RMS Sixth Form Bulletin Edition 12: 1st July 2016
As the penultimate week of the whole year comes to an end, Hind House suddenly seems unusually quiet now that the common room is only filled with half the amount of girls in comparison with the start of the year. The absence of Year 13s has caused a reduction in the typical buzz of Hind House’s atmosphere. However, despite the sadness of losing many of our “Year 13 friends” and “the Big Sisters of the school”, I must say, us Year 12s are certainly enjoying the larger side of the common room, the increase in sofa space and a smaller queue to make cups of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. But on a serious note, Year 12 wishes all the ex-Year 13s the best of luck as they prefer to enter the Big, Wide World. Congratulations, Year 13…You’ve made it!! Fenella What are we doing next week? Monday: In the afternoon the girls will have a talk on drugs. This is compulsory and girls with free periods will need to remain in school for the talk Tuesday: We welcome back the class of 2015 who are coming back to share their experiences of university. Girls have been given the option to pose questions about university to the students. Wednesday: Girls will have form time and share their advice for year 12 to the joiners from year 11 Thursday: End of Year Service Friday: House Day. This is an important part of the school year and helps us bring the full RMS community together. I look forward to lots of participation from the Sixth Form. Mrs Freeman
