SOME THOUGHTS FROM THE GAFFA

Tonight we welcome Trefelin to the home of Cambrian after having to switch pitches due to a clash. Having already played Trefelin a few times this season we are hoping for a change of fortune.

Over the last few weeks we has seen us play 3 away games on the bounce. It’s been an excellent run of games achieving 7 points out of 9. First up was Undy where we ran away convincing winners although the score line suggested it was a tighter game. Second game was Taffs Well from which saw us came away with a 3-1 win having been 1-0 down. Last week we travelled to Llanelli and having lead for majority of the game we conceded a late equaliser and game ended 1-1. We was disappointed as it was a late goal but on reflection taking 7 from 9 points is a good return and sets us up for this weekends game.

Squad news hasn’t been great and looks like we have bad injuries to our keeper Joe Massaro and full back Callum Porter both will be a big loss. We do welcome back to the squad Tom Gameson after suspension and will be a boost to the team.
