Royal Irish Tours (RIT) is Canada’s leading tour operator to Ireland and the UK, proudly offering authentic, immersive travel experiences since 2001. With deep roots in both countries and a passion for personalized service, RIT specializes in expertly crafted vacations that connect travelers with the rich culture, history, and beauty of the Emerald Isle and beyond.
Here’s a little history about how we got here:

An early passion takes flight—Ian begins his travel career in Ireland, selling trips to Canada—a fitting start to a lifelong journey across both countries.

The growing Duffy family pictured together—all four kids, who are now actively involved in the business today.

Ian moves to Canada with his Canadian wife Tricia and young son Conor, laying the foundation for a new life and career abroad.
With Sunquest and other ventures, Ian dives into the Canadian travel scene, building experience and connections.
In 2001, Royal Irish Tours is born—blending Irish heritage with Canadian spirit to create something truly unique.

In 2016, Ian’s son Ronan returns to Ireland to establish the Dublin office alongside General Manager Dee, strengthening ties to home and building onthe-ground support.

A proud team moment—staff gather at the prestigious K Club, celebrating milestones and shared success.
The vision grows beyond borders, as the company expands into the UK market, reaching new travelers.
