Hello, my name is Rodrigo, I’m 30 years old and I come from Mexico. I love nature, I love art and I love creating beautiful and useful spaces from those two loves.

Architecture is the undeniable witness of human will and its history, and the reason I´ve dedicated my life to it, is because, after my time I want at least a small part of that trace of history, to be a story of a wise and humane society, conscious, respectful and masterful of the place where its feet stood. The XXI century poses a challenge for Architects, we can either continue to be the agents of the increasing economic inequality crisis that overwhelms the world or we can be agents of resilience, equity, and sustainability. I chose to drive my practice toward the second one, and even though in my country the opportunities to exercise professionally in that matter are hard to get, I´m hopeful it is something that in the future we´ll hold dearly, we just have to pioneer and plant the tree under whose shade tomorrow’s society will sit.

I define my practice as something between the powerful aesthetical influence of Mexican architecture (where mass, volume, natural materials, and strong geometry reign) and the search for freedom, both individual and collective, through sustainability, self-sufficiency, and harmony with the natural cycles of the environment. I´ve been practicing architecture professionally since 2015 and I’m looking for new opportunities and horizons for my practice; what you offer here, might just be what I´m looking for...
