When it comes to setting the tone for your wedding, it all begins with the invitation suite. Wedding stationery isn’t just paper, it’s the first impression of a beautiful celebration ahead. At Letterpress Made, custom letterpress designs elevate traditional stationery to an art form, bringing your vision to life with texture, depth and an irresistible sense of fun. From luxurious cotton paper to hand-pressed typography, each invitation is crafted to be as unique as your love story. Whether your aesthetic leans toward refined Western details, bold and colorful statement pieces or soft romantic hues, your stationery should reflect your wedding’s personality. Because when your wedding day is this meaningful, your invitations should be, too.
When should we send out our wedding invitations?
Traditionally, invitations should be sent six to eight weeks before the wedding. If you’re hosting a destination wedding, mail them three to four months in advance to allow guests ample time to plan.
Do we really need save the dates?
Save the dates aren’t required, but they’re highly recommended, especially for destination weddings or celebrations with a large number of out-of-town guests. They should be mailed six to twelve months in advance, giving guests time to make travel arrangements.
An invitation suite is more than just the main card, it’s a carefully curated ensemble of details. Traditional suites often include the invitation, RSVP card and details card, but modern couples are embracing creative additions like illustrated maps, weekend itineraries and personalized monograms. Whether you opt for a timeless letterpress or a contemporary flat print, layering these elements with thoughtful touches like vellum wraps, silk ribbons or a wax seal create drama and intrigue for your day. And don’t forget the envelope! From calligraphy-adorned addresses to personalized liners, it’s all in the details.
For couples opting for an intimate elopement, traditional invitations may not be necessary, but that doesn’t mean you have to skip the announcement. Post-wedding announcements allow you to share your joy with loved ones, even if they weren’t present for the vows. Whether it’s a beautifully designed letterpress card or a photo-centric keepsake, a formal announcement ensures your celebration is cherished by family and friends. And if you’re planning a casual reception after eloping, including an RSVP option makes it effortless for guests to join the festivities.
Can we still have a formal invitation if we elope?
Of course! Some couples choose to send invitations for a celebration later, whether it’s a small intimate dinner or a full reception. Your stationery should reflect the tone of your event, whether that’s relaxed and playful or formal and elegant.
Building the Perfect Invitation Suite
Must we send RSVP cards, or can we just have guests RSVP online? While traditional etiquette suggests including a physical RSVP card, modern couples often opt for digital RSVPs via their wedding website. If you go digital, consider including a small RSVP insert with a polite request and website link to ensure guests respond on time.
Should we include our wedding website on the invitation?
Absolutely! The best place for your wedding website is on the details card or RSVP card, not the formal invitation itself. This keeps the main invite timeless while still providing guests with all the necessary info.
Are wax seals, ribbons and envelope liners worth it?
Yes! These small details elevate your invitations and add a luxurious feel. Wax seals, silk ribbons and illustrated envelope liners make opening your invitation an experience. Plus, they set the tone for your wedding aesthetic.
What’s the best way to address envelopes?
The way you address your envelopes sets the tone for your wedding. For formal weddings, use full names and spell out the streets and states (e.g., “Avenue” instead of “Ave.”). For a more relaxed feel, first names or even playful nicknames can work. Consider hand calligraphy or digital printing for a polished final touch.
Beyond the formalities, your wedding paper is an opportunity to showcase your personality. Play with textures, unexpected color palettes or meaningful nods to your love story. Letterpress invitations on rich handmade paper give an heirloom-worthy feel, while gold foil adds a sophisticated glow. Dreaming of a romantic touch? A custom crest, drawn just for you, can be woven into menus, napkins and even signage for a seamless aesthetic. Because in the world of weddings, the smallest details often leave the biggest impression.

Lauren and Sam met like many couples these days, on a dating app. But it wasn’t love at first swipe. The pair matched four times before finally deciding to go on their first date. Sparks flew, and just five months into their relationship, Sam planned a romantic proposal during a family beach vacation. While Lauren was getting ready for photos, Sam set up a picturesque scene by the water. With their song, “My Best Friend” by Tim McGraw, playing softly in the background, he led her to the spot and got down on one knee to ask her to marry him. Now, they’re planning a destination wedding on the very same beach where it all began, recreating that magical moment.

Stella and Bryan first met as students at the University of California, Riverside. Though both were dating other people at the time, fate brought them back together when the timing was just right. At a house party, Stella rang the doorbell and it was Bryan who opened the door, that’s when their connection truly began. Twelve years of adventures later, Bryan was ready to propose during a vacation in Costa Rica. Stella shared, “Little did I know, Bryan had the ring the entire week as we were ziplining, waterfall rappelling, hiking, etc. He kept trying to set up the proposal, but his plans kept getting derailed: our car got a flat tire, I would accidentally ruin the camera shot, the waterfall would be closed, etc.” Finally, on their last evening, he popped the question during dinner in the treetops of a cloud forest, catching Stella completely by surprise. “It was perfectly imperfect,” she added.

Kait and Coulsen first met at a New Year’s party back in 2020 hosted by a mutual friend, Mikey. Mikey, who was moving two doors down from Kait the following week, invited a few to join, including Coulsen. With Kait unintentionally channeling Elizabeth Holmes in a black turtleneck and jeans and Coulsen sporting his signature luscious hair, sparks flew. “You don’t know this yet, but we’re about to be best friends,” she joked, not realizing how true it would become. After months of game nights and a retro skating trip where Coulsen claimed he fell in love, he mustered the courage to ask her out. It took time and persistence, but eventually, he won her over. After one and a half years of memories, Coulsen planned an unforgettable proposal by surprising her with dinner at Sundance Resort’s Tree Room before whisking her away to Vivian Park, where a candle-lit gazebo filled with roses awaited. Dropping to one knee, Coulsen asked Kait to be his forever. “I was completely speechless but managed to get out a nod before grabbing my now fiancé and celebrating the perfect moment,” she shared. Of course, Coulsen didn’t stop there. The next morning, Coulsen surpised Kait with a wedding dress appointment at Alta Moda Bridal, where he had already sent her Pinterest board inspiration to the stylists. It was a perfect start to their engagement and the beginning of their journey toward their whimsical garden wedding in August.

With a shared love for the gym, it was only a matter of time before Kylee and Josh bumped into one another. On what seemed like another normal day during competition prep, Josh spotted Kylee and asked if she wanted to lift together, little did they know, they’d soon be spotting each other for life. After two and a half years of dating, Josh planned a proposal during a winter getaway to New York City, New York. In the middle of Central Park, Josh found a quiet spot and set up his camera, pretending to snap a picture. But instead of a photo, he hit record, capturing the moment he dropped to one knee and asked Kylee to be his wife.
With a love for adventure and the great outdoors, Kylee and Josh knew they wanted an intimate celebration that reflected their passions. Trading Florida’s familiar beaches for the breathtaking red rocks of Moab, they planned a minimalistic yet unforgettable elopement. Dead Horse State Park provided the perfect dramatic backdrop for their private vows. With epic views as witness, they cut cake, popped champagne and soaked in every moment of their unforgettable day.

Our photographer, Kayla Bertagnolli Photography, was the best decision I made for our wedding. She was basically a wedding photographer and day-of wedding planner all in one. She drove us from each location and was so easy going. Kayla made our special day the best day ever. I can’t thank her enough!
Our florist, Farm Yard, made the most beautiful bridal bouquet for me. And was so kind and made sure it was just what I wanted.
My hair and makeup person, LV Bridal Designs - Lindsey, woke up so early for my sunrise shoot and even came back later that day and redid my hair for me for the ceremony so it was perfect. She was so sweet and did such an amazing job on both my hair and makeup.
“Don’t stress the little things they don’t matter at the end of the day. Try not to make the planning harder than it needs to be and don’t wait until last minute!”

Dallen insists he fell in love the moment he laid eyes on Meredith, though she took a bit more time to fall. Their meeting seemed like something out of a romantic comedy, shared Meredith, a twist of fate at The Westerner, a country dance club in Salt Lake City. Meredith, a self-proclaimed “slightly neurotic” student who spent most of her college days in the library, was dragged out by friends for a much-needed night of socializing. Meanwhile, Dallen, who had been playing football in California, was visiting Utah for a short off-season break and had been convinced by his friends to join the fun. Their interaction was brief, less than ten minutes, but Dallen’s charisma and nonegotistical confidence left a lasting impression on Meredith. She recalls, “I resigned myself to the reality that I would likely never see him again, but the next morning, I woke up to a flirty DM from this charming stranger.” What started as a casual encounter soon blossomed into a whirlwind romance, and ten months later, Dallen proposed, marking the beginning of their forever.
Meredith and Dallen planned a romantic, elegant wedding at Meredith’s parents’ Alpine home for over 350 guests, drawing inspiration from Meredith’s love of French culture, literature and timeless beauty. With a dream of a refined affair, she envisioned a celebration with French influences, think subtle blue toile, soft gold accents and lush floral arrangements that felt like a midsummer night’s dream. The florals, which included peonies, hydrangeas and minimalist blooms, created a vibrant, colorful atmosphere.
Meredith’s bridal style drew inspiration from her longtime icons: Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel. Her wedding dress, a stunning creation by Anne Barge from Frankie Jane Couture Bridal, featured a low, rounded neckline with soft pleats. She paired it with satin blue heels and a pearl choker. After their first dance, Meredith changed into a more relaxed yet sophisticated reception look, staying true to her style with lace details and a swooped back. As the evening unfolded under the romantic lighting of chandeliers and the night sky, Meredith and Dallen danced the night away.

Tyra and Julian’s paths first crossed at a bar in Utah during Julian’s off-season for the Indianapolis Colts. Their initial interaction was brief, but fate stepped in when Tyra’s Utah Jazz Dancer photo popped up on Julian’s Instagram. After recognizing her from that night, he reached out, and soon after, they were on their first date. Just eight months later, Julian proposed during a trip to Singapore. After a day of shopping and sightseeing, they took a walk by the harbor where Julian set up a camera to “take pictures” and, as Tyra recalls, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The couple planned a whimsical, garden-inspired wedding day at La Caille for over 400 of their family and friends.
Both Tyra and Julian custom-designed their wedding attire, ensuring their looks were both personal and exquisite. Tyra glided down the colorful, floral-lined ceremony aisle in her off-the-shoulder satin gown, accented with lace sleeves that perfectly complemented the whimsical aesthetic of the day. As her grandfather united them in matrimony beneath a stunning floral arch, the moment was nothing short of magical. A unique element was the bridesmaids, each carrying a bouquet with a single type of flower in hues that perfectly matched their dresses. As the evening unfolded with vibrant music and dancing, Tyra changed into a pearllined mini dress by Retrofête, paired with Dolce Vita shoes. In a celebration rich with cultural significance, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed an array of entertainment that honored their heritage, from a lively mariachi band and traditional Hawaiian dances to Julian’s groomsmen performing the powerful Siva Tau. Later, Tyra danced the Taualuga, or ‘The Money Dance,’ a symbolic conclusion to a monumental event.

While Lexy and Michael initially met via mutual friends, it wasn’t until they officially matched on Hinge that they decided to go on a date. After four years together, the couple planned a trip to Italy. Little did Lexy know, Michael had something far more meaningful in store. On their first night in Florence, he planned a romantic proposal, arranging a private dinner and photographer at their villa just before sunset. Though they considered returning to Italy for an intimate elopement, they ultimately chose to celebrate in Park City at Trestle Creek Ranch, Michael’s parents’ property where they had spent countless summers and holidays. With the help of Wild Heart Events, Lexy and Michael brought their vision of an enchanting “Forest Formal” garden wedding to life, surrounded by 112 of their closest friends and family.
“Take your time! Don’t overthink your dress and your look. You’ll most likely want to look back and look like yourself so that means if you want simple, don’t second guess if you ‘should’ be doing more for your look. Go with your gut. Also, decide together how much outside influence/opinions you want to take or don’t. This is your day!”
Lexy and Michael said “I do” in a breathtaking greenhouse built just for them, surrounded by towering trees and golden sunlight streaming through the glass walls. Lexy wore a custom Tom Sebastian gown adorned with intricate floral appliqué, while Michael looked dapper in a classic black tux. As she walked down the aisle to “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last, her flowing train trailed behind her, creating a picture-perfect moment. Reflecting on the day, Lexy recalled her favorite moment of the ceremony, getting to the altar. “I barely made it down the aisle, bawling my eyes out, it was totally unexpected!” she said. To add a special touch to the day, the couple chose to incorporate a ring blessing, where family members took a moment to hold and bless the couple’s wedding bands before they exchanged vows.
After sealing the deal with a kiss, the newlyweds and their guests followed a lantern-lit path to a magical reception. Beneath a clear-top tent, cascading floral installations of greenery and wispy blooms created the illusion of an enchanted forest. The tables were draped in textured linens with modern black flatware, ceramic plates and delicate floral arrangements in earthy hues. Following dinner, the celebration moved into high gear. Lexy changed into a sparkly feather-trimmed mini dress, perfect for dancing the night away under the stars. A sleek rattan bar served signature cocktails, while guests enjoyed Mediterranean wraps and pita chips for a late-night snack.

Destany and Jaron met as two young middle schoolers attending a high school wrestling match. Though sparks were flying, life had other plans and Jaron moved away, leaving their connection as nothing more than a sweet, lingering crush. Nine years later, Jaron moved back and reached out to Destany via social media, and the pair began dating shortly after. Early in their relationship, Jaron would jokingly suggest running away to Las Vegas, Nevada, to get married, and one night, Destany decided to call his bluff. She packed a bag with two white dresses and a pair of heels, and Jaron zipped up her suitcase, placed it in his truck, and waited by the car door for her to jump in. “I nervously got in to ‘elope in Vegas,’” Destany shared, laughing.
They didn’t make it far, pulling into a Shell gas station where it began to rain. Jaron cranked up the music, stepped out of the truck and invited Destany to dance in the rain, a moment so magical it felt straight out of a movie. “It was the moment I knew I really did want to marry him,” she said. Months later, Jaron proposed in that very same spot, again dancing in the rain, before getting down on one knee to ask Destany to spend forever with him. “It was so special and so on-brand for us,” Destany said. Destany and Jaron planned an intimate wedding with just 22 guests in attendance at a spot both grew up visiting, Bear Lake. Surrounded by towering evergreens and serene waters, their ceremony at the lake felt like something out of a fairytale. Destany’s whimsical vision came to life with sage and lavender burning bouquets carried by her bridesmaids, while Jaron and his groomsmen sported boutonnieres of handpicked wildflowers. A natural, earthy color palette blended seamlessly with their surroundings, while a minimalist cake adorned with dried oranges and berries set the stage for a playful cake smash. The day ended with an unforgettable moment as Destany and Jaron leaped into the frigid, crystal-clear waters as husband and wife on the lake’s iconic rope swing, a highlight Destany described as pure magic.
“As much as I didn’t want to give up control of every little thing, I was much happier when I did. Wedding planning consumed me and I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Which was a little sad. I wanted the day to be so perfect but I was making myself crazy by controlling everything. Everything was perfect even after I let go of the control and I was a lot happier bride.”

It was my shoes. Obviously we were in the mountains and I needed to be comfortable, so I found the best pair of ballet flats from Rothy’s. They were cute, feminine AND comfy. But that’s not even the best part...I forgot to pack my shoes for the rehearsal dinner and so I wore my wedding flats and probably not even five minutes into wearing them Jaron accidentally spilled red wine one them. My mother in law swooped in and saved the day. Thirty minutes in the washing machine they were brand new again. I loved them so much that I have recently purchased another pair.

We loved every single one of our vendors!
But specifically, our Photographer and Videographer were amazing.
I had an idea to do a virtual “We Eloped” announcement instead of the traditional save the date. We filmed that two months before our wedding as our bridals and then we sent it out in a mass email at 11:11am which was while our ceremony was happening. Our photographer came along to the bridal video and shot a roll of film for us and it’s so special!

Kylie and Justin first met as students at the University of Alabama. Kylie recalls, “Justin first noticed me working at the Rec our freshman year, but instead of saying hello in person, he slid into my DMs on Instagram, which I promptly ignored!” It wouldn’t be until five years later, after both had graduated and found themselves in Atlanta, Georgia, that they reconnected and quickly realized they were meant to be together. Just a year and a half into their relationship, Justin surprised Kylie with a proposal in Park City. They were heading to dinner when Justin suggested they take a detour to Empire Pass to enjoy the views. While there, a woman asked Kylie to take her photo, unbeknownst to her, the woman was actually the photographer Justin had secretly hired. Afterward, Justin shared his heartfelt proposal, and as Kylie stood in shock, their family and friends emerged from hiding to celebrate the moment.

Every vendor was truly amazing! They all went above and beyond for us.
Kylie and Justin chose Tag Ranch for their wedding, inviting just over 100 of their closest friends and family to celebrate amidst the breathtaking 360-degree views of the Utah mountains. Kylie shared, “I wanted to capture the colorful, vibrant spirit of a mountain wedding, evoking the beauty of nature in full bloom against the stunning Utah landscape!” To bring this vision to life, the bridesmaids wore a mix of pastel spring colors, while Kylie’s bouquet and the al fresco dining table were adorned with minimalist blooms in a vibrant array of colors. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed delicious bites from a taco truck, live watercolor portraits as keepsakes and lively tunes spun by DJ Luva Luva under the bright night stars.
“For couples getting married, I have two big pieces of advice! First, always remember that your wedding is a celebration of you and your spouse. Everyone will have thoughts and suggestions, but focus on what you both want and love, and don’t let outside influences steer you away from your vision. Second, make sure you truly love your vendors! You’ll be working alongside them closely, and their support and energy will help make your day perfect. Surround yourselves with people who understand your style and vision, and you’ll create memories that last a lifetime!”

Staci & Aaron
Staci and Aaron met at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner, followed by a lively night of dancing at a Justin Timberlake concert. Sparks flew, and after shutting down the Grand America Hotel bar, Aaron made a bold move by walking into the women’s restroom to steal a kiss. From that moment, their connection was undeniable. Four years later, during a two-week, four-country adventure across Asia, Aaron proposed on a beautifully lit pathway in Vietnam, leading Staci into a romantic, candlelit space where he got down on one knee. When she said “Yes!,” the celebration continued with a traditional Vietnamese ring blessing ceremony, marking the beginning of their next chapter together.
With their shared love for the mountains, Staci and Aaron chose to exchange vows at Elk Meadows at Sundance Resort, a breathtaking alpine meadow, where they hosted an elevated, mountain-chic celebration for 144 guests. Their wedding weekend unfolded over three days, beginning with a rehearsal dinner featuring a Jamestown Revival performance, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration. On the wedding day, Staci walked down the aisle in a custom Galia Lahav gown to the tune of “Paradise” by Justin Timberlake, a nod to the night they first met.
As the sun dipped behind the mountains, the celebration moved into Sundance Resort’s Rehearsal Hall, where a golden glow illuminated the space, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. The reception design seamlessly blended rustic charm with refined elegance. Candlelit tablescapes featured lush peach and blush florals intertwined with greenery, while suspended twinkle lights and cascading florals added a dreamy touch overhead. Cozy lounge seating nestled against the trees offered guests a relaxed space to soak in the magic of the evening. Later in the night, Staci changed into a white fringe mini dress for the high-energy after-party at the Redford Center, where a DJ kept the dance floor packed.

Our florist was absolutely phenomenal. We only had a few calls and meetings with her and I was absolutely blown away the entire wedding weekend. She was able to bring our vision to life in a way I could not even imagine.
The best of the best was Mara with Fuse Weddings & Events.
She was the admiral of it all. Always available and willing to share what worked well in the past and what didn’t. She was and is the best, most thoughtful and methodical about the entire planning. When it came to our wedding weekend...five events over three days, she was always present, available and engaged on every aspect. The best part of the wedding was having Mara plan and execute it all. She knew what we were going to pick as far as vendors, etc. before we did. AMAZING!!!
“Hire an experienced wedding planner! I could never imagine planning and executing our wedding without the leadership of Mara and her team. I did not feel one ounce of stress on the actual wedding day and the entire weekend just ran so smoothly. Mara was an absolute angel to work with and I knew we were in the very best hands.”

BOULDER - BOULDER MOUNTAIN GUEST RANCH
Destinee and Jake first met during a rock climbing trip with friends, where Jake’s quick thinking and bravery left a lasting impression. When Destinee fell into a river, Jake saved her from a dangerous rapid, even falling in himself to ensure her safety. Eight and a half years later, during a snowy getaway in Crested Butte, Colorado, Jake decided to pop the question. While cross-country skiing, their dog, Lupine, carried a small black bag around his neck containing an engagement ring. As Jake skied up behind her, Destinee realized what was happening and Jake got down on one knee to ask her to be his wife.
The couple planned a garden party-inspired wedding at the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch. Destinee embraced comfort and whimsy in her bridal look, wearing a flowy, longsleeved gown paired with Birkenstock sandals, while Jake embraced his farming roots with a blue suit and bolo tie. Their ceremony was a breathtaking showcase of their life as flower farmers, featuring a vibrant floral arch made with sunflowers, dahlias and an array of other flowers. Following the ceremony, Destinee and Jake treated guests to homemade dishes featuring ingredients they grew themselves, lively music by The Patty Briggs Band and dancing under the stars. As the evening continued, they welcomed the entire town to join the festivities, doubling their guest count for an unforgettable party.

Maybe instead, the favorite thing we made for our wedding! The flower arch! I made it the morning of the wedding with a childhood friend and it was such a fun and amazing way to start my day, Jake made the wooden frame the week before. It was so great to see the arch up in all of its glory all day.

Well a definite shout out to Salty Dog Farm (us, lol). The flowers were everything we dreamed of and were really a highlight for the wedding. It was amazing to do our first look at our farm, a special and beautiful location! It was also so fun and yummy to share the food we grew with our guests.
Boulder Bread did our welcome party, like a rehearsal dinner but everyone was invited. They brought their mobile wood oven and we had the party the night before at our house. It was so fun that they came here, so we got to hang out at our farm so our guests could see a little more into our lives. And the pizza was just to die for. They used ingredients from the farm too which made it extra fun. We cannot say enough great things about them!
And Kayla Bertagnolli, our photographer, was also a highlight of the whole thing. She is so talented and professional. She has turned into a great friend through this whole process, and we cannot say enough great things about how incredible our pictures turned out. They are everything we could have hoped for!
“Enjoy your engagement! Planning a wedding is a lot of work and stress, but don’t forget what the whole point of your planning is: that you are planning a party to celebrate your love and that you found the person you want to spend your life with.”
Melissa and Josh’s love story began on Bumble, though they soon discovered they worked at the same company. “Had it not been for a dating app, we probably would’ve never dated as neither of us was scoping our place of work for people to date,” the couple shared with a laugh. After dating for a year and a half, Josh proposed at home, surrounded by their dogs, Chloe and Logan. As he got down on one knee, the sunset painted the sky in hues reminiscent of the opal in Melissa’s engagement ring. The couple’s devotion to their furry family members guided their venue choice, Natural History Museum of Utah, ensuring their pups could stand by their side as they said “I do.”
Melissa’s choice of a stunning blue gown inspired the day’s elegant color palette, with shades of blue woven throughout the wedding party’s attire, paired with gold and chartreuse in the bridesmaids’ chic, on-trend dresses. The ceremony florals, designed by Natalie Cruz of The Petal Coop, were a colorful mix of blue hydrangeas, blush and peach roses and ivory anthuriums, creating a fresh and whimsical aesthetic. Touches of the couple’s Chinese and spiritual heritages, such as the double happiness symbol, were also woven throughout the day, adding a personal layer to their celebration. The floral arrangements perfectly complemented the sleek, modern architecture of the museum, with its towering glass windows reflecting the majestic Wasatch Mountains, creating a breathtaking backdrop for their vows. As the evening unfolded, guests dined on a delicious spread by Culinary Crafts while basking in the glow of a beautiful sunset, a fitting end to a day filled with the couple’s favorite things.
One thing you had to have as a couple
Having our dogs be a part of it. That’s a big reason we chose to get married at the Natural History Museum of Utah. We also love the outdoors, and the views from the museum, especially at sunset.

The center stone in my ring is from Opals Down Under; they were amazing to work with in helping us select the perfect stone. Shout out to Jess and her dog Gemma at Opals Down Under.
Nicole at Pink Seams is our seamstress. Pink Seams is amazing. Nicole is so incredibly talented. She went above and beyond to make significant alterations in the final hours. Shout out to Nicole and her dog Cleo.
Alora Lani, our photogrpaher. We met through a friend from work who was getting married a few weeks before us. After hearing how much Alora took care of our friend, even before she was hired, we had to meet her ourselves. We had an instant connection for Alora that we thought of her more as a friend than our photographer at our wedding. We still remain friends and look forward to more projects in the future.
Natalie Cruz at The Petal Coop is an amazing florist. She is incredibly talented and the flowers were so fresh and stunning.
Natural History Museum of Utah was so wonderful to work with. We felt they truly cared about us and wanted to make our day special. They were very accommodating. Shout out to Sam and Calista at NHMU.

Having first met at work, Abbie and Nick’s relationship began with casual conversations and laughter during breaks, later evolving into latenight talks and shared moments that deepened their connection. In 2022, they realized they were more than just friends. Just a year and a half into dating, Nick proposed in Kauai, Hawaii, on a dock overlooking a peaceful bay. But as soon as he got down on one knee, the moment was humorously interrupted by a few cars pulling up with music blasting. Once the proposal was complete, the cars mysteriously drove off, almost as though they’d been waiting for their cue. Abbie recalls, “It was the perfect mix of romance and comedy, making the memory even more unforgettable.” In just a few short months, Abbie and Nick planned an intimate French Country-inspired celebration at La Caille.
The ceremony took place on the vineyard lawns, where guests gathered in elegant French Louis chairs to witness Abbie and Nick’s vows. The aisle was lined with lush hydrangeas in soft green and white, adding a romantic touch to the sophisticated setting. Abbie, in a timeless Katherine Tash gown with sleek lines, walked toward Nick, who looked every bit the classic groom in his tuxedo from The Black Tux. As Abbie reflects, “On our wedding day, our outfits felt like a perfect reflection of us. The dress was everything I had dreamed of and made me feel truly myself. Together, our outfits felt both intentional and natural, elevating the day while staying true to who we are.”

My favorite investment we made was definitely in a content creator. Hiring a talented content creator to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made. Their skillful eye and creative vision beautifully documented the day, allowing us to relive every precious moment through stunning photos and videos. It was such a meaningful investment because it not only preserved the memories but also brought our special day to life in a way we could share with friends, family and even future generations. Having those memories captured perfectly was priceless.

A special mention goes to our incredible day-of coordinator, Ruby Jane Events, and our talented florist, Poppy Lane Floral. Ruby Jane Events played a crucial role in ensuring everything ran smoothly, allowing us to truly enjoy our special day without a hitch. Her attention to detail and calm presence made a world of difference, turning our vision into reality with seamless execution. And Poppy Lane Floral— wow, the floral installations, every arrangement was beautifully crafted and added so much to the overall ambiance of the day. We are so grateful for their expertise and the amazing touches they brought to our wedding.
The reception, held in The Grand Atrium, seamlessly blended indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing the celebration to continue with the soothing sound of live music by the reflection pool and cozy lounge seating that encouraged conversation to flow. Abbie shares, “The highlight of our reception was definitely the beauty of the space and sharing a wonderful dinner with everyone we loved the most. It felt like stepping into a dream with everything perfectly set up, beautiful florals, soft lighting and all the little details we had carefully chosen.”

“I would highly recommend hiring a wedding planner or at least a day-of coordinator. There’s absolutely no way we could have executed our vision without ours, Ruby Jane Events. Having someone dedicated to managing all the details, handling logistics and troubleshooting any issues that arose allowed us to fully enjoy our special day without stress. Julie was a lifesaver, she took care of everything so we could focus on the meaningful moments and celebrate with our loved ones. If I had to do it all over again, having a wedding planner or coordinator would be at the top of my list. They truly made our day perfect and stress-free.”
Claire and Josh, married in 2021, purchased their first home together during their third year of marriage. They chose to celebrate the milestone with anniversary photos that felt like home. The couple chose a nearby field, a place Claire had always dreamed of doing a photoshoot at, to capture sweet moments with their adorable dog. The session ended with a celebratory toast at their new home with pizza, cake and countless candles, all gathered around Claire’s grandmother’s antique kitchen table. Photographer, and neighbor, Morgan Spruill of In Frames Photography shared, “When Claire and I discussed the vision for the session, we aimed for the feeling of the final scene in 16 Candles. After we settled on that idea, Claire mentioned she was actually named after Molly Ringwald’s character in The Breakfast Club, making the 80s movie inspiration even more fitting. I’ll always be a sucker for the nostalgic vibe.”
“Go for it! I think that if you know, you truly do know and being in love has a special way of making most things work out. At the end of the day, it’s who you go home with that matters. Being in love with your best friend makes all of the hard days easier and the easy days even better. It’s not always sunshine and rainbows, but together we can do anything.”

Jenna and Chaz’s story began in college where they started as friends while navigating other relationships. Over time, Chaz’s persistence won Jenna over, proving she deserved something better.
After four eventful years together, Chaz proposed during a trip to the breathtaking Adirondacks. While Jenna was setting up her camera to capture a beautiful moment at Pleasant Lake, Chaz quietly snuck off to retrieve the ring from his boot. As they posed for a photo, he asked to take the shot and then popped the question, all while snapping pictures of the unforgettable moment.
To celebrate three years of marriage, the couple chose to commemorate their love through an activity they enjoy together—horseback riding. Jenna shared, “We love the West! Utah, in particular, has always held a special place in our hearts. There’s something about the state that stands out above the rest. The scenery changes so much throughout the state, and we truly love it every time we visit.”
For their anniversary shoot, Jenna and Chaz wore cowboy hats from Burns in Park City, Utah, each branded with the name of the ranch they built together, Triple H Ranch. Their hats added a personal touch to the session, symbolizing the life they’ve built together.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Make time in life’s craziness to do something you both love or are passionate about. For us, that’s horseback riding, it’s the perfect reset and always brings us closer.”

Lacey and Brad’s love story started with a swipe. While Brad was snowmobiling through Idaho and Lacey was living in a rural corner of Oregon, the dating app Bumble brought them together. After weeks of chatting online, they decided to meet for a hiking adventure in Utah, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Three years later, Brad planned a proposal in the vibrant streets of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Surrounded by friends and under the guise of a couple’s photoshoot, he popped the question and Lacey was completely caught completely surprised. Fast forward to their anniversary, and the couple finally fulfilled a bucket list item: capturing their love with their furry companions, Tuf and Doc, at the breathtaking Bonneville Salt Flats by photographer Nicole Catherine Photos.
“The goal we set from the very beginning was never to be perfect, but to get better every day. I truly think this mindset has made it so that every year together has gotten easier, and we spend more time having fun and little to no time getting upset.”
A wedding gown is more than just a dress, it’s a reflection of personal style, confidence and the moment a bride steps into forever. Renee Atelier, a newly launched bridal boutique in Salt Lake City, is redefining the wedding dress shopping experience with fashion-forward designs that embrace individuality, artistry and sustainability. “We wanted to create an upscale boutique that highlights ethical and innovative designers,” shares the team at Renee Atelier. “Our mission is to provide brides with exceptionally unique, high-quality gowns, sustainably made by artisans around the globe.”
Bridal fashion is undergoing an exciting shift, with twopiece sets, drop waists, bold colors and sleek silhouettes in luxe fabrics leading the way. “The dress you choose might just surprise you!” says the team at Renee Atelier. “Many brides come in thinking they know exactly what they want, but staying flexible is key. If a gown makes you feel radiant and excited to embark on this new journey, it just might be the one.”
“One of the most underrated details that makes a gown feel extra special is comfort,” shares Renee Atelier. The Greta Gown by Bo & Luca is a perfect example. Crafted from stretch viscose satin, this bias-cut slip drapes effortlessly over the body, offering both elegance and ease. Delicate straps enhance its refined simplicity, while a softly draped cowl back adds a touch of movement. Designed for the modern minimalist, this gown proves that sophistication and comfort can go hand in hand.
The Hazel Gown by OUMA is a show-stopping blend of structure and movement. Crafted from silk white Mikado, this statement A-line gown features a peek-a-boo twisted bodice, a voluminous gathered skirt with a ruffled edge and a subtle leg slit for just the right amount of drama. Detachable puff sleeves offer a second look, taking the bride from ceremony to reception in effortless style.
For brides seeking the perfect balance of structure and softness, the Clara Gown by Alexandra Grecco delivers. Designed in silk satin crepe or matte fabric, its strapless drop-waist corset bodice creates a striking silhouette. Known for heirloom-quality craftsmanship, Alexandra Grecco effortlessly blends romance and artistry in every stitch.
For those craving a delicate and romantic look, the Thierry Gown by OUMA offers a regal silhouette with a high-neck Chantilly lace collar and a free-flowing satin skirt. Effortlessly romantic, this gown blends vintage charm with modern grace.
Where contemporary couture meets effortless cool, the Crillon Gown by Rime Arodaky stuns with its asymmetrical silhouette and custom “petit bouquet” jacquard satin. A draped bandeau bodice with corsetinspired boning offers structure, while the high-low skirt creates striking movement. Removable cap sleeves add versatility, making it the perfect choice for a civil ceremony or city elopement. For those ready to embrace a fashionforward look, Renee Atelier encourages stepping outside the box. “No style is truly timeless, so live in the moment and be inspired by what excites you,” they say. At Renee Atelier, every dress blends flattering silhouettes with bold, unforgettable details.
