From the Desk of A. Beyel October 2025
Dear Members, Guests, and Friends,
Andrea Beyel, GM Rockledge Country Club
Fall is in the air, and it’s a wonderful time to enjoy everything Rockledge Country Club has to offer. The course shows the results of the many improvements we’ve been investing in, and we hope you are noticing the difference. Every step we take is dedicated to enhancing your experience, and we’re grateful for the continued support of our members and our incredible staff who help make it all possible.
Beginning November 1 , membership dues will reflect a small increase. This adjustment allows us to continue reinvesting directly back into the course and facilities, with all profits going toward strengthening the Club for our members. While public daily rates have also increased, annual membership remains the best value by far, offering consistent savings and unmatched access.
Be sure to check out the Golf Professional’s update for everything happening on the course this month. October also brings Halloween, stay safe and enjoy time with your family and friends. And as quickly as the year is flying by, November is right around the corner with our annual Thanksgiving Brunch. 2026 is coming fast, but we’re excited for the great season ahead.
We’re especially looking forward to welcoming y pickleball courts under the lights this fall, and t more opportunities to enjoy the Club together
Warm regards,

COURSE MAINTENANCE UPDATE
The rainy season finally arrived! It seems like feast or famine in Florida when it comes to the rain. We either can’t get enough or can’t turn the faucet off.
We are still busy trying to accomplish all our summer projects. We are creating many cart exit and entrance areas around greens and tee areas. These are areas that receive a lot of concentrated traffic and end up thin or bare ground by the end of the winter season. The idea is to create enough traffic diversions with the barricades to help the turf receive less traffic and be able to survive the winter. The green and white stakes we have in many tee and green cart path areas are designed to keep carts from pulling off the path. This has helped these areas tremendously.
#13 tee is in the process of being rebuilt. It will make this tee much larger than the previous one. We will be sodding the tee once all the construction and prep work is finished.
The greens were recently aerified for the last time this summer. The next aerification (with core removal) will be in May. We also aerified many of the tee tops, some cart entrance and exit areas and weak areas in the fairways.
Please remember to help us maintain the course when you play. Proper etiquette goes a long way in creating and maintaining good conditions.

Yours in Turf,
Jerry Yeomans

GOLF PRO UPDATE
Fall is officially here, and we are very excited for this season with the many exciting events and programs we have coming your way.
We welcomed several new annual Members over the last few weeks, and we are starting to see our seasonal members and guests head back into town for the season. In anticipation of a very busy season, we are pleased to announce the addition of 10 new golf carts to our fleet to help us accommodate the increase in play. These new carts from Club Car feature the Lithium-Ion batteries and are about 300 pounds lighter, which creates less wear and tear on the golf course and a very smooth ride.
These new carts will get equipped with the Tag Marshal GPS System in early November and will offer the same golf cart control features as the other carts. The Golf Cart Control (Cart Stop) appears to be working very well now, if your golf cart stops and makes a beeping noise, that means that you have entered on area carts are not allowed and must reverse out. These areas are clearly seen on the Screen with the bright green lines so you can see them as you approach. This feature is working wonders on protecting the areas around the greens that our turf crew has worked so hard on getting into great condition.
October also kicks off a very busy event season, and we are partnering with some very special local organizations to assist them in their events. On Saturday October 18th we will be once again hosting the Viera Women’s Club Swing for Charity golf event. We highly recommend participating in or supporting this event with a Sponsorship, funds raised help the club continue to do wonderful things in our local community. Flyers and registration information can be
On the lesson tee, our Ladies Operation 36 program kicks off the first week of October with 17 Ladies participating in the 2-month program, as ladies golf continues to boom at RCC. Our Juniors will also be in action this fall with the PGA Junior League fall season starting in mid October and will feature matches against several local courses. Our team seeks their 3rd straight local championship, please wish them luck when you see them around the course. Also, our Veterans Golf League is having very strong participation and continues to welcome new players. The league plays every Monday at 10:00AM and is open to all Veterans, no matter skill level, age, or gender. Interested Veterans can contact the golf shop to signup or for further information.
In the golf shop we continue to bring in new brands and have some great looking items coming into the shop this fall and winter. We are also planning a very exciting Holiday Shopping night this coming December that you will not want to miss. New items coming in this fall include Footjoy shirts, Travis Mathew, Anderson Ord, Antigua, and Nike. For equipment, we have several fitting days approaching from all the top manufacturers including PXG, Srixon, Callaway, Taylormade, and Titleist. Please see a golf shop staff member for information and signups.

Thank you for your continued support of the golf operations,
Matt Morrison, PGA Head Golf Professional
