@celynn_rockymtnbride | @mackenzie_rockymtnbride When we published our very first Arizona edition, we hoped it would be the beginning of something special. What we couldn’t have anticipated was just how warmly we’d be welcomed into this incredible community. Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of meeting talented creatives, passionate business owners and couples whose stories remind us why we love what we do. Arizona has a way of bringing people together, with its breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities and a wedding industry filled with generosity, creativity and heart. It has been an honor to become a small part of that story. As we share our second edition, we hope these pages inspire you. From intimate desert celebrations to grand weddings, thoughtful editorials to talented designer highlights, every feature is a reflection of the people who make this state such an extraordinary place to say “I do!” Whether you’re newly engaged, deep in the planning process or simply dreaming about what’s to come, we hope this magazine becomes a trusted source of inspiration and a celebration of the remarkable talent found across Arizona. This issue also carries a special place in our hearts: we would like to dedicate a small moment of gratitude to Kelsey of FINN Collective. Kelsey was one of our earliest supporters in Arizona, believing in this publication long before we had the opportunity to prove what it could become. Her kindness, creativity and unwavering encouragement helped shape these pages in ways she’ll never know. While her absence is deeply felt throughout this community, her legacy lives on through the beauty she created, the people she inspired and the countless celebrations she made more meaningful. We are honored to feature her within this issue. Thank you to every couple who trusted us with your stories, every vendor who shared your artistry and every reader who continues to support this growing publication. We can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next.

rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Makayla and Braden met during their sophomore year of college while attending a sorority social. Braden insists that Makayla made the first move. Makayla, however, is certain it was the other way around. Regardless of who started the conversation, it sparked the beginning of their forever. After nine years together, Braden planned a proposal during a trip to New York City, New York, at The Rink at Rockefeller Center beneath the glow of the Christmas lights. There was just one problem: Braden couldn’t ice skate. Determined to make the moment unforgettable, he secretly spent four months practicing whenever he could sneak away. When the big day arrived, the rink cleared, their song began to play and Braden asked Makayla to take a lap around the ice with him. After a few turns around the rink and one now-legendary slip and fall, he got down on one knee. Of course, Makayla said “Yes!,” turning a magical New York evening into a moment they’ll never forget.

Elly & Tucker 20
rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Elly and Tucker first met at a house party while attending North Dakota State University and began dating shortly after. Nearly six years later, Tucker dropped to one knee on the dock of Elly’s childhood lake house in Minnesota. When it came time to plan their wedding, the couple knew they wanted an intimate celebration, and Arizona felt like the perfect escape from Minnesota’s harsh winters. They gathered just under 100 friends and family for a clean, modern wedding at The Paseo.

The morning of the wedding began at Aquila Place, a nearby micro-resort, where Elly slipped into a fitted, strapless gown featuring a plunging illusion neckline, floral lace appliqué and sheer detachable sleeves. Her bridesmaids coordinated in mismatched white dresses, while Tucker wore a custom black suit from Men’s Wearhouse. At The Paseo, white floral pillars framed the ceremony without competing with the Superstition Mountains rising in the distance. The celebration later moved indoors for a candlelit reception beneath the venue’s warm wood beams and string lights. Elly and Tucker ended the night with a spark-filled exit, but not before climbing aboard a mechanical bull for one last unforgettable ride.

Mackenzie & Ben
28
rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Mackenzie and Ben spent six years as friends before their relationship became something more. When Ben proposed, he found a way to fold it into an event that was already deeply personal to Mackenzie. She was in New York for a gallery showing of her paintings, with their closest friends and family in town for the opening, when a morning photoshoot at the gallery turned into a proposal surrounded by her work. Their Paebaek took place later in her family’s backyard in Arizona, a setting that has become a bit of a wedding tradition, with two of her cousins married there before them. The day was created first and foremost for Mackenzie’s grandparents, who immigrated from Korea more than 50 years ago and were unable to travel for their larger wedding celebration. “It felt really important to bring a meaningful celebration to them,” she shared. With her mom leading the planning and the couple arriving to see much of it as a surprise, the ceremony honored Korean tradition through formal bows, tea served to parents and grandparents, words of wisdom, piggyback rides and the joyful tossing of dates and chestnuts, which, by their count, predicted they’ll have “six girls and eighteen boys.”
THE COUPLE EDIT VENDOR LOVE We actually hadn’t met most of our vendors prior to the event, which made experiencing everything come together on the day feel even more special. The only vendors I personally selected were our photographer, Lauren; our content creator, Alexa, who will also be with us for our wedding in June; my makeup artist, Kimmy, who has been doing my makeup since high school; and my hairstylist, Carolina. We also worked with an incredible Paebaek planner, Sarah Park, who played such an important role in ensuring the ceremony felt both authentic and beautifully executed. She helped us honor the tradition while designing every detail so thoughtfully.

Zoe & Chris
mountain west bride arizona 2026 / rockymountainbride.com

While Chris may tell you it was love at first sight, Zoe needed a little more convincing. The two met senior year of college through mutual friends, with her at Baylor University and him at The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, their lives stayed busy in very different cities, with Chris chasing his NFL dreams as a kicker for the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys while Zoe moved to Denver, Colorado, to become a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. Somehow, they made long distance work, even if that meant flying across the country for one night together. When Chris proposed in Wilmington, North Carolina, he had thought through every detail, including press-on nails tucked in his pocket for photos afterward. Zoe, completely unaware, interrupted his sweet speech to take a photo of the sunset, only realizing something was happening when he started the whole thing over again. For their wedding, Arizona felt like the right place to bring everyone together. Zoe grew up in Tucson, and Sedona gave them a setting that felt meaningful to her while still giving guests a full weekend away. The celebration turned into what she called a “whimsical fairytale,” complete with a family-style dinner, a packed dance floor and a weekend that doubled as a full friend-filled getaway. One of the sweetest details came before the wedding even started, with Zoe getting ready in a robe made from her mom’s old wedding dress. Later, as the ceremony began, the heat softened, clouds rolled in and leaves started falling around them while they stood beneath a tree. “I can’t even fully put it into words,” Zoe shared, “it just felt so magical and like everything aligned perfectly in that moment.”

THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE The day goes by so fast, so really try to soak it all in. I know that sounds cliché, but it’s so true. I’d also recommend being as proactive as possible and getting as much planning and prep done ahead of time so the week of the wedding feels more seamless. And remember, things will inevitably go wrong, but I promise no one else will notice. FAVORITE PURCHASE In true impulsive fashion, I decided to buy 220 chairs from Alibaba instead of renting them, thinking I could turn our wedding into a little business venture afterward. Chris and I ended up towing all 220 chairs from Denver, Colorado, to Arizona in his truck. Because of the weight we were getting about six miles to the gallon, which quickly turned what should have been a 13hour drive into an 18-hour adventure. SOMETHING BORROWED My mom’s wedding dress NON-NEGOTIABLE Family style dinner AISLE SONG “Outro” by M83 on the violin SIGNATURE COCKTAIL “Meet Me in Waco” named after where we first met, an Espresso Martini, “The Mile Marker” for where we call home, an Old Fashioned, “Carolina Kiss” after where we got engaged, a French 75 and “Sedona Sunset” where we tied the knot, a Paloma FIRST DANCE SONG “Quelqu’un m’a dit” by Carla Bruni CAKE FLAVORS Bride’s cake: sour cream almond, vanilla buttercream and strawberries, Groom’s cake: devil’s food cake, raspberry filling, chocolate ganache and Frost Gelato Cart Fun fact: we never even had a piece of our cake because we were dancing all night
SECOND-LOOK I wore the Rogue Dress from Eva Lendel LATE NIGHT SNACK Pizza VENDOR LOVE Izzie Karren was my amazing photographer and captured the day so beautifully. John Bunn Films was the best videographer I could have asked for and did an incredible job bringing all the moments to life. Our planner, 440 and Company, truly made my vision come to life and handled everything so seamlessly. Javier the DJ kept the dance floor packed and the party going all night long. And Pooja from Makiaj Beauty was part of the best glam squad a girl could ask for.

Landin & Patrick
46
rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Landin and Patrick first met at a dinner planned by a mutual friend, then brought the story back around by hosting their rehearsal dinner at that same restaurant years later. Their wedding celebration came after a long engagement and a season of distance, so the day at Villa Siena was designed to feel close, warm and fully theirs. The venue gave them the indoor-outdoor flexibility they wanted for a December wedding, along with the moody, romantic setting they had imagined from the start. Landin wore a two-piece gown from Floure, then changed the look for the reception with a sequin skirt from Anthropologie and a pearl choker, a second look that felt playful without losing the elegance of the day. But the moments that stayed with them most were the personal ones, including their first look, where they read private vows together before the ceremony. “After seeing each other, we were able to just enjoy the rest of the day together and be fully present,” Landin shared.
mountain west bride arizona 2026 / rockymountainbride.com

THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE My biggest advice would be to truly try to relax and enjoy it all, both the planning process and the day itself. It’s so easy to get caught up in the details, but at the end of the day, nothing is as serious as it might feel in the moment. The more you can stay present and have fun, the more meaningful the entire experience becomes. Everything goes by so quickly, and what really matters is that you’re marrying the love of your life and starting forever together. SOMETHING BORROWED & OLD I wore my mom’s ring, which originally belonged to her grandma. It’s been passed down through generations, so it’s incredibly old and so meaningful. My mom has worn it my entire life, and I have such vivid memories of trying it on growing up, so getting to wear it on my wedding day felt really special. It was also an east/west marquise design, which paired perfectly with my own marquise ring. It felt like such a beautiful, sentimental way to tie everything together. AISLE SONG “Golden Hour” by JVKE, strings version SIGNATURE COCKTAILS Margarita and Espresso Martinis! We had Espresso Martini shots served on the dance floor, which was a hit! FIRST DANCE SONG “Stargazing” by Myles Smith CAKE FLAVOR We went with a Funfetti cake, which is our all-time favorite flavor, it felt fun and just so ‘us.’ We also added ice cream cookie sandwiches, which were honestly insanely good. I could’ve had a hundred of them. they were such a hit and a really fun addition for our guests. SECOND-LOOK One of my favorite parts was being able to transform my look for the reception. I swapped out the full skirt for something more playful, which ended up being a bit of a journey! I had the hardest time finding a skirt that perfectly matched the tone of the corset. I finally found the most perfect sequin skirt from Anthropologie, and it completely made the second look. I added a pearl choker, and I was obsessed. It felt fun, elevated and like a whole new vibe for the night. VENDOR LOVE It’s honestly impossible to call out just one! Every single vendor went above and beyond in the best way. From our planner, to our florals, photo and video team, DJ and rentals, everyone poured so much into making the day perfect. Everything came together in a way that was beyond anything I could have imagined. We felt so supported the entire time, and it truly showed in every detail of the day.
The ceremony’s sweetest moment belonged to their daughter, who served as flower girl. She was nervous walking down the aisle, but the second she saw Patrick, “her whole face lit up and she just ran to him,” Landin shared, a moment that made the whole room melt. For the wedding day, the couple chose a moody and romantic atmosphere, with a dark color palette and warm, intimate details for an inviting atmosphere. “We chose soft lighting, rich tones, and details that felt timeless but still personal to us. It all came together in a way that felt cohesive, intentional and exactly how we had imagined from the very beginning,” Landin explained.

Danielle & Cody

Danielle and Cody first met in kindergarten and attended school together all the way through Arizona State University. Three years later, fate stepped back in. While having dinner with family, Danielle happened to run into someone who was meeting Cody’s dad. Hearing his name sparked an idea, and on the drive home, Danielle decided to give Cody a call. “Thank God he still had his same phone number,” she laughs. Just a year and a half later, Cody surprised Danielle with a staycation at JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, telling her only to pack a swimsuit, a cute outfit for dinner and be ready in a few hours. After arriving at the resort, he revealed plans for an evening at her favorite restaurant and even secured their favorite booth. Danielle suspected nothing. “Cody is very thoughtful and always has surprises for me,” she shares. As they settled in with a glass of wine, he began telling her how much he loved her. It wasn’t until Cody stood up and pulled a ring box from his pocket that she finally realized what was happening. “After that, it was a blur,” Danielle says. “I just remember staring at the most beautiful ring on my finger.”

THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE Throw the big white wedding!!!!! Originally I wanted to elope somewhere off in Italy. Cody convinced me that it would be so incredible to have everyone we love and cherish in one spot to watch us move into this next phase of life and I couldn’t agree more. It was amazing to ask our closest friends to be in our bridal party. The joy we saw on our parents’ faces all day is something we won’t forget. It was so beautiful to see our friends travel from out of town to see us during this special time. Do the big wedding. Invite as many people as you can. You won’t regret it. Also, have an hour and a half long cocktail hour. An hour is too short. FAVORITE PURCHASE Hers: White pearly cowboy boots or my wedding dress His: Belt SOMETHING OLD Necklace from my grandma SOMETHING NEW A blue topaz and aquamarine bracelet that Cody got me SOMETHING BORROWED & BLUE Earrings and a blue ring from my aunt NON-NEGOTIABLE Attending cocktail hour AISLE SONG Cody walked down to “Better Together” by Jack Johnson and I walked down to “Canon in D” SIGNATURE COCKTAIL Spicy margarita and gin and tonic FIRST DANCE SONG “I Think I’m in Love With You” by Chris Stapleton SECOND-LOOK I changed into an Alfred Sung mini with an oversized bowtie and white pearly cowboy boots. Cody changed into a fun bolo tie. SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE We hired a country line dancer to come teach a couple of line dances! Or when Cody sang on stage! VENDOR LOVE Chère Rosalie, Kim Pestalozzi, was such an amazing planner. She took a Pinterest page to a design deck then to the most beautiful wedding. She really went above and beyond. She recommended our other key vendors that she knew had a lot of skill with color. Our Photographer, Sara Bishop, really understood how much fun we wanted to have during our engagement photos and wedding. She really made all the color pop in our photos. All of our guests commented on our florals. Florals by Kendra did an amazing job. I had no idea what the aisle flowers were going to look like until I walked down the aisle. I truly trusted her genius.
Danielle and Cody planned an Arizona sunset meets Southwestern desert-inspired wedding at Andaz Scottsdale, with vibrant shades of pink, orange, yellow, green and turquoise woven throughout the day. Before the festivities began, Cody arranged one final surprise for his bride, sending Danielle a heartfelt note and bouquet ahead of their first look. Waiting outside the room, he could hear the excited screams from Danielle and her bridesmaids as the flowers arrived, making the moment even sweeter. When it came to wedding-day style, Cody left no detail overlooked. A self-proclaimed turquoise enthusiast, he searched local Scottsdale shops to find the perfect turquoise wedding band, pairing it with black cherry ostrich Lucchese cowboy boots, a matching ostrich belt and a turquoise belt buckle. One of the most meaningful moments of the day came when Danielle’s mom surprised her with a father-daughter dance, inviting the important men in her life to share the dance in honor of her late father. Later, guests packed the dance floor to the sounds of a live country band, and when their planner brought out light-up cowboy hats, the party instantly kicked into high gear.

JEROME - THE LITTLE DAISY
Olivia & Paul

rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Olivia and Paul have known each other since high school, back when they were, in Olivia’s words, “just kids trying to figure out who we were.” Years later, after building a life together and raising their son Jude, Paul proposed on a stormy Sausalito, California, weekend that had to abandon its original cliffside plan for a private beach instead. Jude stood beside him holding the ring, one that had belonged to Olivia’s great-grandmother, while Paul talked about their life together before finally asking the question she had waited years to hear. For their wedding, Jerome felt like the right kind of unexpected. “It’s quirky, charming and a little unexpected, so it felt like us,” Olivia shared, and The Little Daisy gave them space to make the whole weekend feel intimate rather than rushed. Family was everywhere in the details, from Olivia getting ready in her mom’s wedding dress, altered by Paul’s mom, to her cousin officiating and Jude standing beside them as Best Man. Even her bridesmaids’ bouquets were made from flowers pulled from her own, a way to honor how each woman had shaped her story. One of the most emotional moments came during their first dance, when Olivia’s uncle played piano while a recording of her late Papa Tony’s voice filled the room. Later, the mood shifted into pure celebration, with her best girls surrounding her during “Dancing Queen.” “In that moment, I felt completely seen and truly loved,” she shared. “I was their dancing queen.”

THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE Focus on what truly matters to you as a couple, not on what feels expected or trendy. Prioritize the moments that will be meaningful and memorable. Take time during the day to pause and breathe. The day can feel like a blur, so it’s important to really take in each moment. Most importantly, remember it’s about your partnership and the life you’re building together. FAVORITE PURCHASE My ring, which featured my mom’s birthstone. I also gifted her a ring with a blue topaz, my birthstone. I loved this gesture of connection. I thought it was a way to honor our bond and how important she is to me. SOMETHING OLD My getting ready outfit was my mom’s wedding dress that was altered into a three-piece set. SOMETHING NEW Paul gifted me a diamond bracelet the day of the wedding SHADE OF LIPSTICK Lifter Gloss in Gummy Bear by Maybelline FRAGRANCE Meliora by Parfumes De Marly NON-NEGOTIABLE The food and the photography AISLE SONG “Love of My Life” by Queen SIGNATURE COCKTAILS Lavender mezcal margarita and an Old Fashioned FIRST DANCE SONG “If” by Bread sang by my late grandfather, Tony. We found multiple recordings of him singing after he passed. Was the most beautiful way to honor him. CAKE FLAVOR Funfetti SECOND-LOOK Of course! I changed into a high neck lace dress by Ines Di Santo. Knew I needed to have it the moment I tried it on. I purchased the dress at Destinys Bridal, where I also had all of my alterations done at. Beautiful work and the sweetest staff. SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee VENDOR LOVE My content creator was one of my best decisions. She was my hype queen. So sweet and supportive. Hiring our favorite coffee cart, Crest Coffee Roasters, was also top tier and really enhanced the guest experience. Chef Erik was incredible. Our dinner was cooked on property and served family style creating a sense of connection and conversation. He actually surprised both Paul and I with dinner comprised of everyone’s food options; steak, lobster and hen. Plus surprised our guests with cannolis, which was a sweet tribute to my family. Very thoughtful and appreciated.

PHOENIX - THE SECRET GARDEN BY WEDGEWOOD WEDDINGS
Paulina & Reed
68
rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Paulina and Reed first met at the University of Arizona, where a close friendship eventually turned into something more after graduation. They built a life together in Los Angeles, California, with their French Bulldog, Winston, then returned home during a tender season for Paulina’s family, after her mom’s long battle with ovarian cancer. Five years in, Reed planned what Paulina thought was a birthday staycation for him at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa, leading her to a candlelit setup filled with rose petals, champagne and a sunset view. It did not take long for her to realize the night was not actually about Reed’s birthday, especially once he got down on one knee. Afterward, their closest friends and family were waiting at the restaurant to celebrate, turning the whole evening into one big surprise. mountain west bride arizona 2026 / rockymountainbride.com

For the wedding, The Secret Garden by Wedgewood Weddings gave them the private, transportive feeling they wanted without leaving Arizona. With its Italian villa inspired estate, iconic staircase and old-world feel, the venue set the scene for a day rooted in timeless elegance. Guests arrived in all black winter formal attire, matching the black, white and gold palette, while classic white florals kept everything refined and romantic. Some of the most meaningful details were reserved for Paulina’s mom. Each bridesmaid placed a rose on a chair saved in her memory; Paulina carried a brooch with a photo of the two of them on her bouquet, and lace from her mom’s wedding gown was sewn into the underskirt of her own dress. “It made me feel like she was with me throughout the day,” Paulina shared. The ceremony’s grand entrance added another unforgettable moment as she walked down the staircase before linking arms with her dad. Later, Reed slipped behind the DJ booth for a surprise set of their favorite house music, turning the reception into the kind of late-night party guests were still talking about on the ride home.

Kaiti & Noah

rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Kaiti and Noah met long before either of them could have imagined planning a wedding together. They were freshmen in high school when they were introduced through Noah’s best friend and Kaiti’s brother, who played baseball together. They became friends first, started dating junior year and stayed together through the years that tend to pull people in different directions. After college, they moved to Arizona to begin their careers and build a life of their own, which is when the future Noah had pictured early on started to feel real to Kaiti, too. “If you ask Noah, he would say he knew within the first few months of dating,” she shared, while for her, that certainty settled in later as they started their adult lives together. After almost eight years of dating, Noah proposed in the exact kind of setting Kaiti had always hoped for: at home, in pajamas, over Sunday morning coffee. “It was exactly how I had always envisioned it,” she shared. “Simple, intimate and just the two of us.” Before jumping into wedding planning, they spent six months simply enjoying being engaged, giving themselves time to sit with the sweetness of that season before moving into the next one.

THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE We recommend opening credit cards during the wedding planning process and using them strategically. We put many of our wedding expenses on credit cards, met the spending requirements for sign-up bonuses, and then used the points to help cover the cost of our honeymoon. FAVORITE PURCHASE We printed our engagement photos in an album and used it as our guest book. It now sits on our coffee table, and it is so special flipping through it and reading the notes our friends and family wrote to us. SOMETHING OLD My mom gifted me a clutch that she made from her wedding dress. It was one of the most meaningful gifts I have ever received. SOMETHING NEW I splurged on the Lace 80 heels from Black Suede Studio and they ended up being incredibly comfortable. I put them on during the first look at 2 p.m, and did not take them off until midnight. SOMETHING BORROWED Diamond earrings from my grandmother FRAGRANCE I wore Valaya Eau de Parfum by Parfums de Marly and Noah wore Thé Matcha 26 by Le Labo NON-NEGOTIABLE Photography was a top priority for us, so we dedicated a larger portion of our budget to it and booked our photographer as soon as our wedding date was secured. AISLE SONG We hired a string quartet from Sweetwater Strings to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They played a string version of “Watermelon Sugar” by Harry Styles when Noah walked down the aisle and “Video Games” by Lana Del Rey when I walked down the aisle. SIGNATURE COCKTAILS Old Fashioned and skinny margarita FIRST DANCE SONG “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey CAKE FLAVORS White cake with white chocolate buttercream and raspberry compote SECOND-LOOK I would highly recommend any bride considering one to check out the Mimi Gown from Aston Bridal SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE “Forever” by Chris Brown VENDOR LOVE All of our vendors played such an important role in bringing our vision to life. We would happily recommend every one of them to future couples. Our caterer, Just Perfect Catering, created an incredible dining experience. Guests kept coming up to us during and after the wedding to tell us how much they loved the food and the plated dinner felt like such a special touch. The drapery installation from Laura Loves Lux Weddings paired beautifully with the florals from La Vie Floral and created a stunning backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. Laura Powers Photo and Reverie BTS also worked so well together. They made an amazing team for photography and content creation and captured the day in such a natural and effortless way. The team at Gather Estate was wonderful to work with. Our venue coordinator, Shelley McKown, was always responsive and helpful throughout the planning process.

Inspired by Lana Del Rey, their wedding at Gather Estate leaned moody, romantic and intimate with subtle Palm Springs and desert touches, while the couple designed their own invitation suite and wedding day signage. Noah even letterpressed the invitations by hand, making each card feel personal before guests ever arrived. Since nearly everyone traveled from out of state, guest experience mattered most. Drinks were waiting as guests arrived, dinner was plated and late-night In-N-Out made its way into the celebration. They also tucked pieces of their relationship into the smaller details, including cocktail napkins printed with old notes they had written to each other while dating. During the ceremony, they read their vows aloud and took communion as their first act as husband and wife. Later, their reception brought one of the most memorable surprises: a choreographed dance they had practiced for months during Friday night lessons. “Those classes became such a fun part of the planning process,” Kaiti shared, and seeing it all come together in front of their favorite people made the moment even sweeter. 80

Maya & Kameron rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Maya and Kameron first connected on Hinge. However, it was clear from their first date that there was something special between them. For Maya, meeting Kameron was one thing, but watching him embrace her daughter, Malia, was the moment she knew she had found her forever. Two years later, Kameron surprised Maya on the beaches of Kauai, Hawaii, with a candlelit aisle lined with white roses leading to a glowing “Will You Marry Me?” sign. After she said, “Yes!” the couple celebrated with a private five-course dinner as the sun dipped below the horizon. The couple went on to plan an intimate and timeless wedding with a touch of old world romance at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa, with just 27 of their loved ones in attendance.
THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE Remember that your wedding is about celebrating your love, not creating the perfect production. Invest in things that matter most to you, trust your vendor team and intentionally make time to be together throughout the day. FAVORITE PURCHASE Jimmy Choo lace and pearl pumps. Absolutely drool worthy! FRAGRANCE Baccarat Rouge 540 AISLE SONG “Je Te Laisserai Des Mots” by Patrick Watson FIRST DANCE SONG “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley CAKE FLAVORS Marble VENDOR LOVE Our vendor team was truly exceptional. Every detail reflected the timeless vision we had imagined and each vendor brought incredible creativity and care to our day. Our planner, Emerald Grace Planning, made the entire experience feel effortless, our florist designed elegant white arrangements that perfectly complemented the desert landscape and our photographer and videographer captured every emotion so beautifully. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day all over again.
A crisp white color palette defined the day, from the lush floral ceremony arch to the petal-lined aisle leading Maya toward Kameron. She wore a sleek strapless satin gown featuring a row of delicate buttons cascading down the back, paired with a dramatic cathedral-length veil and pearl accessories. Meanwhile, Kameron opted for a tailored beige suit and suede Italian loafers, completing a look that felt elevated without chasing trends. For the reception, tables were lined with simple white florals and romantic candlelight, while a statement cake featuring flowing, fabric-inspired detailing served as the evening’s showstopping centerpiece.

Amanda and Brian met while living in New York City, New York, navigating the world of Hinge, missed connections and second chances. After a rainstorm canceled their first date, they finally met at Loverboy on the Lower East Side, spending the night talking and dancing. The rest, as they say, is history. Five years later, Brian planned an unforgettable proposal during a trip to Florence, Italy. “Brian rented out a rooftop terrace at a gorgeous hotel with a photographer present,” Amanda shares. “He told me he made breakfast reservations, so we woke up early one morning and walked to the hotel for breakfast.” When they arrived and Amanda realized they were the only two there, Brian got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

Inspired by their love of Europe, Amanda and Brian set out to create an elegant, whimsical dinner party at Royal Palms Resort and Spa that transported guests overseas. Amanda stunned in the Miles gown by KYHA Bride, a timeless yet fashion-forward silhouette she knew was the one the moment she slipped it on, while Brian looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo accented with Christian Louboutin patent leather Oxfords. Cocktail hour featured one of the couple’s most memorable touches: a champagne-filled clawfoot tub stocked with bubbly as bartenders crafted Aperol and Hugo spritzes for guests to enjoy. The celebration continued with espresso martini shots, a cannoli cart and two long king’s tables set beneath the Arizona sky. However, one of the most meaningful moments of the evening was Amanda’s dance with her grandfather, a memory she will cherish forever.
THE COUPLE EDIT ADVICE Work on wedding planning together and enjoy the process, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime! VENDOR LOVE Anna and Bailey, our wedding planners truly understood our vision from day one. They are the best in the business. I’d also recommend the layout that we had for our wedding to all future brides. Our venue was unique because we transitioned from space to space throughout the evening. We had our ceremony in a garden on the property then guests walked over to cocktail hour on a beautiful lawn overlooking Camelback Mountain. We then walked over to the next space (dinner) where two long tables were filled with candles and florals. After dinner we went to the last area to dance, which gave this part of the evening a “club vibe.”

Maurielle & Grant
Maurielle and Grant first met at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Orlando, Florida. However, it wasn’t until they reconnected two years later that they noticed there was something special between them. “From the very first night, it felt like finding someone who spoke the same language,” Maurielle said. Three years later, during a trip to Barcelona, Spain, Grant planned a proposal during a day trip to the coastal town of Sitges. After a delayed train ride and an afternoon spent waiting out a rainstorm in a café, the skies finally cleared and the couple set off for a walk along the waterfront. While Maurielle was busy photographing a historic church overlooking the sea, Grant quietly asked a nearby stranger to capture the moment. The couple later celebrated with an intimate desertinspired wedding at Eagle Dancer Private Estate. “The red rocks dusted in purple, the vivid greens and blues scattered below, it’s unlike anywhere else on earth,” Maurielle shared. With just their immediate family present, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by a palette of rust, sage and gold inspired by Sedona’s striking landscape.

We chose this location for our accommodations, ceremony and reception for our intimate wedding. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. Guests were tucked into charming private casitas on-site, and the ceremony and reception spaces were nothing short of stunning. We used the casitas for our bridal and groom suites. The bridal suite was a perfect place for the hair and makeup artist to be for me and my guests. We also chose the venue for its proximity to the trails, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. After exchanging vows, we slipped away with a glass of champagne and walked straight into the landscape for our portraits. The golden light against the red rocks was absolutely breathtaking. Katie, from Cedar & Sage, is the reason I chose the venue and all of the other vendors listed. She was so resourceful and helpful, and provided a plethora of quality options for vendors. outdoors, FINN Collective reimagined the traditional escort card as a field guide to the couple’s desert disco. Each booklet included the guest’s seating assignment, a map of the celebration’s stations and a mini pencil with space to submit a song request for the live band. Desert-inspired neutrals paired with warm, punchy colors, while the towering custom display and ground florals echoed the Superstition Mountain setting. “It transformed a functional moment into the opening chapter of the celebration,” shared the FINN Collective team. Guests gathered to compare pages, plan their first stops and get excited for the party ahead.
LUCKY IN LOVE Vintage patterns, pastel hues and country-western details set the tone for Antonia and Seth’s celebration at Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch. When Antonia’s dad suggested using horseshoes for the seating chart, the idea immediately felt personal to the bride, who grew up around farmland and has always loved horses. Her parents sourced the horseshoes, wallpapered and painted each pillar and created the shiny gold lettering that completed the display. During cocktail hour, guests collected their place cards while horses danced in the background. “It doesn’t need to be trendy to stand out. In fact, it is more impactful when guests see the couple’s personalities in a unique design,” shares the K Marie Weddings team. OUR BEST BUDS The surrounding desert inspired the natural colors and textures used throughout Scotia and Jordan’s wedding at The Paseo. Bailey Shea & Co. carried the palette into the seating display with arched panels, deckled-edge table assignments and petite bud vases holding neutral blooms. The phrase “Our Best Buds” added a playful nod to the couple’s love of Bud Light. What began as a small, simple concept grew into a full design moment where guests could pause and find their seats. “No matter the favorite Pinterest photo, you can always make the concept personal to your story and your wedding,” shares the Bailey Shea & Co. team. LOVE IS BREWING A shared love of coffee inspired this interactive escort display at L’Auberge de Sedona. Each guest found their name on a personalized mug, complete with “Love Is Brewing” and the wedding destination printed on the opposite side. Tucked inside was a tea bag with a card directing them to their seat. As guests collected their mugs, the display slowly revealed a custom line drawing of the couple that first appeared on their wedding invitations. “The most memorable displays don’t just tell guests where to sit. They leave them delighted and saying, ‘This is so them,’” shares the FINN Collective team. PAPER FLOWERS Sophia and Jack first met in Washington, D.C., where many of their early days together were spent walking beneath the city’s cherry blossoms. To honor where their story began, Gatherings by Elle and Arch + Arrow brought the iconic blooms to Arizona. Delicate cherry blossom wallpaper created the look of flowering branches, while each escort card was handcrafted into a dimensional paper blossom. “The result was a seating chart that not only reflected the couple’s love story but also became one of the evening’s most memorable design moments,” shares Hannah of Arch + Arrow. ROOTED IN LOVE Shelley and Louis envisioned a spring-inspired celebration filled with bright color and a touch of whimsy. FINN Collective, idieh design and Carte Blanche Design brought that vision to life through a wall overflowing with richly saturated peonies and other blooms in shades of pink and orange. Each guest’s name was attached to an individual bud, inviting them to “pick” a flower and carry it to their seat. As the blooms disappeared, a floral line drawing used throughout the couple’s stationery and signage was revealed across the backdrop. “Use your seating chart to create an experience that not only makes a visual impact, but also weaves in your personality and the story of your day,” shares the FINN Collective team.

OUR BIGGEST FANS With loved ones traveling to the desert for Leah and Ray’s wedding, the couple wanted their escort display to double as a warm welcome. Arch + Arrow drew from the celebration’s earthy palette and desert textures, pairing a fluted wood backdrop with custom paper fans and softly swaying tassels. Each fan unfolded to reveal the day’s itinerary, the guest’s seating assignment and a personal thankyou note from the couple. The interactive design brought beauty, function and movement to the cocktail-hour space. “The most memorable seating charts are the ones that feel deeply personal and couldn’t belong to anyone else,” shares Hannah of Arch + Arrow. POUR SOME SUGAR Taylor and Jarrett’s playful personalities and rock-and-roll wedding inspired a seating display that was every bit as fun as the party itself. Arch + Arrow designed and fabricated custom acrylic holders that made rows of pink and red rock candy appear to float against the wall. Guests could easily grab their escort card and a sweet treat before heading to their seats. The candy sticks later reappeared as garnishes for the passed champagne during cocktail hour. “It felt playful, unexpected and perfectly reflective of the couple’s personality,” shares Hannah of Arch + Arrow. Nantucket Goes West: A Wedding Weekend at The Wigwam

rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride arizona 2026
Bash Boulevard and Justine & Steven reimagined the charm of an East Coast coastal estate celebration through a distinctly Southwestern lens at The Wigwam. Inspired by the timeless elegance of destinations like Newport and Nantucket, the design softened classic preppy details with warm sunshine, relaxed entertaining and vibrant desert surroundings. A palette of butter yellow, dusty rose, wine red, chartreuse and olive green carried throughout the weekend, while the invitation suite by Fossil Wedding Invitations set the tone from the very beginning with playful illustrations offering guests a glimpse of the weekend ahead.
Rather than planning separate bachelor and bachelorette trips, this concept embraced the idea of building those experiences directly into the wedding weekend. By inviting friends and family to arrive a day early, couples can create meaningful opportunities to connect before the festivities begin. Bridesmaids spent the afternoon enjoying pickleball with custom paddles, poolside cocktails and time under the Arizona sun, while the groomsmen headed to the golf course for a day on the greens.

The welcome party introduced a completely different side of the celebration with a lived-in, country chic aesthetic that felt both elevated and inviting. As planner, Bash Boulevard, describes it, the inspiration was “where you could take your boots off and relax, almost as if we were on the ranch in Montana, but in Arizona.” The event featured a custom hat bar courtesy of Rancher Hat Bar, cozy lounge vignettes and a variety of dining arrangements that encouraged guests to mingle freely. Hazel Grove Rentals masterfully layered natural wood tones with patterned linens, creating a look that felt collected rather than overly styled. Horse motif menus rested atop vintage-inspired dinnerware, while mixed prints and playful textures added personality throughout the space.

For the ceremony, the design team embraced the natural beauty of The Wigwam’s grounds. Beneath the beautiful wooden pergola, a less-is-more approach to the ceremony design allowed the couple to be the moment. Ground floral installations appeared to grow organically from the landscape, while warm wood chairs blended seamlessly into the surroundings. Both the bride and groom opted for classic wedding-day looks. The bride wore a romantic long-sleeve lace gown from Strut Bridal’s Exclusive Collection paired with timeless jewelry from Madison James Jewelry, while the groom wore a tailored black tuxedo from Celebrity Tux and Tails.

As guests transitioned into the reception, the design evolved into a vibrant garden party filled with color and texture. A bold seating chart accented with tropical blooms welcomed guests into the evening celebration. Lounge seating offered inviting spaces for friends and family to enjoy cocktails before dinner, while a mix of round and long alfresco tables created visual interest throughout the lawn. Floral linens, layered place settings and abundant blooms balanced the coastal-preppy inspiration with Arizona’s desert landscape. At the center of it all sat a checkered dance floor beneath strands of twinkle lights, inviting guests to dance the night away. The evening concluded with signature cocktails and a scrumptiously stunning wedding cake by Artful Sweets AZ. The three-tier confection featured layers of lemon cake filled with lemon curd and lemon buttercream, wrapped in dramatic white fondant ruffles and adorned with delicate edible wafer paper orchids.
