THE WEDDING LOOKED EFFORTLESS... IT WAS ANYTHING BUT.

What the photo doesn’t show is everything it took to get there. More than fifty band members traveled in from five countries. The design required a seven-day load-in with layers of construction, production, and installation. Some of the earliest inspiration came from AI imagery that ignored gravity and logistics entirely. Our job was to figure out how to make it real anyway.

By the time that curtain opened, our team had solved countless problems, worked through a 22-hour day, adjusted plans, advocated for our clients, and checked every detail again and again. None of that was what I wanted the couple thinking about. I wanted them to see their wedding. That is what an exceptional planner and designer gives you: judgment, transparency, advocacy, trust, and the ability to make something incredibly complex feel effortless. The photo shows the reveal. What you are really hiring Irene + Co Events for is everything that happened before I opened the curtain.

Photography by Heather Nan

In the photo, Irene + Co Events is almost easy to miss. The couple is walking into their ballroom for the first time, and I am a few steps behind them, opening the curtain for the reveal. It captures our role perfectly: just outside the moment, making it possible.

HAILEY + DEAN Hailey and Dean first met while Dean was building Hailey’s home. What started as a friendship quickly grew into something more. As they like to joke, Dean quite literally built the house, but together they built a life. When it came time to propose, Dean chose an intimate setting at his cabin, where he asked Hailey to marry him with a custom-designed engagement ring featuring a blue-green diamond, carefully selected to match the color of her eyes. Ahead of their wedding celebration in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple traveled to the Bonneville Salt Flats for an engagement session. From a romantic floral gown and flowing cape to a vintage-inspired getaway scene in a classic convertible and portraits on Dean’s motorcycle, each look reflected a different side of the couple’s style.

HALLE + MASON

28

rockymountainbride.com / rocky mountain bride utah fall & winter 2026

Halle and Mason met six years ago through mutual friends, but at the time, neither of them were available for a relationship. Over the years, their paths continued to cross until timing finally aligned and they decided to take a chance on a first date, which quickly turned into over three hours of talking, drinking wine, laughing and eventually closing the place down. From that night on, they were inseparable. Months before Mason’s 30th birthday trip to Maui, Hawaii, he began quietly planning a proposal. The day before, rain poured nonstop as they spent hours at the hotel bar, with Mason repeatedly checking the weather, raising a bit of suspicion. Just as they headed to dinner, the skies cleared, and as they walked down to the restaurant, Halle spotted an elaborate floral setup and instantly knew what was about to happen. With a florist, photographer and videographer there to capture the moment in one of her favorite places, Mason got down on one knee and asked Halle to be his forever. For their engagement session, the couple embraced one of the season’s most striking trends, bringing dramatic drapery into the outdoors at Guardsman Pass. Set against golden fall foliage, rich wine-toned fabric and florals created a bold, high-fashion contrast to the natural landscape.

LAURA + ANDREW

32

rockymountainbride.com / rocky mountain bride utah fall & winter 2026

Laura and Andrew’s story began halfway across the world in Bali, Indonesia, an unforgettable setting that feels fitting for a relationship rooted in adventure. After about a year of dating, Andrew planned an elevated proposal, bringing Laura to the top of a snow-covered mountain in Park City. During a day spent snowmobiling beneath crystal blue skies, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife, proving that no distance or mountain was too great to conquer together. Wrapped in sleek all-black snow gear with the Wasatch peaks stretching endlessly around them, the moment felt both thrilling and intimate.

36

rockymountainbride.com / rocky mountain bride utah fall & winter 2026

Klaudia and Ryan met while working at the same venue in downtown Chicago, Illinois, and quickly realized they had far more in common than just their workplace. Though they lived about an hour apart, Ryan always made the effort to see her, whether it was a spontaneous dinner, a walk around the city or simply hanging out at each other’s homes. On one of their first dates, he found himself completely captivated, later realizing in that quiet moment that their lives were meant to intertwine. Just before their three-year anniversary, Ryan planned an unforgettable proposal at Perry’s Steakhouse, timed to Klaudia’s birthday. What felt like a typical dinner quickly turned into something more as a slice of cake arrived with a sparkling ring, Ryan walked to her side, got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife, surrounded by cheers from the restaurant and his parents capturing the moment nearby.

MATISON + GATLIN

40

rockymountainbride.com / rocky mountain bride utah fall & winter 2026

Matison and Gatlin first met five years ago while playing sand volleyball, though the timing wasn’t quite right as Gatlin was in another relationship. A few years later, the two reconnected and quickly realized what they had was something special. A little over a year later, Gatlin planned a thoughtful proposal at one of their favorite spots, Cascade Springs, inviting Matison and her two pups along for what felt like a simple evening walk. What she didn’t realize was that he had secretly attached a dog tag to one of the pups that read, “Will you marry me?” and arranged for a friend to hide nearby, capturing every moment as he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Just days later, Matison came across a photo of her great-great-grandmother standing on the very same bridge where they got engaged, a meaningful and unexpected connection that felt like a quiet, heartfelt blessing from someone she’s always held close.

Kara & Ellen

44

rockymountainbride.com / rocky mountain bride utah fall & winter 2026

Kara and Ellen met while attending graduate school at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Three years later, the two proposed to each other at the very same moment while walking their dog through their favorite park. With Kara raised in Utah and Ellen having spent her childhood winters skiing at Deer Valley, Park City felt like the obvious choice for their wedding. With the help of Rachel of Canvas Weddings, Kara and Ellen planned a New Year’s Eve celebration for 130 guests at Stein Eriksen Lodge.

46

rockymountainbride.com / rocky mountain bride utah fall & winter 2026

Against a backdrop of snow-covered mountains and blue skies, Kara and Ellen exchanged vows during an outdoor ceremony filled with white florals. Both brides wore Lela Rose gowns paired with white Blundstone boots, later changing into playful second looks and Lucchese boots for the reception. The evening included sleigh rides, a show-stopping performance by magician, Ben Jackson, and a champagne sabrage honoring Ellen’s family tradition. As midnight approached, the newlyweds joined their guests beneath glittering disco balls before ringing in the new year with a kiss and a burst of gold confetti.

Malia & Jesus

Malia and Jesus first met while working at neighboring tattoo shops, quietly drawn to one another but hesitant to blur the line between work and something more. It wasn’t until a group outing to a haunted house the following October that everything shifted, and from that night on, they were inseparable. Four years later, during a trip to California with their toddler, Jesus planned a simple evening at the beach, setting up a tripod for photos before pulling her in for a long hug and getting down on one knee as the sun set, while a few surfers nearby cheered them on. When it came time to plan their wedding, the two kept coming back to a place that had stuck with them from a past road trip, Capitol Reef’s Cathedral Valley. Drawn to its remoteness, they chose to exchange vows at the Temple of the Sun at sunrise, with just the two of them and their daughter.

We kept getting people saying that they aren’t comfortable with the lining of it, and they don’t have in-house digitizers for custom designs such as ours. We finally found a husband and wife in home embroidery duo who was absolutely amazing, we shipped Jesus’ pants and had them back in a week. Their company is Dr. Thread Embroidery.

Cameron & Ryan

rockymountainbride.com / rocky mountain bride utah fall & winter 2026

Cameron and Ryan met during their junior year of college when they became roommates in a fraternity house, living just two doors down from each other. Eleven years later, Ryan planned a proposal at The Grove, one of their favorite places in Los Angeles, California. To ensure Cameron arrived dressed for the occasion without raising suspicion, he recruited her manager and agent to invite her to a fancy work dinner with entertainment executives. Cameron even invited Ryan along, completely unaware that there was no dinner at all. Beneath The Grove’s nightly holiday snowfall, Ryan dropped to one knee and asked Cameron to marry him. After taking a moment to realize what was happening, Cameron gave him an easy “Yes!” Cameron and Ryan went on to plan a castlecore wedding where old-world charm met dreamy winter romance for 155 guests at Wadley Farms.

I went with red as a nod to Valentine’s Day. SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE “Timber” by Pitbull ft. Kesha LATE NIGHT SNACKS Pizza and popcorn bar VENDOR LOVE There were so many great vendors that helped us pull this off. The few that come to mind are of course our planner, Rachel Peterson of Canvas Wedding & Events. She was with us every step of the way and helped us get the details just right. Our talented photographer, Shannon Yen, who fought through illness to be there. Our caterer, Wooden Horse, who curated a delicious menu and was very careful to work around some very specific dietary restrictions. Our videographer Jared Wortley and our content creator Ashley Wortley who not only captured our most precious memories but took time to meet with us ahead of time and indulged us in our out-of-thebox ideas. Our bakery, Dionne’s Bakery, who set up a spectacular dessert table. And our venue, Wadley Farms, for allowing us to customize the weekend perfectly.

For the ceremony, Cameron wore a breathtaking Nicole + Felicia sweetheart satin basque-waist ball gown, while Ryan looked classic in a black tuxedo from Suitsupply. In a nod to Valentine’s Day, the day of their wedding, Cameron’s bridesmaids wore chic crimson halter gowns paired with white faux-fur wraps, while her bridesman coordinated in a matching suit. Inside Wadley Farms, flickering candles lined the ceremony aisle and filled the reception tables, casting a romantic glow against the venue’s stone walls and dark wood beams. White florals and cascading greenery framed the fireplace for the ceremony, carrying the winter-white palette throughout the day. Later that evening, Cameron continued the Valentine’s Day theme by slipping into a red lace dress to dance the night away.

Jessie & Eduardo

63

Jessie and Eduardo met, like many modern couples do, on a dating app, but their first date felt anything but ordinary. The two set out on a scenic drive before ending the evening with a homemade Brazilian dinner that Eduardo thoughtfully prepared. It’s safe to say he quickly won her over. Two years later, knowing how much she loved the mountains and water, Eduardo decided it was time to ask Jessie to be his wife. After gathering wildflowers along the roadside and arranging them into a bouquet, he led her to Silver Lake near Brighton, where, surrounded by mountain views and with her sister-in-law quietly capturing the moment, he got down on one knee. Ready to start their forever together, in just over a month, the two planned an intimate mountain elopement with 25 of their closest friends and family.

Set against the mountains of Huntsville, their day embraced a wild and carefree spirit from start to finish. Guests arrived dressed in their fanciest attire, adding a playful contrast to the natural setting, while Jessie chose a flowy gown that felt effortless and free. Just as the ceremony began, rain rolled in, sending everyone running toward the altar together, a spontaneous and unforgettable moment that set the tone for the day. The rain passed, and everyone gathered to enjoy an alfresco Brazilian-inspired dinner by Tucanos Brazilian Grill, a meaningful nod to Eduardo’s roots. As guests sat down for dinner, they were each surprised with a personal note written by the couple, before ending the evening with a scrumptious red velvet cake.

What started as a quick airport distraction quickly turned into hours of conversation before the two moved from Tinder messages to texts, phone calls and FaceTime dates. At the time, Josh was living in the Dominican Republic while Joe was based in Salt Lake City, but the distance didn’t slow them down. The pair spent months getting to know each other through nonstop conversations and competitive iMessage games, where Joe still claims his undefeated Battleship title. When Josh returned to the United States for another layover in Salt Lake City, the two finally met in person for the first time before Joe later flew to the Dominican Republic to visit him. Three years later, Josh planned to propose, but after Joe’s favorite band announced a last-minute concert at Snowbasin, the proposal plans quickly pivoted. At the top of the mountain near Needles Lodge, Josh got down on one knee before the two celebrated with friends at the concert and an engagement party later that evening.

Wanting to celebrate in the place where their life together had truly taken root, Joe and Josh planned a mountain chic wedding in Sandy for 160 guests. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, the grooms wore black tuxedo pants paired with crisp white dinner jackets that felt timeless, sophisticated and fashion-forward before changing into black jackets for dinner and dancing later in the evening. Because the couple loves hosting, creating an intentional guest experience remained at the center of every decision throughout the weekend. In one of the night’s most memorable moments, Joe and Josh personally greeted guests during dinner service by roaming the reception with an oversized pepper grinder and giant cheese grater, offering freshly cracked pepper and parmesan for each salad course. Later in the evening, the energy shifted from elegant dinner party to full celebration when DJ Don Woodbury invited the newlyweds behind the DJ booth for a few songs, creating another favorite memory as they looked out over a packed dance floor filled with their closest friends and family.

THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE Beyond what the law requires, it is your wedding day and do not feel locked in by what traditions or the people around you demand. Weddings by their nature are community events and thus guest experience is obviously hugely important, but your guests know and love you. Guests are going to enjoy a wedding that feels authentic. On a practical note, trust your instincts and do not be afraid to ask for additional quotes or push back on vendors. At the same time, trust the years of experience your vendors are bringing to the table. If you really want to do something work with your vendor team to accomplish it. FAVORITE PURCHASE We both had “groom” Budgy Smuggler swim trunks (speedos) that we got for our bachelor party that were fun to use as underwear on our wedding day. NON-NEGOTIABLE We had a deck of cards with us that we played with before the ceremony with friends who got ready with us. It was an odd way to distract ourselves before the ceremony and calm down. AISLE SONG “Anywhere With You (Acoustic)” by Mat Kearney SIGNATURE COCKTAILS MoJo, a custom Dominican-based rum drink, Espresso Martini with pine simple syrup, Blueberry Bramble and spicy margaritas FIRST DANCE SONG “Lover” covered by the National Parks Band CAKE FLAVOR Freshly made hot apple cider donuts, delivered to the dance floor straight from the fryer. LATE NIGHT SNACKS Chicken tenders and pretzel bites VENDOR LOVE Morgan, with In Frames Photography, delivered some of the best wedding photos I have ever seen! Her real magic was how comfortable she made us feel taking photos. Joe especially is not always comfortable taking photos and Morgan not only helped him relax and get great photos she made the whole process a blast! There is a certain reality that couples are going to miss parts of their wedding day to get photos done and Morgan was able to make that a fun time away from everyone rather than feeling like an obligation dragging you away from the party. The Mecca Bar Co team is top-notch! From consoltation to execution, Sarah and her team were a delight to work with. Not having guests wait in long lines for a drink was a huge priority for us and they helped make that a reality. Our guests commented so much on the quality of the cocktails and how friendly the bar staff was. Marianne Hunt from Mille Fleur Design managed to take our vision and flawlessly make it a reality! Neither of us wanted flowers but wanted any decor we brought in to enhance the beauty of the mountains and the atrium at La Caille and Marianne nailed it! Not only was her greenery and other elements beautiful the entire venue smelled like a dream.

Kate and Jon first met on Hinge, and it didn’t take long for them to realize there was something special between them. Just one year later, Jon surprised Kate with a ski trip to Zermatt, Switzerland, where he proposed in front of the iconic Matterhorn, one of the world’s most recognizable alpine peaks. As Kate shared, “Skiing is one of our joint love languages, so this was absolutely perfect for our engagement.” The couple planned a wedding weekend inspired by their shared love of skiing. Deer Valley was a natural choice, offering the perfect blend of luxury and accessibility for the many guests traveling from New York while also bringing Kate back to her Utah roots. With the help of wedding planner Shannon Leahy, they welcomed 150 of their closest friends and family for an elevated celebration that blended alpine charm with modern winter minimalism. The wedding weekend kicked off with a rehearsal dinner at High West Saloon in downtown Park City, where the town’s rich Western heritage set the tone for the celebrations to come.

The wedding day began as Kate, Jon and more than 70 of their guests hit the slopes for a ski adventure through Deer Valley. Leaning into the couple’s love of vintage après-ski style, Kate looked effortlessly elegant in a pleated white skirt paired with a cashmere sweater, while Jon complemented the look in a classic black tuxedo. Later that afternoon, the couple exchanged vows at Stein Eriksen Lodge, where Kate changed into a high-neck lace Danielle Frankel gown and carried an airy bouquet of delicate white flowering branches that perfectly complemented the wedding’s modern winter aesthetic. Meanwhile, Jon looked dapper in a custom double-breasted crushed velvet suit by Brunello Cucinelli. Cozy details, including sheepskindraped ceremony chairs and warm apple cider served to guests, created an inviting atmosphere before everyone gathered inside for the reception. There, sweeping serpentine tables dressed in softly draped linens, winter white floral arrangements, glowing candlelight and layered textures transformed the space into an elegant alpine escape that felt both luxurious and welcoming.

Adrian & Will

Adrian and Will, like many modern love stories, began with a swipe on Hinge. Both had spent countless nights at the same favorite bars and restaurants throughout Denver, Colorado, somehow moving through the same city without ever crossing paths. They decided to meet up at Pony Up for their first date and ended up embarking on an impromptu bar crawl through the city they both loved. Four years later, Will proposed during the couple’s first trip to Japan together. On a sunny afternoon in the Shinjuku Botanical Gardens, he got down on one knee beside the ponds of one of Adrian’s favorite traditional Japanese gardens. After saying “Yes!,” Adrian shared, “We celebrated with incredible food and cocktails, and it was nothing short of magical.”

Britt Warnick and her team were instrumental in making everything come together, she understood my vision and helped execute it beautifully. Meg with Harvest Floral took my floral vision and made it something I genuinely couldn’t have imagined better. I love the arrangements so much that I have framed photos of them hanging in my home, that says it all. DJ Cooper Brown was phenomenal from start to finish. He didn’t just show up and play music, he offered guidance and tips for our officiant, ensured the ceremony flowed perfectly and kept every single person on the dance floor all night long, including a live saxophone that took the energy to another level. Alyssa Sorenson captured the day in the most perfect way; a beautiful blend of editorial and documentary style photography that tells the full story of our day. Her Super 8 video is something we will treasure forever. Morgan and Brooke, our makeup team, made me feel genuinely beautiful and confident from the moment they were done. And finally, Jamie at Goldener Hirsch was an absolute gem throughout the entire planning process; always helpful, always prepared and making sure every last detail was executed flawlessly on the day.

With the help of Britt Warnick Designs, Adrian and Will brought their vision of a Slim Aarons-inspired après-ski celebration to life at Goldener Hirsch. Adrian looked stunning in a Sarah Seven two-piece gown that seamlessly transformed for the reception with custom Pink Seams pants designed to mirror the fabric and feel of her dress, finished with a matching mantilla-style lace veil. Will complemented the elevated aesthetic in a custom suit with the couple’s initials embroidered onto the cuffs of his button-down, while even their dog, Benny, joined the celebration in a handmade leather collar and leash from Switzerland. In a meaningful nod to Adrian’s Japanese heritage, the couple also incorporated the tradition of folding 1,001 origami cranes, symbols of good wishes and fortune. Family members from both sides folded the cranes together before they were assembled into the shape of a crane and displayed at the wedding. Reflecting on the celebration, Adrian shared, “The food, the dancing, the people — it all came together beautifully. It was the dinner party of our dreams.”

Catherine Grace & Patrick rocky mountain bride utah fall & winter 2026 / rockymountainbride.com

Catherine Grace and Patrick met while living in Houston, Texas, and quickly hit it off. Their first date took place at a dog park bar, a memory Catherine Grace says “honestly set the tone for everything after that.” Nearly four years later, she was certain a proposal was around the corner when her best friend and husband came to visit. After being convinced it wasn’t happening anytime soon, Catherine Grace put the idea out of her mind. The very next day, however, Patrick surprised her at the top of Silver Dollar Trail in Georgetown, Colorado, with a proposal she never saw coming. The celebrations didn’t end there. Upon returning to Denver for what she thought was a simple sushi happy hour, Catherine Grace walked into a surprise engagement party filled with family and friends who had traveled from across the country to share in the moment.

THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE Do what feels like you. Let go of the rules, expectations and ‘shoulds,’ and focus on what actually makes you happy. Surround yourself with a strong support team, vendors you truly vibe with and trust and don’t be afraid to tighten your guest list if there are people who aren’t there to support you. Your wedding should feel like you from start to finish. FAVORITE PURCHASE Our favorite thing we bought for our wedding day was the flowers. I’m so glad I stretched our budget to include more florals than I originally planned, but honestly, I still wish we had done even more. They completely transformed the space and made everything feel so full, intentional and alive. We both wore our cowboy hats and walked out into the Christmas light–lit trees at the base of the ski resort while our guests rang bells around us. It felt like stepping into a winter fairytale. We walked out to “WHERE THE HELL IS MY HUSBAND?” by RAYE, which somehow felt perfectly fitting for the moment; fun, emotional, and full of joy as we left as husband and wife surrounded by everyone we love. VENDOR LOVE Our photographer, Kirstin, truly went above and beyond for us. She showed up not just as a vendor, but as our biggest cheerleader, pushing herself creatively and doing everything she could to make our entire weekend feel perfect. She was also one of the only people who could keep everyone calm, organized and grounded. She really took charge of the overall energy in the best way.

With the help of their planner and florist, Haus of Floral, Catherine Grace and Patrick planned a “Robert Redford-chic” wedding weekend at Sundance Mountain Resort. Friday’s welcome party embraced a bold western aesthetic with vibrant yellow details, while Saturday’s wedding day shifted into a richer palette of deep browns, purples and golden hues, creating a romantic atmosphere that remained rooted in the western spirit of Sundance. Patrick wore a white tuxedo jacket from local favorite, Smoke N’ Bra, paired with classic western details, while Catherine Grace chose a custom gown from Emma & Grace Bridal that was transformed by Donna Beth Creations into a one-of-a-kind design created to move seamlessly from skiing down the mountain to walking down the aisle. The couple completed their wedding-day looks with matching custom white rabbit cowboy hats from Kemo Sabe. Following their ceremony, the newlyweds boarded a chairlift back up the mountain to ski a few laps and capture portraits among the peaks. The quiet ride offered their first real moments alone as husband and wife, a memory they say they’ll never forget.

Together, Belle Bodas Events and Megan Robinson Photo dreamed up an elevated Western editorial at The St. Regis Deer Valley. Drawing inspiration from the contrast between refined Western details and the softness of the surrounding landscape, the design embraced a palette of taupe gray, espresso brown, muted pistachio and deep cedar. Framed by mountain views, a dramatic draped ceremony backdrop anchored the ceremony design, while natural wood chairs and restrained florals kept the focus exactly where it should be: on the couple.

The bride was undoubtedly the focal point of the design, wearing a sleek Alexandra Grecco gown with a dramatic open back and delicate lace-trimmed veil. An elegant low bun completed the look, allowing every detail of the gown to take center stage. While the editorial embraced Western influences throughout the décor, the bridal styling remained classic, showing how timeless fashion can feel right at home within a Western-inspired celebration. Beside her, the groom’s classic black tuxedo provided the perfect finishing touch.

For the reception, guests gathered around a serpentine tablescape that quickly became a conversation piece. Winding across the terrace, the unique layout encouraged conversation while taking full advantage of the mountain views and fresh alpine air. Rich espresso linens added depth and texture, while floral arrangements by Terra Flora Design incorporated grasses, greenery and seasonal elements inspired by the surrounding landscape. Aspen branches brought the outdoors directly into the tablescape, while cow-print menus added an unexpected pop of personality that perfectly balanced the editorial’s refined mountain aesthetic.

As the celebration transitioned into cocktail hour, a simple addition transformed the look: cowboy hats. Styled alongside a classic tuxedo and modern bridal gown, they showed just how naturally ranchinspired details can be incorporated into an elevated wedding day aesthetic. Martini-inspired cocktails offered a nod to the iconic St. Regis experience, while a sculptural cake by Lustr Creative brought a modern edge to the overall aesthetic. With its clean lines and contemporary details, the cake served as a striking finish to the editorial.

Inside the historic walls of Caffé Molise, wedding planner, Kaushay & Co. Events, reimagined familiar wedding trends through a fresh, unexpected lens, while photographer, Paige McKenzi, beautifully captured every detail. The venue’s soaring ceilings, exposed brick, artfilled interiors and iconic black-and-white checkered floors provided the perfect backdrop for a moody celebration where rich burgundy, lavender and crimson hues met sculptural florals, dramatic draping and contemporary styling. The result is a fresh reminder that inspiration doesn’t have to be copied, it can be reimagined into something uniquely your own.

Leaning into the editorial’s glamorous aesthetic, the bride wore a Julie Vino gown featuring a sculptural corset and clean, modern silhouette. She completed the look with layered diamond jewelry from O.C. Tanner, proving there’s no such thing as too much sparkle on your wedding day. Meanwhile, the groom looked timeless in a classic black tuxedo before ditching the bow tie, shedding the jacket and rolling up his sleeves for a more relaxed look that was ready for champagne towers, signature cocktails and a night on the dance floor.

Frosted Romance Surrounded by the snow-covered slopes of Mount Timpanogos, Sundance Mountain Resort provides an unforgettable backdrop for a winter wedding weekend, where towering pines, alpine lodges and breathtaking mountain views create an atmosphere that feels both inviting and romantic. Wedding planner, Ruby Jane Events, partnered with photographer, Whitney Hunt, to create an editorial inspired by the intersection of high-fashion luxury and the raw beauty of winter. Instead of traditional holiday décor, the design draws directly from the season itself, layering soft textures with a cool-toned palette inspired by the fading light at dusk.

The story begins long before guests arrive with an invitation suite that instantly establishes the tone for the celebration. Designed by Ruby Jane Events, the stationery pairs timeless typography with delicate watercolor artwork tucked inside the envelopes, creating an experience that feels luxurious from the very first impression. A palette of icy blues, soft lavenders and crisp whites introduces the design direction, offering guests their first glimpse of the thoughtfully curated celebration to come.

The bride stuns in a sparkling Audrey Bea gown that catches the light with every movement, complemented by crystal-embellished heels finished with delicate bow details. The groom’s timeless black tuxedo creates a striking contrast against the snowy backdrop while allowing the bride’s look to shine. Her bouquet, designed by Audrey Mae Floral, combines sweet peas, mums and grape hyacinths in soft shades of lavender, blue and white, bringing movement and texture that seamlessly transition into the reception florals.

Inside Sundance Mountain Resort, the celebration transforms into an intimate winter wonderland. Billowing drapery softens the rustic architecture while long reception tables dressed in textured linens, layered place settings, candlelight and abundant floral arrangements create a cozy atmosphere that feels warm despite the snowy landscape just beyond the windows. For an added touch of comfort, plush lounge seating replaces traditional dining chairs, bringing a relaxed elegance to the reception while encouraging guests to settle in and savor the evening.

For a sweet conclusion, a hand-painted three-tier cake by Abbi Cakes features soft watercolor washes of blue and green accented with delicate floral illustrations that mirror the blooms displayed throughout the reception. As the celebration continues, the bride slips into a sleek silk slip dress layered beneath a cozy faux fur jacket, letting her hair down for the festivities ahead, while the groom swaps his tuxedo jacket for a powder-blue dinner jacket. Together, they make a sparkling getaway in a vintage Mercedes convertible, ending the evening with a stylish send-off.
