POLE VAULT SESSIONS
Pole Vault Sessions are for Vaulters that have either participated in the Pole Vault Mini Camp or have previous Vaulting experience in High School. All athletes must complete the online waiver. Athletes under the age of 18 will need to have a Parent or Guardian establish an account with RCPR. Pre-registered Athletes may join-in at any time during the session but same day registration must be done prior to 12pm. Athletes are also encouraged to bring their own pole (if available). A limited number of Poles can be provided. All sessions will take place inside the Rockingham Recreation Center (1 Rockingham Park Way, Penn Laird).

This Coed Pole Vault Mini Camp is for rising 6th through 12th graders. Previous vaulting experience is not necessary to attend this camp. The instruction will be based on each participant's skill level. Athletes should bring water bottles, snacks, and athletic attire (Running Shoes & Track Spikes). Let’s PLAY BALL! Does your little one love to bounce a ball, kick a ball, swing a bat, learn about games that use a variety of balls? If you answered “yes” then this is the camp for him or her. HOT SHOT BASKETBALL COMPETITION
MULTI-SPORT MIX
There will be 2 weeklong sessions that will meet on Monday-Thursday from 11:30am-1pm. The first session will be the week of June 15th and the second session the week of June 22nd. Each week participants will be broken up to compete in a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and dodgeball. The first half participants will play a fun game style variation of the sport, and the second half will be organized team pickup style play.Whether you have played the sport before or want to try something new, come get a taste of everything the Rockingham Recreation Center has to offer!
Test out your shooting skills in our hot shot basketball competition. Participants will have a specific amount of time to make as many shots as possible from various locations on the basketball court. Each shot is worth a certain number of points. The shooter with the most points will win the competition. The 1 and 2 graders will shoot with a youth basketball (27.5) on a 8ft rim. The 3 and 4 graders will shoot with a women’s basketball (28.5) on a 9ft rim. The 5 and 6 graders will shoot with a men’s basketball (29.5) on a 10ft rim. This camp will get you in shape for the cross country season and help you conquer your next race! Join us for 4 days of long distance workouts, games, and running strategies!
