Our Trustees

My time so far as a Trustee...

HiI am Dave Elliott, Trustee on the RLSS UK Board. Thanks to all our voting members who elected me in 2021, it was greatly appreciated. Since joining the Trustees, I have attended six Board meetings, and been part of decisions on agreeing the 2022 and 2023 budget, reviewing KPIs, the Survive & Save review, appointment of our Youth Advisor, advised on IT projects, Her Royal Highness The Queens Platinum Jubilee Medallion, reviewing 2021 & 2022 accounts and the risk register for the organisation. I’ve also joined our Commercial Committee and sat on an appointments committee for RLSS Commonwealth Trustee roles.

My experience is from an IT / Data & Analytics management background and as an active volunteer with South Shields Volunteer Lifeguards. What I enjoy about being a Trustee is being able to use my experiences from a wide range of industry sectors and projects, ranging from global data transformation programs to software platform implementations provide support to the society.
