NEW Ongoing Training Platform Launched

In April we launched a new platform for managing Ongoing Training. The platform is now available within Approved Training Centre and Provider’s RLSS UK Account. It will replace the Ongoing Training and Competency Assessment for Pool Lifeguards and First Aiders website presently found at www.ongoingtandca.org.uk.

The new system allows:

• Managers to have access to real-time data regarding the RLSS UK qualifications of their identified staff.

• Managers to tailor the qualifications they see from the wide range of RLSS UK qualifications, not just NPLQ.

• You to upload bespoke lesson plans for your organisation if you want to design your own training

• You to use RLSS UK lesson plans, trialled and tested by the industry.

• Once individuals have completed training and been deemed as competent, a certificate (training records) is available for individuals.

• Managers to use an indicator system, which highlights when qualifications are due to expire, to help manage their team qualification statuses.

• Managers with more than one site will have access to view all sites.

• Everything is in one place – log training, see certificates, register courses, advertise jobs…..it’s all in one place your RLSS UK Account.

The Ongoing Training platform has been tested, by existing Trainer Assessors (TAs), over several months to make sure it’s ready.

The existing ongoing training website will remain operational until 31 December 2023, providing you with sufficient time to transition to the new system. RLSS UK recommend you download data from the old system to maintain your records.

It is advisable to check with your employer when you wish start using the system, as it may be coordinated centrally or by your Approved Training Centre (ATC) Co-ordinator.
