LOCAL RESTAURANT EXPANDS TO ROGERS
After more than 20 years in Fayetteville, Mermaids Seafood Restaurant & Catering has opened a new 5,000-square-foot location at 2011 S. Promenade Blvd., No. 440, in Rogers, expanding Golden Table Collective's culinary footprint to four restaurants across Northwest Arkansas. The new Rogers location offers the same heartfelt hospitality that made their Fayetteville spot a local favorite for years.
Mermaids, known for its coastal charm, Southern heart, and memorable celebrations, is a brand of Golden Table Collective, led by Chef Todd Golden and Nickki Golden.
The Goldens have been part of the Northwest Arkansas restaurant scene for over 40 years, with other brands including Isabella’s Italian, TJ’s Sandwich Shop, and Hugs Ice Cream

“The Rogers Lowell Chamber is so helpful for us,” said Hannah Golden, the Events Coordinator and Marketing Manager at Mermaid’s. “I love going to all the networking events. You get to know so many other businesses in the area.”
FEDERAL
ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION
Local business members attended a Federal Legislative Roundtable Aug. 8, featuring Senator John Boozman and Congressman Steve Womack at the Rogers Lowell Chamber.
Through a panel discussion, both Senator Boozman and Congressman Womack addressed issues happening at the federal level and how those will impact our local community in addition to taking questions from attendees.
“Our whole purpose is to serve business and community together, and that can look like a whole host of things,” said Sara Lynn Geiger, Vice President of Government Affairs at RLC. “One of the big things is being the convener and the collaborator — and making sure that we offer opportunities for people to come in and engage in conversations.”
Through hosting events like this, the Rogers Lowell Chamber continues its mission work in serving as the regional link between business and government.

With locations across the globe, Tru by Hilton Rogers Bentonville has expanded its presence to Northwest Arkansas after opening its doors in October 2024 and joining the Rogers Lowell Chamber in May 2025.
“Becoming a Rogers Lowell Chamber member was part the hotel's mission,” said Nadine Miller, General Manager at Tru by Hilton, “to integrate into the local community and attract young families and travelers.”
Guests can choose from accommodations spanning four floors and 90 rooms with free parking and breakfast, a fitness center and unique amenities like cornhole and a pool table.
IN ROGERS
SUPPORTIN
Thank-a-Teacher Celebration, presented by Sam’s Furniture, honored Rogers Public Schools teachers and staff on Aug. 7 at Rogers High School.
Educators received more than $16,800 in door prizes donations, a teacher fair featuring 80+ vendors and a $10,000 award gifted to a locally nominated teacher, Jennifer Plumley, from Eastside Elementary School
“We’ve been a presenting sponsor for about ten years,” said Joe Donaldson, owner of Sam’s Furniture. “Instead of just giving a gift or speaking, we wanted to truly honor teachers. So, we started by giving a $10,000 home makeover to a deserving teacher nominated by peers or principals.”

G SCHOOL SYSTEMS
“This is one of my favorite Chamber events,” said Ross Phillips, Chief Operating Officer at RLC., “because it’s our chance to simply say thank you to the teachers who do so much to shape the next generation of leaders.”

“Rogers is now the region's live music hub, with venues like The Music Depot, Butterfield Stage, Walmart AMP, and local restaurants drawing crowds,” said J.R.
