As we dive into the heart of summer, I am excited to share some wonderful updates and upcoming events here at Rockledge Country Club. There’s a lot happening, and I’m thrilled to keep you in the loop.
First and foremost, I want to extend a warm invitation to our July 4th Scramble. This event is always a highlight of our summer calendar, bringing together friends and family for a fun and festive day on the course. I hope you’ll join us in celebrating Independence Day with a round of golf, great company, and some friendly competition.
I’m also pleased to share that our renovation projects are progressing beautifully. Hole 17’s lake turned out stunning, adding even more charm to our course. The driving range is now open, and it’s wonderful to see so many of you enjoying the improvements. Our fairways are growing nicely and are on track to be in great condition soon.
A huge thank you to our incredible outside crew who have been working tirelessly in the summer heat to make all these enhancements possible. Their dedication and hard work are truly appreciated, and it’s thanks to them that we can offer such a wonderful golfing experience.
Looking ahead, we are eagerly anticipating our Bridal Show, scheduled for July 14th. This event will showcase our newly renovated clubhouse and ceremony site, and we’re hopeful it will be a great success. It’s a fantastic opportunity for future brides and grooms to see all that we have to offer and meet some of the best local vendors in the area.
Great things are on the horizon for Rockledge Country Club, and I’m so grateful for your continued support and enthusiasm. Together, we’re creating a vibrant, welcoming community that we can all be proud of. Thank yo part of our club.

Brand New Facilities: Our 20,000 square foot range tee has been laser leveled and sodded for optimal performance.

The “hot and sticky” season is upon us! This is when bermudagrass really thrives. 3 ingredients are needed for optimal bermudagrass growth, and they are, sunlight, temperature and moisture. Right now we have all of those things in abundance. The main issue now is keeping all that grass mowed!
The new fairway renovation project on holes 5, 7, 10, 12 and the driving range landing areas is progressing quite nicely. It has been 4 weeks and grass coverage is good at this stage. We intend to mow them for the first time on Monday, July 8th. There is not a reopening scheduled yet, but stay tuned for that information soon!
The new wall and fountain on hole 17 came out looking very nice. We are continuing to work on the pond to remove the lingering vegetation and hope to have that cleared up soon.
Please continue to monitor yourself when using golf carts. We appreciate those of you that follow the rules of staying on paths around tees and greens. With more play comes more traffic problems, so it is a big help when cart rules are followed.

June was an exciting month for the Golf Operations, we had our first 2 sessions of Summer Junior Camps, with the second camp featuring a record 17 students that had a great week of fun and learning on the range and course, culminating with a thrilling water balloon fight against the coaches to wrap up the week. We have 2 more sessions coming up in July, if you have any kids or grandkids that would like to participate, please see a golf shop staff member.
July 4th we will be hosting our 4th of July Independence day scramble. This 2-person scramble will feature Men’s, Mixed, and Lady divisions and will feature both Gross and Handicap winners in each flight. We will play all 18 holes, with the holes under construction being played as unique and challenging par 3’s. We will be taking signups until July 3rd, so if you would like to enter a team, please contact the golf shop.
This July, we are also kicking off a series of Ladies golf clinics on Wednesday evenings starting July 10th, we have over 40 ladies signed up for each clinic! The clinics are for all ages and skill levels of lady golfers, they will begin at 5:30PM and finish with drinks in the Vue 18 following golf.
These clinics kick off what will be an incredible fall for Ladies Golf, as we have partnered with an organization called Women on Course, and are thrilled to announce that we will be the Home course for the Space Course, and during the month of July we will be announcing a series of lady golf events that will be taking place at Rockledge this fall and winter, and into 2025.
Ladies golf is about to take off in a big way at Rockledge CC!
In the golf shop, we have a new Men’s line of Bermuda Sands that came in, a fun summer style series of shirts that can be worn both on and off the course. This fall we are currently arranging dates for all our club vendors to visit for fitting days, these include Callaway, Taylormade, Srixon, Titleist, and Mizuno. As these dates are announced you will see postings and signup information around the clubhouse.
We hope you all have had a chance to see and get some swings in on our renovated and now open range tee. The turf came out perfect, and this combined with our short game practice area, makes RCC one of the nicest practice facilities in the area. This fall we will be adding some additional amenities to the range tee such as new club washers and additional targets.

Membership is $99 plus tax for each individual membership per month. The membership will include unlimited greens fees and warm up ball bucket at both courses. Cart fee of $24 plus tax is required for each round and is not included in membership price at Rockledge Country Club or the Savannahs Golf Club. Membership is non-transferrable, some restrictions apply.
