A couple times every year growing up, we would drive down I-25 and make our way to where the land meets the sky. So many of my favorite memories are from those trips over the years. It was when I first began to feel at home in another place other than Colorado. This is something I still feel present every single time I cross that border, a special kind of homecoming that is truly inexplicable. In all honesty, I didn’t think my adoration for New Mexico could grow any stronger, but this past year has challenged that previous belief. Creating and dreaming alongside the incredible vendors featured throughout this magazine sparked something inside of me and made my heart grow even bigger with awe. I feel incredibly lucky to have guided this magazine into fruition and watched as it became a physical representation of the place I cherish most.

I know that this year may have thrown previous plans out the window, you might still be waiting to celebrate your wedding, or perhaps you’re newly engaged and searching for a place to start. Regardless of where you are in your planning journey, my greatest hope is this magazine serves as a reminder that whether you have 100 guests or it’s just the two of you, you can still make your day a pure reflection of your partner and you. In these pages you will find inspiration no matter your style or favorite spot in the state. From north to south, make your way from the eclectic rehearsal dinner at The Stakeout in Taos to a dreamy wildflower wedding in Las Cruces set amongst the gorgeous Calhoun Flower Farms. Some of the sweetest gems of locations are scattered throughout this magazine and all offer a different take on a uniquely enchanting New Mexico wedding experience.

My advice would be to sit down together on the couch with a glass of wine (or one of the craft cocktails featured in the magazine!), flip through every page and really look at each element to see what you both love. Go through the vendor lists and take a peek at each vendor’s work to see if they’re a right fit for you and your vision! This magazine was specially made with you in mind and a whole heck of a lot of heart behind it. In all the madness and unforeseen pivots this time has required, remember that your love story is the greatest gift and deserves to be honored as such.

Best wishes! xx, brit tucker-kline
