Group Tastings: Riverwalk Golf Club holds 1 group tasting per quarter. This is an opportunity to taste some foods off our menu and meet with some of our preferred vendors. Attendance to one tasting is complimentary for the bride and groom only. Additional guests may attend for an additional fee. If you choose to attend multiple tastings, you may do so for an additional fee.

Individual Tastings: If you cannot attend a group tasting, we can schedule a personal tasting for you based on your availability. We offer individual tastings on Wednesday Evenings by appointment. An individual tasting needs to be arranged directly with the Private Events Department with a minimum of three weeks advanced notice. You are able to select two entrees, two salads and two starches, complimentary. Additional items can be arranged for additional fees.

Cake Tasting: At any point in the planning process you can set-up a time with any/all of our preferred bakeries or a bakery of your choice to schedule a tasting appointment (Contact information to our preferred bakeries is listed below). If you pre-purchased your cake in your Riverwalk Package we will go through the process of ordering your cake with the bakery. If you have not prepurchased your cake you would pay the bakery directly. Please inform the Riverwalk team what bakery you have chosen and so we can work with you to ensure the correct guest counts and delivery time. BEO Meeting (3 Months Prior): You can set-up your BEO (Banquet Event Order) Meeting with the Private Events Department. Your BEO will outline all of the details of your wedding including: menu selections, timeline, linens, set-up requirements, audio visual requirements and bar selections. Please come to this meeting prepared with the following: -Order of events -A list of all of your vendors with contact names and emergency numbers -Notes from the tasting you attended -Any additional questions or concerns you may have This meeting will typically last one and a half to two hours. Following your meeting the Private Events Department will put all items discussed into the BEO form and will send it to you for you to review, along with a generated floorplan based on your current estimated guest count. Anytime a change is made this form will be revised. When we receive your final guest count we will send a final copy to you for your review and signature for approval.

Wedding Ceremony Rehearsal (Schedule 1 Month Prior): Contact the Private Events Department one month prior to your wedding day to schedule your wedding rehearsal time and date. Rehearsals are based upon availability of the clubs event schedule. Riverwalk Golf Club reserves the right to conduct the rehearsal in an alternate space if the desired ceremony location is occupied by a scheduled event. Before the rehearsal starts the Private Events Department will go through a Rehearsal Form with you. We schedule one hour for your rehearsal and ask that you ensure all guests arrive promptly at the scheduled time.

Final Count and Payment (14 Days Prior): Contact the Private Events Department (14) fourteen days prior to your wedding day with your final minimum guaranteed guest count and all final revisions. The guest count that you provide will not be subject to reduction. All revised paperwork will be sent to you for your final review and signature. Signed paperwork and final payment will be due no later than 14 days prior to your wedding day.


Wedding Items (Up to 2 Days Prior or Day of Rehearsal): Up to two days prior to your wedding day you are welcome to drop off any items that our on site event manager will be assisting you with. This can include the following items: Place Cards - in table number or alphabetical order Favors Toasting Glasses Cake Knife & Server Engagement Photo(s) Card Box Guest Book *Please ensure that all items are ready to be placed directly on table, completely assembled and removed from all packaging.

Day of Wedding: Our on site event manager will assist you with placing out the wedding items listed above. Any additional set-up in terms of decor will need to be delegated to your florist, decor company, or other individual unless previously discussed. Our event manager will also coordinate your wedding ceremony and will remain at Riverwalk until your grand entrance has taken place. Prior to or following grand entrance you or a present family member will be introduced to the Banquet Captain, they will be the main point of contact from that point forward for the evening.


EVENT SET-UP Each private event is provided with 60" round guest tables that can seat 8-10 people. We also have a number of 6ft tables for your use, your Event Sales Team will work with you to create a floor plan. Our 12' x 16' dance floor is included in our packages at no additional cost. The size can be adjusted down to accommodate a smaller wedding size.

DECORATIONS Decorations may not be affixed to the walls of the facility. Glitter, confetti, rice, synthetic petals, birdseed and fireworks are NOT permitted. All candle flames need to be encases in 2" of glass. Sparklers are permitted outside only and you must bring a bucket of sand to extinguish flames and collect trash.

Scotch Tasting & Cigar Bar One Hour for 25 Guests $375

ENTREES Please ask your Event Sales Director for our most current menu selection. With our packages you can select up to two entrees for your guests to choose from, and one vegan/vegetarian entree. If you do select two entrees, the highest price does prevail if you are serving more than one main entree. You will also need to provide place cards that differentiate guests entree choices. All food must be consumed on Riverwalk Golf Club Property and cannot be taken to go. Buffets stations are set out for two hours maximum.

CHILDREN'S MEALS Riverwalk offers children's meals for children between the ages of 3-12. These meals consist of Chicken Strips with French Fries and Fruit, please discuss with your Event Sales Director if you have another option in mind. Children's meal are priced at 50% of the adult cost on a full meal or at $35 for a stations meal.

VENDOR POLICIES & PROCEDURES Riverwalk Golf Club networks with a team of vendors. The Event Sales Team will provide you with our current list of preferred vendors. You are not required to use these vendors, however they have been carefully selected based on our experiences with them. Please provide all vendors contact information to Riverwalk well in advance. All Vendors will have access to the event space one hour prior to the start of your event. Special arrangements may be made for early set up (ie. lighting) upon approval of the Events Sales Team and permitting availability of the venue, only written approval guarantees extended access. Early access does not guarantee full room set up.


F R E Q U E N T L Y A S KE D Q U E S T I O N S Can we bring in our own food & beverage & what are the food/liquor policies? All food and beverage must be provided by Riverwalk Golf Club, unless otherwise arranged with the Events Department. Wedding cakes and candy buffets are excluded from this policy, but additional fees may apply. Wine may be brought in for a corkage fee of $10 per 750ml bottle or $20 for a magnum. Liquor and beer may not be brought in under any circumstances. If outside liquor or beer is found during your event, it will be confiscated and you will be subject to a fine. Riverwalk Golf Club offers a full bar selection. Leftover food cannot leave the property, per your contract (with the exception of the cake).

What time can we and our vendors arrive for set-up on the day of our event? For all events (Daytime and Evening Events) you will have access to your room beginning 1 hour prior to your event. You may make special arrangements for earlier set-up, upon approval of the Events Sales Team and depending on the availability of the club. Please note that if we have an event that takes places before your event, it will take our staff some time to finish resetting for your event and the room may not be completely ready more than 1 hour before your event. Your items can be brought to the club on the day of your rehearsal or 1 day prior if you are not having a ceremony and your items will be stored in our office. Florals and refrigerated items are not permitted.

After our event can we and our vendors leave items at the club overnight? All personal items that were brought to the club that you wish to keep will need to be removed from the property at the end of your event. If items are left overnight, we will do our best to recover them, however, Riverwalk Golf Club is NOT RESPONSIBLE for items left after your event concludes. Vendors need to remove their items on the night of your event, unless other arrangements have been made with the Private Events Department. Overnight parking is permitted.

Who takes care of Day of Coordination? Riverwalk Event Sales Team will appoint someone to assist coordination of your rehearsal and ceremony through grand entrance the day of your wedding, however this person is not a coordinator. You will need to have a Day of Coordinator (professional, friend or family member) to assist you with day of setup if your decorations are more extensive than items previously listed in this congratulations package under: Wedding Items.

How do I set up my tasting? Tasting are an opportunity for you to taste certain menu items and make a decision on your menu selections. Group tastings are held once every quarter, the Event Sales Department will send out an invite, with date, time and when to RSVP by. Additional guests are welcome to attend for a $25 additional fee. If you cannot attend a group tasting, contact your Event Sales Director to schedule an Individual Tasting based on your availability.

When do we meet to go over details? After your tasting, we will set-up a time to go over all of the details of your event, such as food selections, room set up, linens, timeline, etc. This appointment can be made any time before your event but no later than (14) days prior. Once we have discussed all of these aspects of your event, our Event Sales Team will create written confirmation, called a Banquet Event Order. You will review the BEO and sign (14) days prior to your event. *If you do not sign your events order, Riverwalk Golf Club will not be held responsible for any discrepancies.


F R E Q U E N T L Y A S KE D Q U E S T I O N S Do you allow sparklers? Yes, we allow sparklers with a signed liability waiver. We do not allow flying lanterns, rice or confetti. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Do you allow Candles? Yes, we do allow candles as long as they are surrounded and contained by a glass holder. We do not allow taper candle as they do no have a glass holder around them. There are no exceptions.

How much time do we have for our rehearsal? You will have a one hour rehearsal that is scheduled with the Private Events Department. Rehearsals are based upon availability of the clubs event schedule. Who will be running our event? Riverwalk Golf Club has a Banquet Captain that will oversee the timeline and food and beverage aspects of your event. The Banquet Captain will be your point of contact beginning at grand entrance until the conclusion of your event. They will be using the Banquet Event Order that you have previously approved, so it is very important that all the information is accurate. Our Private Events Team will not be present at your event following grand entrance.

Can we go out on the golf course for pictures? Yes! As long as you are assisted by our banquet manager or another golf course employee (for your safety). You will have (2) golf Carts to use for this. One for the photographer and one for the bride and groom. There will not be enough carts for an entire bridal party to take photos on the course however. Please make sure that your photographer is aware of this policy in order to ensure your photography session runs smoothly on the day of your wedding. There are several areas around the clubhouse and on the property that make for beautiful photos. If you or your photographer have any questions or need ideas please contact the Private Events Department.

Is cocktail hour part of our time or is it an extra hour? Cocktail hour is part of your (6) six hour time block. If you would like to add additional time, please contact your Event Sales Director for pricing.
