CELEBRATE WITH US
We have been involved with the Irondequoit 10K and 2 Mile run for the past 6 years. I fell in love with the way the community comes out to celebrate the 4th of July together like no other area around Rochester. Being a Bishop Kearney graduate, I have always had a special connection to the Town of Irondequoit.
This year we have been given the opportunity to organize the race. The decision was a last minute one as we were granted the race contract just three weeks ago!
In that time I think we have made some small but positive changes. We are changing the start line to allow us to have a large archway at the start to really give it a great start line feel. We have secured restrooms at the start/finish line for runners to alleviate the issues we’ve had in past years. And lastly we have added some live music, increased refreshments at the finish line, and awards for age group winners.
Next year we will look to build on what works and make any tweaks where necessary to continue to keep this a great local race with a great vibe.
We appreciate your trust and flexibility and I hope you know how much I value being able to play a small part in trying to create a positive experience for your Town. May we continue to Run Our Community. Together.

FAQ & PARKING
01. Where do the races start?
New this year, both the 10k (8:15am) and 2 mile (8am) start and finish at the Irondequoit Town Hall.
02. Are there water stops?
There are three water stops along the course.
03. Is there a 10k time limit?
There is a time limit of 1.5 hours for the 10k.
04. When is packet pick-up?
Saint Kateri/Christ the King Church
Wednesday, July 3: 5:30 - 7pm
Race day, July 4: 6:15 - 7:30am
05. Is there event parking?
Race participants can park at Saint Kateri/Christ the King Church.
Some surrounding businesses may provide their lots for parking depending on availability.
