residenT-CenTered Care

Every one of us needs help at some point. Here at RiverMead, professional and caring staff members with specialized expertise are always here for you so that residents can live well without worry or frustration.

RiverMead brings care to residents’ homes in our assisted living and memory support neighborhoods – meaning that there is not a need to move to a nursing home. You will have peace of mind knowing that we have a caring staff of nurses and assistants who support our residents even as their needs change.

Residents in assisted living and memory support benefit from programs that are designed to fit their interests and needs. Our team of life enrichment staff members develop comprehensive monthly calendars with activities, events, and excursions for all abilities.

Our holistic programs are designed to benefit every aspect of one’s life. These programs focus on fitness, spirituality, wellness, creativity, and cognitive health. Residents can choose to be active and involved in their pursuits or relaxed and reflective, however and whenever it suits them.

These programs include specialty luncheons, parties, singing, live music, arts and crafts, gardening, exercises, recreational activities, and classes. Residents can expect several different programs that they can participate in each day.

Being located in the Monadnock Region provides access to excellent arts and cultural activities, musical events, nature-based activities, and shopping excursions. We offer transportation to local cultural events and often bring speakers, presenters, and musicians to our assisted living and memory support neighborhoods.

“Residents benefit from a highly personalized experience allowing them to take advantage of the programs and activities that interest them. Our comprehensive calendar features something for everyone. We design enriching activities, excursions, accredited fitness and wellness classes with certified instructors, animal therapy visits, intergenerational and community outreach opportunities, social gatherings, live music, speaker presentations and more to meet all interests and ability levels.”
