WOMEN OF COLOR IN STEM PARTNERS During an extraordinary year in which we saw thousands of lives lost to COVID-19 and many businesses and conferences brought to a halt, the Women of Color in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Digital Conference delivered a unique experience.

Demonstrating commitment and resilience, and with the continued support of our partners, events were live streamed across the United States and around the world, allowing full participation for those unable to be with us in Detroit.

The theme for the 2020 Conference, “The World is Counting on Us: Reset to Rise,” was focused on giving attendees the insights and tools that they needed to shape growth in a changing landscape. Together, we rose to the challenges of 2020 and met the moment!

K-12 Village.....................................................................$25,000 The pandemic has made the “learning gap” very real for the COVID generation. Experts estimate that minority students will fall nine months behind because of institutional structure and support loss. The Women of Color (WOC) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Conference addresses a small part of that challenge.

Each year, we host 1,000 high school and middle school students at the WOC STEM Conference. We engage students in hands-on activities, career exploration and college preparatory workshops, and a STEM carnival. The K-12 Village provides schools, parents, and students with materials necessary to help families focus on a dual message: (1) the importance of technology in their everyday lives and (2) the importance of technology in the education and career preparation of children. Particular attention is given to low-income families, as there is a persistent “digital divide” among this population. The goal of the K-12 Village is our recognition of a need to ensure that students of all backgrounds have the knowledge to pursue careers in STEM. The third is the need to increase the subject-matter exposure of families, providing them with the tools they need to prepare their children to enter the STEM field.

school students at WOC. We engage the students in hands-on activities, career exploration and college preparatory workshops, and a STEM carnival. Your logo will appear on the workshop signage and resource guide as well as the cinch sack that every student receives.

Networking Suite/Command Center......................$10,000 Design your branded suite to showcase your organization. The suite features a video screen, text and video chat capabilities, document downloads, branded Zoom lobby, and up to 10 Zoom breakouts.

Invite attendees to engage with your representative and content at a pre-scheduled times. The suite includes extended access that allows you to use it as a command center to conduct private meetings.

It does not include any recruiter functions. The suite content is accessible for the duration of the conference and up to 60 days after.
