was impressed by her expertise and even my grandmother learned a few new tricks herself! Isaac Hayden’s performance during the cocktail hour was nothing short of magical. His incredible vocals and rendition of our chosen songs had everyone swaying and dancing. Chef Jarrett Schwartz was a culinary genius! The food was simply exquisite and some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The hors d’oeuvres were also a hit. Austin Trenholm was absolutely incredible and I encourage everyone to hire him for their wedding! He was patient, kind and an absolute professional! In fact, he was quick to help with all of the needs for the day, whether that was pinning up my dress, helping with the bolero or bringing a smile to my nephews face for pictures! I would highly recommend Austin for your photography needs. Jared Wortley was a true professional. He was calm and collected, and his work was stunning from the very first glimpse. I can’t wait to see the rest! Maddelyn Kibbe’s floral arrangements were a masterpiece. She was quick on her feet when we needed last-minute decor additions and did an incredible job. Lisa Mack is truly exceptional. It’s no wonder everyone raves about her! She’s knowledgeable, resourceful and a pleasure to work with. She made the entire planning process seamless.

Introduced by mutual friends in Dallas, Texas, Jessica and Jamie met in the fall of 2021 and were inseparable from the start. Just over a year into their relationship, Jamie decided to take their bond to the next level by proposing to the love of his life. “It was just the two of us at home on Christmas Day. No cameras, no audience, no big show. An incredibly special and private moment between us,” Jessica recalled. With Jamie also hailing from the Pacific Northwest, their shared love of water made Lake Coeur d’Alene the perfect backdrop for their wedding. The two would go on to plan a chic, moody and sexy celebration at the luxurious The Coeur d’Alene Golf & Spa Resort.

The 8 piece band had so much energy and the dance floor was packed all night because of them. They curated the perfect playlist based on music we loved. They brought the house down! Photographer, Christie Graham. Christie perfectly captured our day with her incredible talent and eye. Our wedding venue, 50th Parallel Estate Winery. The staff were professional, so friendly and very attentive. No detail was spared bringing our vision to life. Our stationery and graphics designer, One Another Studio, Arielle and Shea, helped craft our wedding invitations, website and stationery. They nailed our vibe and aesthetic perfectly and are the best to work with.
Lana and Jacob first met as teenagers at summer camp in Lake Country, just minutes away from where they would eventually tie the knot. Years later, when Jacob moved to Vancouver, the pair reconnected and began dating. Four years into their relationship, Jacob planned a beautiful proposal at Queen Elizabeth Park. “We had dinner plans with his parents, which he purposefully ‘mixed up the time of the reservation’ so that we had about 30 extra minutes to kill just the two of us,” Lana recalled. As they strolled through the blooming gardens, Jacob got down on one knee, catching Lana by surprise. They celebrated the engagement with friends and family all weekend. The couple planned a wedding for 160 guests that balanced classic elegance with modern, nature-inspired touches. Their ceremony took place under a stunning floral chuppah designed by A New Leaf and Created Lovely Events, featuring lush garden roses and greenery. Incorporating meaningful Jewish traditions, they shared blessings under Jacob’s grandfathers’ prayer shawls and concluded with the breaking of the glass. “Our favorite moment of the day was standing under the chuppah, savoring every moment of the ceremony. Being in our favorite place in the world, looking out at all our friends and family, and into each other’s eyes, was so special,” Lana shared. The reception at 50th Parallel Estate Winery was equally unforgettable. Side One Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night, with Lana noting, “the band brought the house down.” The night wrapped up with heartfelt speeches from family and friends before the couple made their stylish exit in a Jaguar F-Type convertible.

Amanda and Thomas met while working together, both in the thick of becoming CPAs. Their conversations flowed easily, and it wasn’t long before Thomas asked her out. “The more time I spent with Amanda, the more I fell in love with her, and the city. I never really saw Calgary as being my new home until she came into my life,” Thomas shared. After six years together, he proposed in their favorite vacation destination, Hawaii, in the privacy of their hotel room with a perfect ocean view, just the way Amanda wanted it. The couple planned a timeless and classic wedding at Rouge Restaurant. Amanda recalls, “It was perfect for our intimate 41 person wedding and we really wanted to be surrounded by greenery and the outdoors to take advantage of the summer weather. Also, it didn’t hurt that everyone we knew raved about the food!” The lush outdoor garden was the perfect location for Amanda and Thomas’s vows set beneath a large white floral arch. Christie and Jordy met on the first day of college, living on opposite ends of the hall in their on-campus apartments. They quickly became best friends, with Christie even playing “wing-woman” to help Jordy with other crushes. But after two years, it finally hit them, like a “ton of bricks,” as Christie describes, that they were meant to be together. Their chemistry was undeniable, something others had noticed long before they did. The “aha!” moment was a turning point, and from then on, they were inseparable. Years later, Jordy proposed on a private boat in Corfu, Greece, with the stunning Ionian Sea as their backdrop. He asked Christie to look toward the picturesque coast so he could capture the moment, and after a few minutes, she turned around to find him on one knee, ring in hand. With the salty air, aqua-blue waters and his heartfelt words, Christie, of course, said “Yes!” Later, he confessed his biggest worry had been accidentally dropping the ring into the ocean! Thankfully, they returned to the States as fiancés, with the ring safely in tow to show off to family and friends.

ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES “Plan TOGETHER! We can’t tell you how many times vendors, family, friends and guests told us how shocked or unusual it was that BOTH of us were a pivotal part to each decision we made, we discussed/ decided everything together, and when time didn’t permit, we at least ran things by each other depending on what it was. We do know that not every person in a couple will desire to have that much of a say, perhaps some only value the fact that they’re promising a lifetime with their partner, and that’s okay too as long as it’s consensual and feels good to both sides! But we found it so surprising how many times we were told that no one’s ever seen a couple, where both were so heavily involved,or if I’m being candid, a bride that cared about the groom’s opinion and a groom that cared to even show up in that way. It was important to both of us to weigh in on things, communicate clearly about what each of us care about and think things through together as a unit. Have a glass of wine with your partner and enjoy the ride. A mood board is EVERYTHING! Pinterest is your best friend. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube - they’re all amazing tools. But, if you are a couple who tends to have decision paralysis, first create a mood board on what matters to you. Find what your north stars are and decide from there. Let your ideas breathe and evolve. Things will change month-to-month that are within AND out of your control. Don’t feel like you’re trapped from the very beginning in terms of ideas. Don’t be afraid to go against what tradition or trends are telling you to do. Trends and influencing factors can be key to ideas, we totally found some of our ideas that way as well! But you don’t have to be swayed by loud voices in your families and current trends on what everyone and influencers are doing. If you’re going to invest time and money, no matter how big or small the wedding is, it needs to reflect you and your partner. You two are the most important piece to that experience, honor yourselves!”

Christie and Jordy planned a wedding at Mountain View Ranch that beautifully combined timeless elegance with contemporary charm. As a digital designer, Christie meticulously crafted each detail to reflect their personalities, adding DIY touches with the help of her mom and Jordy. They chose a palette of warm browns, earthy tones and creams accented with gold, blending a classical museum-inspired aesthetic from their engagement shoot. Surrounded by lush wildflower-inspired florals by A Florae, Christie walked down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder satin gown with delicate tulle sleeves against the scenic lake and forest backdrop. Following their heartfelt vows, guests enjoyed a reception under bistro lights decorated with rich textures, candlelight and a warm, organic ambiance. Custom napkins inscribed with “drinks are on me | love, maisy” added a playful, personal touch while letting guests know the couple’s cat was picking up the bar bill. To end the evening, everyone indulged in a cake decorated with fresh figs and berries and a late night nacho bar!

Ryan and Ian’s love story began more than a decade ago around a summer camp campfire in Northern Michigan, where they met as counselors-in-training. Ryan somehow ended up sitting on Ian’s lap, a classic camp-style marking of her territory. Though their camp romance fizzled as the summer ended, fate brought them together ten years later at a reunion in Punta Mita, Mexico. Shortly afterward, the world paused for the pandemic, and distance melted as Ian returned from Chicago, Illinois, to Michigan to weather the storm together with Ryan. They soon moved in together, growing their family with a Sheepadoodle named Frankie. Since we lived out of state, and with our permission, she donated all of our florals to an assisted living facility so they did not go to waste. I am so happy our florals lived on and made a ton of people happy after our wedding. Also, Kate and Adri were exceptional wedding planners. They allowed us to ship everything ahead of time, which made the “destination” part of our wedding seamless.
The couple chose to host their destination wedding at High West Distillery, captivated by its mountain views, outdoor ceremony space and scenic drive. “Being surrounded by the mountains made it feel magical,” Ryan shared, setting the tone for a day filled with warmth and tradition. She looked timeless in an Ines Di Santo gown, adorned with her mother’s pearl earrings and a bracelet from her grandmother, while Ian wore a custom brown suit paired with sentimental heirlooms, including his grandfather’s lion cufflinks. Beneath a chuppah topped with Ryan’s mother’s wedding veil, embroidered with family wedding dates, the couple exchanged vows. The celebration continued with DJ Bastian, who flew in from Guadalajara to keep the dance floor alive all night. “There wasn’t a single song that wasn’t a hit,” they recalled, as friends and family danced under twinkling lights, colorful florals, light-up cowboy hats and vibrant sunglasses.

Krystal and Jeff’s love story began as coworkers. Over time, it became clear that their connection went far beyond the office. After four and a half years together, despite both having agreed marriage wasn’t necessary, Jeff surprised Krystal with a proposal that changed everything. He recreated her dream home on a rooftop, complete with leather tufted couches, greenery and a six-course meal overlooking the city and lakefront. In this magical spot, Jeff got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. When it came time to plan their wedding, Krystal and Jeff chose the breathtaking mountains of Aspen, a place neither had prior memories of, to create new ones together. Their celebration with 16 guests kicked off with a chic welcome party at The Bad Harriet, a speakeasy, where Krystal stunned in a high-neck white feather dress paired with hot pink Dior heels, while Jeff wore a custom Tom Ford suit with velvet flower embroidery.

Krystal and Jeff chose a remote pocket of Aspen’s mountains for their intimate ceremony, allowing the stunning natural beauty and organic landscape to take center stage. As a cello played a beautiful instrumental of “Always Remember Us This Way” by Lady Gaga, Krystal walked down the aisle, lined with soft and whimsical florals, to meet Jeff for their emotional first look. “Our planners surprised us with these gigantic wooden doors so that I had a proper entrance, it was straight out of a movie,” Krystal shared. The doors opened to reveal Krystal in her stunning Ines Di Santo gown, with Jeff standing at the altar, overcome with emotion. The crisp blue sky and golden sunlight bathed the scene in warmth, creating an unforgettable moment. Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at Hotel Jerome’s charming courtyard, which was transformed into an elegant, al fresco reception. Guests dined under twinkling lights, seated at long, beautifully set tables adorned with delicate white florals, candles and refined gold accents. A show-stopping white tiered cake with modern floral detailing served as a centerpiece to the evening, as loved ones gathered to celebrate the couple with heartfelt toasts and live music.
