NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS

The Rogers Lowell Chamber announced its 2025-2026 Arvest First Leadership Class, including 25 students from Rogers High School, Heritage High School and the Rogers Academy of Leadership & Innovation.

This month, AFL’s students attended a leadership retreat at a ropes course in Oklahoma, where they learned about strategies in becoming a leader, trusting others and expanding their comfort zones.

Brittany Moody, Rogers Lowell Chamber Director of Community Development, said that great connections were formed at the event and that students were feeling energized for the year ahead.

Following the ropes course event, several AFL students were asked what they plan to commit to over the next year with the program. Many said they are committed to “being open to new experiences” and “trusting others more.”

Arvest First Leadership (AFL), a program of the Rogers Lowell Chamber, offers a student-focused program, from September to April, promoting personal growth and leadership skills. •
