The local bus network is equally good, with regular buses from New Milton to nearby villages, the seafront and along the coast.

New Milton sits around eight miles west of Lymington (a major yachting centre) and 12 miles east of Bournemouth, which has a reputation as both a popular tourist destination and a regional business centre.
