Sculpted from the rolling hills of Huntington Beach, Seacliff Country Club's spectacular par-72, 6,935yard championship layout was originally conceived by J. Press Maxwell in the old style, leaving terrain completely natural. Lush stands of mature oak trees and swaying palms frame undulating Bermuda fairways and manicured greens. In perfect balance with nature, deep roughs, expansive bunkers, and an abundance of sparkling water features create both strategic diversity and a picturesque backdrop for golf. Tournament Options STARTING OPTIONS Full Field Shotgun : This option is designed for groups with 100+ players and requires that the full course is used. Two groups will start on every hole. With this option all groups will start and finish at approximately the same time. Straight Tee Tournament : This option is good for competitive events. Tournament must have 72+ players. Events will have the option of teeing off the first tee only or teeing off on split tees. Tournament will have the option of initial start time and tee time interval time.
TOURNAMENT FORMATS Scramble Format : In this format every person in the group will hit from the appropriate tee marker. The group will determine the best of the four shots (or two shots if you decide to format it as a two person scramble) and everyone else will pick up their ball and place it a clubs length away from the "best ball". The group will continue this process until the ball in completely in the cup. The winning team is the team with the lowest 18 hole score. This format promotes a faster pace of play and makes the event playable and easier for a wider variety of golf skill sets. This is the most popular Non Profit golf tournament format.
Best Ball : This format may be played as 2, 3, or 4 person teams. Golfers will play their own ball through the entirety of the hole and at the conclusion of the hole they will write down the lowest score as the team score. This format may be played with or without handicap. This is usually a fun format with a medium pace of play for more avid golfers and the results can be calculated quickly. Shamble : In this format every person in the group will tee off from the appropriate tee marker. The group will determine the best of the four shots (or two shots if playing a two person shamble) and everyone else will pick up their ball and place it a clubs length away from that best ball. From this point each player will play their individual shots until all the team members have holed out. The team will record the lowest score as their team score and the team with the lowest 18 hole score will be the tournament winner. Skins : A match play tournament where a "skin" is a point given to the player with the lowest score on the given hole.
MAKE IT FUN CLOSEST TO THE PIN A prize is awarded for the shot that comes to rest the closest to the pin. This game is played on par 3's.
Closest to the pin 2nd shot A prize is awarded for the second shot taken on the hole that comes to rest closest to the pin. This game is to be played on par 4's.
Longest Drive A prize is awarded to the player who strikes the longest drive of the tee box on a selected hole. The ball must land in the fairway to qualify as a winner. This game is to be played on a par 5.
Longest Putt A prize is awarded to the player who makes the longest putt on a specific green. Game can be played on any course green or is a great game to have at the practice putting green before or during the round.
Straightest Drive A white line is placed down the middle of a given fairway. The drive off the tee box that comes to rest closest to the line is deemed the winner. Normally played on the courses straightest hole; can be a par 4 or par 5.
Circle Hole SeaCliff will draw a 15’ circle around the pin on a par 3. The volunteer will ask each golfer if they want to buy in. If they buy in for $5 or $10 (tournaments choice on price) then they get to play the game. If the ball lands inside the circle they will get a prize if it doesn’t land inside the then they can try again or they will move on. They can have up to 3 tries that do not count as mulligans but they have to buy in each time. The prize for this can be a sleeve of balls, raffle tickets or anything the tournament decides fits.

CORKAGE & HOLE SPONSORS Hole Setup and Information for Hole Sponsors At SeaCliff we welcome your on course sponsors! We understand this is a great way for charities to profit while adding to the experience of the event. We are happy to setup up to 8 hole stations on the course complimentary. Any vendor set up after 8 will be a $75.00 fee per station. SeaCliff will supply the tournament with a course set up sheet to identify where the on course stations will be. All food and beverage consumed on-site must be purchased from SeaCliff Country Club unless otherwise authorized by management. Only club employees may serve alcohol as they have obtained proper California State Liquor Licensing.
Vendor Station Set Up Up to 8 stations are included with all Tournament Packages. All stations include one table with linen and 2 chairs. Additional stations may be added for a $75.00 fee per station. SeaCliff has a total of 4 EZ-Ups that the tournament can use in the locations they desire. The Tournament may also use up to 12 Ice Bucket tubs provided by SeaCliff.
Alcohol Station Requirements If any ALCOHOL is distributed on the course, only a SeaCliff staff member is permitted to serve guests. This staff member will serve any alcoholic beverages and continuously restock the product at the hole. An employee staff fee of $80.00 will be applied to any station with Alcohol.
Corkage Fee and Donated Alcohol Licensing Donated Food, Non- Alcoholic & Alcoholic Beverage Fee - $1000.00 Donated Food & Non - Alcoholic Beverage Fee - $750.00 Donated Wine Corkage During Banquet - $15.00 per Bottle Donated alcohol needs to be approved through SeaCliff's events office. Once approved, SeaCliff will surrender their on course liquor licence and the tournament will need to obtain a one day licence using their 501 - C3 from the local ABC office.

Equipment Rental SeaCliff Rental Sets are $50.00 per Set. Golf Club Rentals are Available for Men and Women Provided that the Tournament Requests are Received by the Course within 10 Days of the Tournament Date. Golf Carts SeaCliff Country Club will Provide Two Carts per Team. 72 total Golf carts are provided to each tournament. Additional carts can be rented for an additional fee of $95.00 per cart and $110 per delivery load. Each person driving a cart must have a valid drivers licence and be at minimum 16 years of age. Practice Facilities SeaCliff Country Club offers an on-site practice facility (driving range, putting green and chipping green) which are included in the tournament package two hours prior to the start of the event. Available Dining Areas The SeaCliff Ballroom or the Pacific Dining Room, Terrace and Lounge are available for your awards banquet and dinner after the golf round.
Dress Code All golfers, volunteers and vendors must be in proper club attire while on property. Proper attire includes a shirt with a collar, NO short shorts, cutoffs, tennis shorts, running shorts, tennis length skirts, T-shirts, tank tops, halter tops, bathing suits, stirrup pants, warm - up suits, or any item made from denim or jean material. Shirts must be tucked into pants and only soft spikes are permitted.

Just pass the Stop sign and the Course will be on your right. Directions from the 405 North Exit onto Golden West Street, and turn left. Turn right again onto Palm Avenue. Just pass the Stop sign and the Course will be on your right.
General Information & Contracting Food & Beverage: Enclosed is a list of possible menu selections. The listed menu items are by no means the limit of what our Executive Chef can create for your event. We also can accommodate vegetarian, vegan & gluten free meals. We would be pleased to assist you in designing a menu to best accommodate your needs. Please consider your group needs in advance and discuss any questions or requirements well in advance of the event date. Confirmation Agreement : A confirmation agreement will be sent confirming all the details, including number of players, format, start time, date and any other details determined at the time to hold space. Once the signed agreement is returned with a full deposit the date is considered definite. Deposit and Payment: A Non - refundable deposit, applied to your total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit is $2,000.00. 100% of the final estimated balance is due 14 days prior to the event date. Your are obligated for and guarantee payment of all charges. All outstanding balances must be settled on the golf outing date. Payment for final charges are due when presented to you and will be based on the greater of the guaranteed guest count or, if higher, the actual number of participants and may also include service charges, breakage, cash bar, and other services or merchandise purchases on the golf outing day. Cancellation: All deposits are nonrefundable and non-transferable. Pricing, Service Charge & Tax: Prices are subject to a 21% Club service charge and California State Sales Tax at the current rate. Menu prices cannot be guaranteed until the 90 days prior to your event. Prices and packages are subject to change without notice. SeaCliff Country Club houses several private event spaces and reserves the right to host multiple events on any given day. Decorations: We ask that you not affix anything to the walls, floors, ceilings or furnishings without prior approval from the Event Sales Office. All signs and decorations must be of professional quality. Glitter, confetti, rice and birdseed are not permitted. All candles must be contained in a glass enclosure. Client at commencement of event must take all decorations and client property brought to the Club away. SeaCliff Country Club is not responsible for items left at the Club. Rentals: Event rentals must go through SeaCliff Country Club. In the case that SeaCliff Country Club makes the allowance for an outside company to source goods through the venue, SeaCliff reserves the right to obtain proper licensing. All rentals must be of professional quality and must receive prior approval from the Events Sales Office. Liability: SeaCliff Country Club is not responsible for any damage or loss to any merchandise, articles or valuables belonging to the host or their guests located on the Club property prior to, during or subsequent to any function. The host is responsible for any damages incurred to the Club, including those involving the use of any independent contractor arranged by the host or their representative.
