It's important to remember that if a step is skipped in our communication process, you may miss connecting with the individual who likely has the most information about the situation at hand.

Effective communication not only fosters a strong partnership but also allows for swift resolution of any concerns or queries you may have.

If you have concerns for the safety of any child, you must immediately contact Ms. Kerry, the Designated Safeguarding Lead for Early Years and Grade 1 or Ms. Carol, the Child Protection Officer at RIS.

Parents, please allow teachers 24 hours to respond during the working week, any emails received on a Friday will be responded to by Monday.

Teachers and leaders will try their best to accomodate face to face or online meetings when requested after school after 1pm for EY1, after 2pm for EY2 and after 3pm for G1.

A reminder that homeroom teachers are with your children for the large majority of the day. They may be unable to respond to an urgent email, if there is a last minute update to your child’s schedule e.g. no bus or another parent collecting your child please contact Ms Anne, araagas@ris.ae she has constant access to emails and will ensure teachers are updated.
