THERE’S POWER IN A UNION As of April next year, all cleaners employed by ABM on London’s Underground and TfL will receive the same free travel that is given to other TfL employees. That means you get the same free travel on TfL services that is given to everyone who works for TfL. This is a big step forward in our campaign for justice. It would not have happened without the tireless pressure applied by you and your union. It shows that when you are part of a union you have the power to force change.

END OUTSOURCING
All cleaners should be directly employed RMT believes that it is wrong that you are employed by a private company – ABM. This ‘outsourcing’ of cleaning means you have lower pay, no sick pay and no decent pension. We have fought long and hard to persuade TfL to end this arrangement and employ you directly. Now the Mayor has said he will review this contract again in April next year. RMT will do everything it can to end this outsourcing and win you justice so that you are treated like other TfL staff. Our fight continues for sick pay, decent pensions and £15 an hour.
