RIVIER AT A GLANCE Founded in 1933 by the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. 2,238 students pursue associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in more than 70 programs. Student/Faculty ratio is 15:1. Recognized as a “College of Distinction” and a “Catholic College of Distinction.” New, 36,000-square-foot Science and Innovation Center. 100% of students have opportunities for internships/ field experiences. JOIN A FACULTY-LED FIELD EXPERIENCE One- or two-week, faculty-led field experiences for academic credit provide students the opportunity to apply coursework and to explore other cultures. Whether it’s studying coral reefs in the U.S. Virgin Islands, testing water samples and educating locals about the importance of safe drinking water in Haiti, participating in acute care nursing and pharmacy experiences in Tanzania, or installing a biodigester for the benefit of a farming community in Costa Rica experiential teaching trips allow students to learn by doing and take their skills beyond the classroom into real-world settings.

The Muldoon Health and Fitness Center hosts basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer, and offers fitness and weight-training equipment. Linda Robinson Athletics Pavilion features include spectator seating, team meeting rooms, a training room, home and visiting team locker rooms, and a press box with an enhanced sound system. Joanne Merrill Field is a state-of-the-art turf field for soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey. Raider Diamond is a beautiful, natural grass facility, which has hosted the GNAC Championship Tournament.
