Welcome from Rivercrest Angus Ranches R
We would like to welcome everybody to our 21st Annual Bull and Select Heifer Sale. We are continually striving towards genetic improvement which is an exciting and motivating challenge, as there is always room for improvement. Our program focuses on calving ease and pounds in the fall while maintaining a strong maternal presence. We strive hard to keep the essential traits that the Angus breed demands, to rise to the tope, such as a good foot, fleshing ability, phenotype, length, volume, good udders, superior soundness with a gentle disposition.

Last year was a great start as we had timely rains, grass and crops were off to a great start. Unfortunately a massive hail storm came through at the end of July and destroyed much in its path. The cows had to work a little harder for the last 6 weeks prior to weaning as the grass was pounded to the ground and destroyed a lot of pasture. I feel our cows still did an awesome job on their calves up til weaning on Sept 18th. We do not creep our calves nor did our cows go on any swath grazing prior to weaning. They raised their calves on whatever grass they could find.
DLMS will be broadcasting our sale online for those who cannot make it Sale Day. There will also be contacts in the catalog to assist should you prefer.
It is truly an honour and priveledge to serve all our new and repeat customers, local and from afar. We are blessed with such a wonderful, supportive community. If you have any questions, feel free to give me or one of our sale representatives a call and we will do everything to meet your requirements. We would also love for you to come to the ranch and view our offering before Sale Day.

Mother was a very special lady to all that knew her. She was a character who enjoyed her many friends and family. She was open, thoughtful and not afraid to share her mind. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, looking after her yard but most of all; she loved spending time with family and friends. She was creative and loved to cook and bake. She also loved her cards but you had to keep an watchful eye as she was crafty and competitive. She enjoyed singing with the choir and painting landscapes particularly of our many mountain hunting adventures and trail rides.
Her grandkids were her pride and joy, as her and dad rarely missed a hockey game, basketball game, rodeo or any other event. The Bull Sale was another much anticipated day.
Mom passed away on March 25th, 2022 hanging on just long enough to make sure last year’s sale went well. That day she watched the bull sale by video and later that evening she passed away after a seven year battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten as her strong spirit lives on in all of us.

Peak Dot No Doubt 235D
We bought No Doubt at the 2017 Peak Dot Spring Bull Sale. He was our top pick of the entire selection. No Doubt ws the second highest seller of his sire group, topping out at $37,500. He is powerful in every dimension and demands your attention with his thickness, length, great muscle expression, great foot and the most gentle disposition, all which he passes on with great consistency. His daughters are very shapely with beautiful udders. We just can’t get enough of them. We believe he is one of the best curve bending bulls still today, that carries a moderate calving ease package. He produced our all time high seller going to LLB Angus for $29,000 in 2019.
