We refer to our character grade as "light character". There are minimal splits/cracks as well as fewer knots than the industry norm. The fill we use is stained to blend into the flooring and does not stand out.

Preserved moss is real moss that has been organically engineered to be able to maintain its vibrant colors and natural characteristics All of our moss is sustainably harvested from different forests spanning across Europe Once the moss has been harvested it undergoes the preservation process which is achieved by soaking the moss in a glycerine solution over several days.
During this time, the glycerin penetrates the cells of the moss replacing the water and effectively preserving its softness and flexibility The resulting product is a beautiful natural material that can be used for an endless possibilit es of designs.
