You help patients get fit for life The RiverStone Health Live Well Center is where Kathleen Plumage turned her life around.

Thanks to our wonderful friends, Kathleen and many others have access to exercise equipment and expert coaching.

After Kathleen overcame a drug addiction, her RiverStone Health physician told her that excess weight was hindering her health. It would eventually cause serious, long-term problems.

Kathleen was at risk of diabetes and other complications if she didn’t start exercising and making healthy choices. Her physician connected her to RiverStone Health’s registered dietitian. Together, they worked on portion size, healthy snacking, and the value of food groups.

In 2019, she had knee surgery and fully recovered by using equipment in the Live Well Center.

Coach Braley worked with Kathleen to develop a program to strengthen her knee. He has been her champion since day one.

Ryan has given me the motivation to keep exercising. Since he believes in me, I believe in myself.

Kathleen Plumage After becoming drug-free, exercising and eating right, Kathleen feels healthier than ever. She walked over 3 miles at the 2021 Scrub Run. She finished strong with Ryan and the RiverStone Health team, and had a great day at South Park.

Kathleen is grateful for all that RiverStone Health has provided her. “RiverStone Health has given me all the tools I needed to get back on track,” she said. “They make accommodations for everyone.”

Kathleen comes to the Live Well Center 3 times a week.

Kathleen needed exercise, but couldn’t afford a gym membership. Around that time, RiverStone Health opened its Live Well Center, a wellequipped exercise area adjacent to our main Clinic. Within this space patients can change old habits and get started in a better direction – no matter their current health status.

Kathleen’s physician referred her to the Live Well Center where she has since worked closely with certified health coach Ryan Braley.

They started with simple routines – using basic machines and introducing healthy eating habits.

Kathleen quickly caught on and was able to do all her workouts on her own.
