CROSSOVER AT THE CAPITOL We’re heading into crossover time at the Minnesota State Capitol, a time when bills are coming due and there is more clarity on likely session outcomes. With much left to accomplish, we seek to address: what will be the final priorities the Senate and the House? What will be the issues where consensus can be reached, and what will be the issues that cause division?

ISSUE TRACKER PATH FORWARD TO RECOVERY How do our

elected legislators view recovery? What metrics do they consider when determining when we have fully recovered? What additional steps must the State take to help businesses, families, schools, and communities bounce back?

BUDGET What is the current status of the 2021

budget? What are the biggest gaps between proposals? Can we expect additional COVID Relief in the form of relief or economic stimulus? What steps must be taken in order for a budget to be passed by the end of session?

TAXES Will the House take action and pass full conformity so businesses will not have to pay taxes on the Paycheck Protection Program relief funds? Can local businesses expect to see their taxes increase in 2021 to pay for the COVID relief measures?
