Dear Members & Guests,
As the year draws to a close, we reflect on what has been an incredible journey at Rockledge Country Club in 2024. Together, we’ve celebrated milestones, shared cherished moments with loved ones, and created lasting memories both on the course and in the clubhouse.
This year has been one of growth and progress. Our golf course continues to impress, thanks to ongoing improvements that enhance its playability and beauty. Meanwhile, the clubhouse upgrades have made it an even more inviting space for memorable events! These enhancements embody our commitment to providing the best experiences for our RCC community.
We were especially delighted by the success of this year’s Thanksgiving Day Buffet. So many members and guests come together to share a delicious meal and celebrate the holiday. Your enthusiasm and participation are what make our events truly special, and we are deeply grateful for your support.
Looking ahead, the holiday season is full of opportunities to connect and celebrate. We warmly invite you to join us for Breakfast with Santa on December 7th, a joyful occasion for all ages.
Then, on Friday, December 13th, from 6–10 PM, don’t miss our Christmas Pop-Up Party, a festive evening featuring: Holiday-themed cocktails, Photo opportunities with stunning Holiday décor, Live DJ, also offering Prime Rib Dinner in Santa’s VIP Lounge (reservations required for dinner, so secure your spot soon!)

Rounding out the season, we are thrilled to host the Platinum Coast Invitational on December 14th and 15th. This prestigious event showcases talented golfers and highlights the spirit of sportsmanship that defines our club. The Platinum Coast is followed by our Annual Holiday Scramble on December 20th. A few spots are still available for both events—contact the Pro Shop to register!
As we embrace the holiday season, I am reminded of the warmth and camaraderie that make this time of year so meaningful. Whether you’re spending time with loved ones, attending club events, or reflecting on the year, I hope this season brings you joy, peace, and fulfillment.
Looking ahead to 2025, I am filled with excitement for what’s to come. Your continued support and enthusiasm are the heartbeat of Rockledge Country Club, and we are so fortunate to have such a vibrant community.

COURSE MAINTENCE UPDATE

Winter seems to have arrived very abruptly this year. How rude! Oh well, at least we aren’t sweltering under the oppressive heat. The holiday season is here and a lot of golf is sure to be played.
The course is in good shape with the greens running nicely now that cold weather has arrived. The recent tee overseeding is beginning to mature and the bright green gives a nice contrast in color to the surrounding areas.
Some of the hedge material to the right of #5 green died and we are in the process of replacing it. In addition, some irrigation will be added to that area to improve coverage. We anticipate having the fountain back up and running very soon on hole #17.
Everyone please do your part in taking care of the course. Proper cart driving, filling of divots, raking bunkers, and fixing ball marks are all important items that make a big difference in the quality of your course. So, thank you for your diligence in these areas.

PRO SHOP UPDATE
We hope everyone has enjoyed the beautiful fall golf weather that we had in November. The course was incredibly busy all month as we continue to add new Members and Guests, along with welcoming back many of our seasonal members who have returned for the Winter. December brings some of our biggest events, beginning with the 64th Annual Platinum Coast Invitational that will be held on Saturday and Sunday December 14-15. We also have our Holiday 2 Person Scramble that will be held on Friday December 20th, with multiple divisions including Men’s, Mixed, and Ladies Flights.
This Winter we will be offering our latest Junior and Ladies Golf Programs. With the incredible success of our Fall Ladies Operation 36 Program, we will be offering a winter series that kicks off January 15th and wraps up in Mid - March. Practices will be on Wednesday evenings and play days on Saturdays. Ladies that went through a previous session will pick up where they left off, and new players will begin on the first level.
Our PGA Junior League will also be back for the Winter and kickoff in March, our team will be looking to defend the Championship that they earned last season!
The calibration of our new golf cart GPS system is nearing completion, as we continue to fix any bugs in the system and dial in all the settings. We are thrilled with how the approaches to the greens are looking by keeping the cart traffic controlled in these areas. Near January 1st, once the calibration is complete, the feature of powering down the cart will be turned on, this will happen when a cart enters one of the prohibited areas near the green or a tee box. The cart will need to be reversed out of this area.
In the golf shop, we are fully stocked up for the season. We have some great new mid-layer apparel options from Ahead and FootJoy, perfect for the cool mornings and evenings that we will see this Winter. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for the upcoming fitting days; Titleist, Mizuno, and Callaway are all expected to be here within the next several weeks.
