Trilogy Communities
T
rilogy Communities is the activelifestyle division of Shea Homes; there are four Trilogy resort communities in Arizona, the newest being Trilogy at Verde River, located east of North Scottsdale. These communities offer not just the convenience of a master-planned community, but have also been planned to accommodate the desires of active adults. “We began this journey a little over 16 years ago, said Hal Looney, Arizona president of Trilogy Communities. “We knew the Baby Boomers wanted something different than the typical retirement community. The amenities are the heartbeat of our communities — they’re all centered around lifestyle and creating opportunities for the members to be as busy or relaxed as they want to be. In addition to golf, the communities offer clubhouses and other gathering areas where residents can play sports, exercise, take classes, learn new hobbies, socialize and more. “At Trilogy it starts with a social hub where people are coming together, Looney said. “They all have this common thread — wanting to engage in doing things, in having fun. This is the place they can do that — they can meet people, make new friends, experience new things.
