Is a new Lorpen fibre used in our new SS22 T2 styles, coming from Unifi® based in 50% polyester Sorbtek® and 50% of polyester Repreve® 100% recycled from plastic bottles. This yarn wicks moisture outside of the skin 3 times faster than other competitors thanks to its Catch-Move-Release™ technology.

In the new styles for SS22, we substitute standard Nylon used in reinforcement areas, and Nylon mixed with Lycra for adaptability, for recycled nylon coming from fishing nets whose life for the fishing industry has come to an end and instead of becoming a danger at the bottom of the sea or garbage elsewhere, they are recycled into a new nylon yarn.

Merino sheep's wool, because of its greater length (65100 mm) and thinner diameter of its fibres (less than 24 micron), results in a softer yarn with finer curls pleasant to the touch. The fibre's core is hydrophilic (retains moisture) and breathes. Since this fibre heats up, even when humid, this is the middle fibre in the T3 Lorpen for colder temperatures.

La laine de mouton Merino possède des fibres plus longues (65-100 mm) avec un diamètre inférieur (moins de 24 microns), ce qui permet d’obtenir un fil plus doux, avec une boucle plus fine qui permet un contact plus agréable avec la peau. Le noyau de la fibre est hydrophile (il retient l’humidité) et respirant.
