We grew up with the 90s era of animation, comics and characters and therefore our mission is to bring brands from this era to life through modern apparel and accessories with courageous colors & design. We are determined to break boundaries in order to bring our clients high quality items and a responsible production. Nordicbuddies was founded at the end of 2019 in Finland. Today, Nordicbuddies have distribution in over 17 different countries.
The Moomins are the central characters in a series of Moomin books and a Moomintroll comic strip by Tove Jansson. The adventurous Moomin family live in their house in Moominvalley and have many adventures with their various friends.

Currently our biggest brand (license) is (C) Moomin Characters LTD™. In a very short time we have grown to be one of their biggest Moomin licensees. All of our designs are created and designed in Helsinki, Finland on a small Island called Lauttasaari (also known as ”The Island of the happy ones”).

SS24 URBAN DREAMING
Our Urban Dreaming SS24 collection combines the nature and landscape of the Moominvalley with the stories and characters inhabiting it. The design process started with the idea that we all love nature, but in today’s high paced life we are more distant from nature than ever. As a street style brand, we at Nordicbuddies wanted to bring the modern urban
dweller closer to nature and to give them a touch of outdoorsy adventures in their everyday life.
Our aim is to bring Tove Jansson’s nature inspired artwork to life in a fresh way in our designs. In addition, we are bringing back some of our last year’s favourites in a new and exciting way in the SS24 collection.

Moomin thermal bottle is a reusable drink container that keeps drinks cold and hot. The bottle has two layers of stainless steel - an inner wall and outerwall with a thin layer of air between so the temperature of the drink remains the same without changing the outside temperature of the bottle. Plastic screw cap for drinking on the go and a removable lid for refilling.
Heat retention has been calculated under the condition of adding hot water at 95±1°C and leaving it in room temperature. After 1 hour the temperature was 87±1°C and after 6 hours greater than 68±1°C.
Cold retention has been calculated under the condition of adding cold water at 2±1°C and leaving it in a room temperature. After 6 hours the temperature was less than 9±1°C.
