Dear Members and Friends,
I hope your July was full of sunshine, family, and time spent on the course or courts!
As we head into August, I want to share some special personal news, July 28th my daughter Kaylee, who also serves as our talented Marketing Director, has welcomed her first child, a baby girl! It’s such a joyful time, and I’m lucky to be by her side helping her through these early stages of motherhood. While I take some time to support my family, our exceptional team at RCC continues to lead the way and keep everything running smoothly.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Monet for stepping in and assisting with marketing during this transition. I’m so proud of our entire RCC team. Matt, Jerry, Jason, Chef Gilbert, Michelle, Patricia, and so many others, who continue to go above and beyond every day. I’m confident you’re in great hands.
We’re seeing incredible growth on the course and courts. Golf rounds continue to climb to 40,000 annually and it’s inspiring to see more junior and lady golfers joining our RCC family.
Pickleball is also gaining momentum with steady participation and new players each week. Whether you’re new or a regular, there’s a place for everyone here!

COURSE MAINTENANCE UPDATE
The heat is on! We have gone from too wet to too dry in a matter of a few weeks. Very seldom do we get conditions just like we want them, so we must adapt. As I write this, we are definitely struggling with drought conditions. However, by the time you read this, it could be flooding! All kidding aside, we are battling some irrigation issues at the moment. You may have noticed some of the holes dug up on the back nine recently. Those are due to some power issues affecting our irrigation boxes on the course. We think we have resolved the issue now and are in the process of repairing the scars made from all the digging.
Our summer cart path project is ongoing. Unfortunately, due to some of the issues we have had in other areas, it has been a little start and stop lately. We intend to proceed with these areas very soon.
Please be patient with the crew as we go about our daily business of maintaining the course. This is a very busy time of year for us, and we do try to respect your games and keep our noise levels down as much as possible. We appreciate your understanding of this matter.

GOLF PRO UPDATE
A special thanks to all who joined us in an amazing July 4th Scramble and Holiday Celebration at the club. We had a great turnout for the 2-player scramble which was followed by an awards luncheon. Our next Holiday Scramble will be Monday September 1st, our annual Labor Day 2Player Scramble. More information and how to sign up will be available soon.
Our PGA Junior league all star team competed in St. Augustine during our regional competition against some of the best juniors in the area on July 21st. Mother nature did not cooperate with us with the extreme heat and rain which caused a shortened event. Our kids played great golf, and we are very proud of them and can’t wait for next season’s events.
In the golf shop, we have a few new items coming in August. We just received a brand-new accessory order with new designs of ball markers, poker chips, divot tools, etc. Also, in mid-August we will be receiving a new hat line from Pukka Headwear with several new designs that are brand new to us and should be top sellers. Also, be sure to check out our new FootJoy shirts, along with our “Sink to Save” putting for discounts on all new putters while supplies last through the month of August.
We are also pleased to announce that we are now a PXG supplier, for all our PXG players out there. We will be hosting several fitting days here at the club coming up and if you need any PXG equipment, please see a golf shop staff member.
On the lesson tee, we just wrapped up another successful season of July Ladies Golf Clinics. The ladies did great and had a wonderful time, as new golfers developed their skills and more advanced golfers refined theirs with tips from our PGA Instructors. Next up for the ladies, will be an Operation 36 Instruction program that will kick off in September and finish up just before Thanksgiving. Be on the lookout for signup information coming soon for this very popular program.

Weddings & Events Update
As we step into August, I wanted to share some personal news with our Rockledge Country Club family. After a meaningful chapter here, I will be stepping away from my role as Event Sales Manager to embark on my next professional journey. This was not an easy decision, as RCC has been more than just a workplace it’s been a true home filled with wonderful memories, friendships, and an incredible community that I will always hold dear.
While I’m sad to say goodbye, I’m thrilled to introduce you to Kristi Mini, who will be taking over as our new Event Sales Manager. Kristi brings over 7 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has a strong background in event planning and sales. She is excited to join the RCC team and carry on the tradition of excellence in service and celebration.
Please give Kristi a warm welcome when you see her around the club. I know she will be a fantastic addition, and I’m confident you’re in great hands. Thank you all for your support, trust, and kindness during my time here. I will truly miss you!
