Oh, Christmas tree, OH!!! By Linda Collins-Mitchell / Resident I am not one to decorate the inside of my house for the holidays. You’ll see a few items here and there. What I do like to do is decorate outside in unique ways. I put ornaments in my pencil tree and sometimes in the rosemary, hang oversized ornaments in the jacaranda tree in the middle of my driveway. And, for the last two years, put a Christmas tree on the driveway for all to see! Now this isn’t just any tree. It is 20-25 ft. tall cut fresh from my yard. Pine trees seem to grow like weeds, so I now have my own tree farm! TREE See Page 8
Hidden Meadows Turkey Trot Rings in the Season By Michelle Zipse / Resident Thanksgiving morning in Hidden Meadows began with a beloved tradition: the annual Turkey Trot, now in its 13th year and as spirited as ever. At 8 a.m., more than 100 local residents gathered in front of
the Market, filling the parking lot with cheerful chatter and a lively holiday buzz. With clear skies and a comfortable 70-degree morning, conditions were perfect for the community walk around the scenic Boulder Oaks Golf Course. TROT See Page 6
