BE REMARKABLE

YOUR VISIT The best way to get a feel for the Rivier community is by experiencing it first-hand with a campus visit. Whether you have heard about the University from friends or an admissions counselor, a campus visit allows you to experience the Riv community through the eyes of a student and engage in all that Rivier University offers.

Rivier’s admissions staff can help you plan a campus visit suited to your individual interests and needs. Meet with a professor or coach, tour the campus, sit in on classes, eat lunch with students in the dining center, and even spend a night in one of our residence halls. INTERVIEWS

While an interview is not required, it is an opportunity to speak with your admissions counselor about your goals and academic program of choice. Interviews are available Monday through Friday and can be scheduled by contacting the Admissions Office. WEEKDAY TOURS

Available Monday through Friday, with two tours offered each weekday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. SATURDAY TOUR DAYS

Student-led tours offered throughout the year provide an option for campus access on the weekend. Combine your visit with a Raiders’ home game and get the full experience. For a schedule of campus tours and events, visit us online at events.rivier.edu.

RIVIER OPEN HOUSES Open Houses give an informative overview of Rivier as well as the opportunity to meet faculty who provide in-depth program information and details. Take a student-led tour of campus and talk to faculty and staff from various departments and offices. Open Houses are held on Saturdays during the fall semester.

ACCEPTED STUDENTS DAY Students who have been accepted to Rivier are invited to Accepted Students Day in the spring. Accepted students, and their families, join administration, faculty and staff to celebrate being accepted to the University and the transition to enrolled student. Highlights of the day include participating in simulated classroom experiences taught by Rivier faculty, student panels, and a financial aid presentation.

RAIDER ATHLETICS Although academics come first at Rivier, student-athletes benefit from being a member of a team. With the mentorship of experienced coaches, students achieve success on the field and in the classroom. Rivier offers 13 intercollegiate teams—six men’s and seven women’s—including baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, lacrosse, field hockey, and volleyball. The Raiders are Division III members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and compete as members of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).

MEET WITH A COACH

We encourage prospective student-athletes to come to Rivier for an official visit. You can arrange your visit with our coaches by contacting the Admissions Office. Visit the athletics website at rivier.edu/athletics for more information. MEN’S
