All of the proceeds from this event are being donated to the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®, (a.k.a. “The Tooth Truck™”). This mobile dental unit is providing dental care for area at risk children.

The GIC is organized by the Southwest Missouri Football Coaches Association, hosted by the AllStar Smiles Sertoma Club, and proudly features nearly 90 of the Ozarks’ best varsity football players, all graduated seniors.

Thanks to GIC supporters like the sponsors, advertisers in this program, fans and participants, the Tooth Truck began treating at risk children on July 8, 2002, one month after the first GIC. Since that time, 43,000 dental appointments have been provided for 18,000 at risk children on our mobile dental clinic. The total value of dental treatment provided exceeds $10.3 million! The Tooth Truck visits local schools, five days each week. Summers are dedicated to summer school kids, the Boys & Girls Clubs, Salvation Army and foster children. ake a look inside the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile (a.k.a. “The Tooth Truck”!) This state of the art mobile dental office features two complete operatories and weighs in at 26,000 pounds. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is 43 feet in length, 8-1/2 feet wide, 12 feet 10 inches tall and built to handle extreme weather conditions. The

unit features self-contained water systems and is completely heated and air conditioned to operate in any season. Advances in dental technology are such that any treatment that does not require complete sedation may be performed on the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
