The purpose of this thesis is the design of a new pavilion of sociality inside Brescia’s penitentiary (IT). A space capable of hosting the daily activities of prisoners related to consumption and collective meal preparation, also allowing to accommodate specific events such as training courses, workshops and gastronomic dinners.

Project of an apartment building in the center of Santiago, close to Museo de Bellas Artes and Mapocho river. Avenida Santa Maria is a very traďŹƒc congested road, furthermore the principal façade does not receive direct sunlight because of the orientation. The project aims to design units apartments with double exposition and an interior patio, taking advantage of natural ventilation and solar lighting.

Casa Solar design of a Sustainable house in South America

Academic project 2014 Santiago de Chile
Design of a sustainable house for the competition ‘Construye Solar’, the relative Solar Decathlon in South America. The project is entirely prefabricated, with different panels for wall, floor and roof. The project includes also an hydroponic indoor garden and a traditional outdoor garden. Photovoltaic and solar thermal system, rainwater harvesting and natural air cooling, contribute to build a zero impact house.

Participation at the competition Construye Solar 2015, with Pontificia Universidad Catรณlica de Chile working. team. Development, analysis and design of a sustainable house with zero impact. The team has participated at international competition, realizing the prototype and winning the second prize.

Via Barzoni 11 Social Housing Architectural Requalification

Requalification of five blocks of social housing of the 40s’ in Milan. The request was to keep the separation walls between the existing apartment, proposing new apartment units. The project has developed a system of expansion modules that allows a process of “controlled expansion” in time. The goal is to offer 3 types of expansion in order to contrast the phenomenon of self construction abuse.
