Activities : Commercial Stores, Fashion Houses, Arcade, Galleries and Community Spaces.

Baghdad,Iraq. Specialized with fashion brands and fancy hospitality facilities.

It is part of the development program for one of the main streets in Baghdad, with total length of one kilometre and fourteen street branches that are attached to the main street. The vision for the project was for it to be sustainable, green, minimalistic but also still has a luxurious atmosphere, this was achieved through modular designs, materials and landscape.

Initial Sketch

- When You Design Anythink There are New Ideas Shown As Big Cubes In The Top And Old Ideas Shown As Small Cubes.

- Operation Of Design Is A Continuous Working So The Whole Form Seam Like The Building is not Finish.

- When You Design Clothes There are Lots of small parts of Fabric Shown As Small Cubes.

- When You Go To Any Archaeological Place You Will See Lots Of Separated Bricks And Stones Spread On The Site, Shown As Small Cubes.

- The Whole Form Has Been Taken From Sumerian Ziggurat And Hanging Gardens Of Babylon.

- There are human scale in the building which means Gradient Of Masses 1x1,2x2,4x4,8x8 meters.

We wanted to keep the general look clean, minimalistic and sustainable.

So the used materials were Plaster ( Stucco ), Glass and we added a green roof for some of the buildings.
