BRING YOUR CLASS TO RIVERBANK!

Riverbank Arts Centre works closely with Irish and International companies, artists and co-producing partners to present work particularly suited to schools, and to students of all abilities. We are happy to welcome 6000 pupils to our venue each year for performances, screenings, gallery tours and workshops.

We offer tours of our exhibitions for primary and post-primary students, and engagement materials for all ages. This season we are offering primary school gallery tours for Kathleen Lonsdale by Maeve Clancy (p.8). Artist Maeve Clancy will also host an Artist Talk (p.38) for 5th & 6th Class students – this is a free event, booking is essential!

For post-primary we are offering TY & LC gallery visits for Finding Form: Selected Works from Kildare’s Municipal Art Collection (p.9). In addition to guided tours we will also be offering educational resources.

Guided gallery tours are free of charge and must be booked in advance.

This season artist Maeve Clancy will host a CPD day at Riverbank Arts Centre where participants will learn how to make a mini-comic, receive an introduction to biographical comics and make their own. Partnering with Kildare County Libraries, this training looks to use techniques from the Kathleen Lonsdale exhibition & book and apply them to any school subject. Please contact the Box Office for
