Meet the
Artist
Sage Gibson
Sage is a native of San Antonio and has strong ancestral ties to local Native Americans. She has a degree in art and architechtural engineering from the University of Texas. Her Art-Q-Textural career has taken many paths. Artist fro cow parades in Austin and San Antonio, Fiesta & Folklike Posters, Gallery Exhibits, art shows across America with paintings all over the globe. A curator for various art organizations, and past president of River Art Group. She has designed and built dozens of customer homes with her hustband of 23 years. It seems only natural that her two worlds would eventually collide. One one hand she manipulates crylics into unexpected abstract forms. On the other, she constructs intrivate hand dyed batik collage reliefs of whimisical architectural forms and colors to literally dye for. A simple philosophy guies her daily routine of artistic creative.
“Realism is not somthing I aspire to but, avoid. You cal say I am out of touch with reality. I try to capture a smile or better yet, create one.”

Artist
David Guerrero
San Antonio artist David Guerrero has been painting and teaching art for the past thirty years. He retired from Northside ISD, where he taught art at the high school and middle school levels. His work is regularly shown at The River Art Group Gallery in La Villita and Holland Street Gallery in Bellville, Texas. He also exhibits at various art shows and other venues around the state. Bright, vibrant colors and intricate details are characteristic in David’s work.
“Hopefully my creations will give the viewer a feeling of wanting to live or be there. My landscapes are neither here nor there because they could be anywhere. My trees are distinctive and have a surreal quality about them. My inspiration has come from living near the hill country for the past twenty-five years and my roots in west Texas. My art and the process of my technique are unique, and I hope to continue creating, growing, and experimenting.”

Meet the
Artist Sue Hosack
I have been a photographer since 1987. Working mainly in film, I have enjoyed capturing the world through my lens. I am enamored with nature, architecture and wildlife. Spring is my favorite season for photography. I have been working with fiber since I was able to use scissors and a sewing machine. I have been having fun creating various forms of fiber art from table and kitchen accessories, wall art, quilts and wearable art.

Steven Snyder
Steve Snyder is a native Iowan. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Education. He served as the CEO of several local chambers of commerce in Iowa, Arizona and California before retiring in 2013. He moved to Kyle Texas in 2013 with his wife Julie who is the CEO of the Kyle Chamber of Commerce. Prior to moving to Kyle, Steve was vice president of the California Chamber of Commerce in Sacramento, California where he did most of the photography for the business organization. He has photographed three California governors and presidents of four different countries, along with the AMGEN bicycle races and the Summer Olympic Trials. Steve received his first ‘Brownie’ camera when he was 8 years old, and has been taking photos ever since. Steve loves the challenges of landscape photography, and has travelled extensively throughout the United States and over 25 foreign countries capturing images. Barbara Brunner
I grew up in Ohio and have loved painting all my life. I started college planning to go into Interior Design with a minor in Art. Before finishing school, I married and moved around the world being a military wife. I continued my art education at different colleges as I moved. In my late thirties I decided to be “practical” and finished college with a degree in Business. Administration. After being in information technology for thirteen years I moved to San Antonio and became a real estate agent. Finally, I decided to follow my heart and started painting. Since that time, I have studied under Karen McCauley and have taken numerous workshops from well-known artists such as Pat Dews, Betsy Dillard Stroud, Warren Taylor, and Stan Miller. I am a past President of the San Antonio Watercolor Group. My painting “Moonlit Prickly Pears” won BEST OF SHOW in the 2009 San Antonio Real Estate Industry Art Exhibition and my Chen-colle ́, “Lady in Black” on the right below, won first place in mixed media in the 2013 River Arts Group Show.
