“Caring for the greatest generation” is not a random phrase that Tim and Melisa McLeod use loosely; they view caregiving as a true honor. This commitment is attributed to Melisa’s care of her Uncle Paul, who developed diabetes in his latter years. Paul Herrington, a retired fire chief, was highly respected by the community and was cherished by friends and family. He embraced each day with a joyful heart and kept a smile on his face. He did not allow negative past experiences or career hardships to reflect in his approach to life. Melisa quickly developed a passion for this type of servitude, and after discussing possibilities with her husband, they were determined to make a difference.
Tim and Melisa McLeod have been dedicated to making McLeod Home Care the leading in-home care service in the Midlands since 2016. As they continue to develop and train their growing team of skilled and compassionate caregivers, McLeod Home Care has expanded to the Charleston region. The couple says their success is due first and foremost to God, who has graciously provided them with the knowledge, personnel, patience, and resources required to deliver quality services with integrity to each client. Tim and Melisa have been personally rewarded by improving the quality of life for seniors in the Midlands and are confident that this is their mission.
