Where Hope Heals

Thanks to your support in 2022, we accomplished some incredible things and made a significant impact on the families we served. While continuing the mission and programming we started in 1984, we also reached new milestones and created new opportunities to better serve our guest families.

Our 2022 highlights include:

• We served more families than ever before in our 38-year history.

• We provided more support and resources for these families than in any previous year. This includes more offerings from our Ronald McDonald House staff and volunteers, as well as via community partnerships with the Louisville Zoo, Boys & Girls Haven, and others.

• We improved food offerings for our families by hiring our first staff chef, James Garst. Thanks to Chef James for providing a great variety of nutritious food and for working with our volunteers on a terrific chef-led meal prep experience.

• We created new volunteer opportunities that fit RMHCK’s emerging needs, as well as our volunteers’ busy schedules.

Also, in 2022, we faced significant across-the-board cost increases, due to the highest inflation in our country in decades. Because of our amazing supporters, we were able to continue and grow our mission despite these headwinds. We are thankful for all our donors, volunteers, and everyone else who helped make 2022 a year of milestones.

With our gratitude,

Our Mission
