SRC

SRC is currently the highest rating for slip resistance under the EN ISO 20345-2011 standard and requires passing both the SRA and SRB test for it to achieve the rating. These tests are performed on a slip test machine under laboratory conditions using two specified surfaces and contaminants: SRA uses a ceramic floor tile wetted with soapy solution and SRB a smooth stainless steel with glycerol.

CSA MARKS & LABELS Green triangle indicates sole puncture protection with a Grade 1 protective toe to withstand impacts up to 125 Joules. Comparable to a 22.7 kg (50 lb) weight dropped from 0.6 m Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes.

Blue rectangle indicates Grade 1 protective toe without sole puncture protection. Grade 1 protective toe withstands impacts up to 125 Joules. Comparable to a 22.7 kg (50lb) weight dropped from 0.6 m.

White rectangle with orange Greek letter omega indicates soles that provide resistance to electric shock. Such certified footwear contains a sole and heel design assembly that, at the point of manufacturing, has electrical insulating properties intended to withstand 18,000 Volts and a leakage current not exceeding 1mA.

THE LEGACY COLLECTION All boots within the Legacy collection are 100% waterproof. Each boot is made with our signature triple dipping technique, which creates a seamless barrier that is highly resistant to many organic and inorganic acids, chemicals and contaminants. Our latex neoprene is ozone resistant, and is softer, lighter, and far more pliable than ordinary rubber. Cushioned insoles with arch support help fight fatigue and stress on the legs and back. All XTRATUFŽ Legacy boots come with a non-marking, slip-resistant Chevron outsole that provides unparalleled traction on any surface in the most extreme conditions. Insulated styles come with built-in Polymeric Foam insulation. The insulation package will keep your feet warm even when it is -25°C. 2

Built with a Spandura® covered 5mm neoprene bootie; this allows the boot to be comfort rated to -30°C. THE HOMER The Homer was inspired by Alaska commercial fishermen who prefer to slip into a lightweight shoe during the down time when they aren’t working the decks or when the fish aren’t biting. The Homer is water resistant with a slipper like feel.

A comfortable wool upper with a full faux-shearling lining keeps you warm and cozy, while a molded EVA insole provides added comfort. The classic XTRATUF non-marking Chevron outsole delivers great slip resistance.
