Upcycling ingredient program

Robertet Group has an active policy to reduce our environmental footprint and to recycle by-products thanks to the ingredient upcycling program.

More efficient use of resources, and in particular the reuse of plant-based raw materials, is one of the main areas of work for the R&D teams.

Most of our waste constitutes a reserve of raw materials that can be transformed into higher value-added active ingredients. Our ingredients Ulti’Mate™ and Casta’Nea™ are perfect examples of this philosophy.

Mediterranean heritage

The Mediterranean rim is one of earth’s most biologically rich - yet threatenedterrestrial regions.

Its flora has been estimated as containing more than 25 000 species, which means 10% of known higher plant species on only 1,6 % of the earth’s surface.

Mediterranean by nature, Robertet has built a network of partnerships to bring the highest level of expertise in the cultivation and extraction of botanicals from this unique area.
